Very kind doctor and staff.

Very prompt, kind, and knowledgeable... But very expensive

Doctor Merideth did a thorough exam and was thorough in his explanation of my kitten's eye condition. He was direct and to the point, which, as a registered nurse myself, I greatly appreciated. Though unfortunately there is nothing that can be done to fix my little Milky Way's sight impairment (turns out it's almost complete retinal degeneration), Dr. Merideth was caring enough to assure me, in multiple ways, that the little guy would live a full life (which I already knew. He's adapted remarkably well. I appreciated it, nonetheless.) I admit the the price for the examination was expensive compared to my family veterinary practice, but it was significantly cheaper than the national average price for an initial visit for a human opthalmologist (workout insurance). It was well worth it for the knowledge that nothing more sinister was going on with my furbaby's health, for determining the possibilities of what could (or couldn't) be done to improve his sight, and the confirmation that he is in fact blind, so I can make the lifestyle adjustments that he needs. Overall it was a positive experience.

Don't mess around with your pet's eyes- get in here so the nice docs can fix them up! Our dog originally had been treated here for a corneal ulcer a couple years ago and it healed up great. Recently, she had the same problem and it just wasn't getting better after weeks of treatment by our regular vet, so I got her back to Animal Eye Associates as fast as I could. And good thing I did- her eye was worse than I thought. Luckily, they were able to treat her and now her eye is all healed. We don't want to think about the possibility of our dog having to lose an eye, so we are very grateful for this office and all that they do!! **One bonus note- I messed up and missed my dog's follow up appt the other day (had it at a different time in my calendar), so when I showed up to the office at the wrong time- they were nice enough to fit us in even though it was me who messed up!

Our dog is quite skiddish, but everyone there was great with her! They have really helped her eye condition improve as well!

O'Malley was treated very well at Animal Eye Associates. We were extremely pleased with the service and quite surat how inexpensive our visit turned out to be. I highly recommend them.

My elderly chihuahua Lilly has had a dry eye since we rescued her in 2011. She would have lost her eye if it hadn’t been for Dr. Ben Johnson back then. Today we saw Dr. Meredith and he gave us an updated care plan with updated medications to improve her quality of life. I highly recommend this caring team of doctors and medical veterinary care professionals for your cat and dog eye care.

Dr. Johnson is a very good eye specialist for animals. My Cat Stella had contracted herpes( in her left eye) from a kitten that we adopted from,Heartland Animal shelter. She is on the road to recovery, and she wouldn't be if it was for Dr. Johnson. I highly recommend him. I do not recommend Heartland Animals Shelter. We took that kitten back.

Got us in to check on my car. The doctor seemed a little stiff with me but cat responded to him well. Would recommend for pet eye issues.

the doctor is very thorough, and made sure to answer all of my questions. i definitely recommend them to anyone with pets who have eye concerns.

We brought our poodle mix to Dr. Johnson in November last year for an eye injury, a corneal ulcer to be exact. We were panic because another vet recommended an immediate eye removal surgery since he had the risk of “losing both eyes”. Dr. Johnson and his staff were kind, caring and very patient. He examined thoroughly, diagnosed accurately and explained the situation to us very clearly. No surgery was needed and our fur baby has completely recovered. Dr. Johnson is a highly knowledgeable and compassionate ophthalmologist. We would recommend him to anyone.

VERY HARD to get an appointment...not flexible at all...that is my only complaint. When you see the md MAKE SURE you make Follow up appointment right then and there..or u have to wait longer for appointment. Doctor explains diagnosis and treatment thoroughly.i trust this opth....he communicates with my dogs.primary vet. Staff and md.are friendly. Md seems like he does care for my dogs wellbeing

Dr and staff are very friendly. I took my dog there for a 2nd opinion because she lost her vision. Totally gave me hope and the meds did help. Shes on her way to regaining her vision. I'm so happy I took my furbaby there for help. I would definitely recommend. Also, very affordable.

Beyond happy with the care of my cat with Dr. Johnson and his staff. My cat underwent an entropion correction surgery yesterday and from our very first consult to surgery to our surgery discharge release, I have nothing but wonderful things to say. The technicians and Dr Johnson were very kind to me and my cat. Dr. Johnson is not only extremely knowledgeable, but took the time to explain everything to me. I would highly recommend them and while I hope none of my pets ever face eye issues, I will not hesitate to go back to him again should a health concern arise. Thank you Animal Eye Associates for not only your tremendous work in fixing my cat, but your compassionate and friendly attitudes. Thank you, I would give 10 stars if I could! Awesome staff working here, very friendly, super to talk to and will explain everything there is to know. Helped my doggie see again with surgery and could not be happier. 5star service thats for sure. Would recommend to anyone. ????????

This is the first 'specialty' doctor we've seen. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The doctor is most likley the most caring and compassionate doctor I've ever met. Wonderful experience under difficult circumstances.

Somewhat expensive, but they re good doctor

My dog was completely blind when we went through medication and eyedrops he was able to get some sight back. Unfortunately going off the steroid he lost more of his sight and there's a good chance he won't get any back but I think dr. Johnson is wonderful and would recommend him to anyone he is a wonderful ophthalmologist
