The dr told me that my cats condition could be caused by three things. None of them were very favorable. One week after having the blood tests done I had still not heard any results. I have now left 4 messages trying to get her results. Needless to say, I am picking up all 3 of my cats records today and taking them to another vet. Not happy at all. I don't know what happened to this place. It used to great.

Dr. Laves and his staff were not responsive in a time of pet emergency. Our dog had terrible uncontrolled seizures and had to be put down. I called his office 4 times without response from the doctor. He never called to follow up and was not available in the time of utmost need DURING REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS. Thank god for Veterinary Specialty Services. If you are thinking of taking your pet here, I recommend going to any other vet.

While calling the office can be a chore (they are busy and someone is not always at the desk), in the end it has always been worth it for me. Our dogs love Dr. Laves and he always gives practical advice on their health issues when they come up. I would rather deal with a bit of trouble with phone calls for routine appointments than have a vet and office my dog is afraid of!

The receptionist, Marie, is unbelievably rude and impatient. She seemed very put out to be bothered by a patient, charged me for something that the Dr. had said was covered in the previous visit, lied about asking him about it, and just generally awful to deal with. Even though Dr. Laves was AWESOME, we will not be returning with our three pets. There is never a reason to reward that sort of behavior and it's sad Dr. Laves tolerates an employee like Marie mistreating his customers.

Dr. Laves is the best! We've been taking our dogs to Ark for over a decade. Even after moving out of west county we still make the trip because we can't imagine going to a different vet.

Dr. Laves and his staff are wonderful. The personal care they give our pets is outstanding. We drive in from Dardenne Prairie to have our pets cared for by him.

My dog receives excellent care from the veterinarian here. However, no one ever answers the phone - it seems to be disconnected - and there is no website I can find, so scheduling is a NIGHTMARE. Shame when they have such excellent service on-site.

Dr. Laves has diligently taken care of my family's pets for well over a decade. He saw two of them through their whole lives, and took expert care of them both.

Kindest and best vet and staff. I drive from St Peter’s to bring my pets there. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Kurt and his staff are awesome! He is the most compassionate vet that I have ever known. I will never take my dog to any other vet.
