Our dog was discharged today. He would have died if it weren’t for the amazing staff here. I was given updates over his three day stay, and felt that he was well cared for. The staff does a very difficult job very well.. Thank you to …

Took a stray cat in late on a Sunday night. Mr. Peabody ended up staying two nights for treatment. Docs were very informative about treatment and good about calling with updates. So thankful for the great care AEC!

Our sweet sweet dog suddenly got very sick over the weekend when our regular vet was closed. Our local vet recommended the Animal ER Clinic and after speaking with them on the phone, we traveled over an hour to reach them. Once there, we were told the wait was quite long but they were going to come out to the car to triage our sweet Bella. Bella was quickly going down hill and the staff recognized that. They took her inside to be seen immediately and called us with all the updates as they happened. The staff was beyond compassionate, caring, and thoughtful. We were devastated to learn our sweet girl wasn't going to make it and they allowed my children and I to be with Bella in her final moments. The staff explained everything to us and gave us the time we needed. I will never forget the compassion they showed us, having never even met us before.

It’s not just them, it’s the entire St. Louis veterinary industry. It’s a disaster and it has completely imploded. It’s been almost 2 years since covid hit. Adjust and figure it out already. It’s the pets who are suffering. Nothing about the current situation with wait times is ok or reasonable anymore. Again, it’s the PETS who are suffering. The pets these places claim to be there to help. Figure. It. Out.

Aren’t no understand why all clinic emergency of animals only there is a doctor in the night?? They make a lot money and why only has a doctor in each clinic in the night?? Aren’t no understand where the others doctors? They is for give the service to the animals, they take the college or any school for give a service no only for make money, my question is why they work in this? If they no is giving to attention to all peoples. You can imagine 1 doctor for clinic in emergency hospital for peoples ??? Exactly is the same for the animal emergency clinic. And only apologize aren’t think if you bring to you son or daughter to you emergency clinic and only there is a doctor.

We're from out of town and our dog exhibited lethargy and pain. We took him to Animal Emergency Clinic to be treated. They were VERY busy and we had to wait several hours before they could examine him. We had to wait in the parking lot, but they did come out to triage him. He was not in a life threatening condition. They were able to fully examine and treat him on site. They had the needed lab, radiology, and pharmacy resources. They did communicate by phone successfully with us. Our dog is recovering successfully. The capable staff was overworked but not overwhelmed. They performed very well. I would not hesitate to use them again if the need would arise.

A boarding facility brought our boy here when he went into Addisons crisis while we were out of town. They took great care of him and gave us sufficient paperwork to file with our pet insurance. Thanks to the quick action of the boarding facility staff and the great care of this hospital we got another two years with our Spock.

The entire staff were very helpful, informative, determined to help our dog and compassionate. With all this said, the vet was very direct; gave details of the issue and possible outcomes. We are so thankful our dog made it through his crisis, all due to the staff at AEC! Thank you

They were very compassionate and caring in our time of need and took great care of our dog. Their fees are very reasonable in my opinion.

I have always been very skeptical of the medical industry from all aspects. Our cat had ingested some kind of object (we’re assuming plastic) we were referred here and already had X-rays done thru banfield. They originally quoted us almost $4000 for the high end of a super invasive surgery but worked with us over the course of a few days to try every option possible. When it was eventually time for her to go thru the surgery, the doctor was able to push the object thru to her colon which in turn resulted in a way less invasive surgery and a significantly lower bill. Throughout her visit, the staff was happy to check up on her and provided us updates every time we called. Dr. Brady was super professional and eased all of our concerns while providing detailed information that was easy to digest. I did not get the woman’s name who performed the surgery but the only thing I am seeing on the statement besides Dr. Brady is Dr.Esser. Thank you for all that you guys did. Attached is a picture of Willow, feeling good from the pain meds lol

The Vet Tech staff at this at this place are rude and disrespectful. However the actual Ver is very nice, helpful and takes good care of your pet. For the prices they cost they should have better Techs.

They were caring, compassionate, and attentive to us and my pet. Unfortunately our pet did not make it but they allowed us to say goodbye to him and to take our time in doing so. I definitely recommend them to anyone who has emergency needs for their pet.

Took our dog there for emergency care.Set in the parking lot for 2 hours.I think we were the first in lineThat morning. The people were nice but the service was very very poor. They need to take the word Emergency Care out of their name.

My kitty of 16 years passed away on our way to the Emergency vet. When we got there someone came out and we informed them he had already passed. Her response “oh yeah. Do you want a clay paw print for $21?” Jesus. We went home and spent time with him before taking him to our normal vet when they opened. No sympathy, just numb to the sadness of others when they lose their best friend suddenly.
