Nice staff but never can get my pets seen.they wanted to recomend a vet 30 miles away one way said the werent taking any new patients.

Dr Berger and his staff go above and wayyyyy beyond normal services to make sure not only are our pets taken care of but we (the pet parents) are too! This THE best Animal Hospital ever!!

Dr Berger is a top quality veterinarian. I live in an area with several farm vets and wouldn’t change a thing. Dr Berger has built a reputation that if you want to save your pet, he’s the guy. I am not speaking less of the others. There is a reason pulling a calf can’t equal canine hip replacement. One is business, and one is emotion. Dr Berger is Rolla’s Barnes for Canines. If you don’t know what I’m trying to say, it’s a compliment for Dr Berger. I would trust him completely and if he tells you it won’t help, he is just telling you what the best of the best will tell you. He is a gift to our community.

Appreciated the tech coming out to the waiting room to give my cat her shot, in the comfort of my lap. Quick & easy. Thank to you Raven had a pretty stress free visit.

The staff and Dr. Berger were very professional, but in a laid back manner. They explained everything and i couldn't have asked for more.

This veterinary clinic has gone above and beyond in caring for my animals. I switched to this vet after a very serious misdiagnosis with another local vet. We brought my dog here for a second opinion and they immediately told us something was very wrong and we needed to take her to Columbia University. Turns out she had cancer and was bleeding internally. If we had followed the other clinics diagnosis she would have suffered in pain until passing away. Thanks to Dr. Berger swiftly referring us to Columbia we were able to get a couple more weeks with our girl before having to have her put to sleep. I’ve come here ever since that happened 5 years ago and it was the best decision to switch.

No better place for my pets each and every member of the staff is definitely dedicated to great and safe care of any animal brought to them. They are courteous and friendly and interested about your opinions gained from watching you pets. The hey really care.

UPDATE- still using Dr Berger and Animal Health Center and could not be happier. My husband and I own MidMissouri Malamute Rescue and we have numerous dogs coming through Animal Health Center and all have received amazing care. I am not the easiest person to deal with as all the puppies, whether ours personally or the Rescues, mean a lot to me and I expect a lot from Dr Berger and can honestly say he has yet to disappoint! I first went to see Dr. Berger numerous years ago when my Alaskan Malamute, Decator, all of a sudden could not move his back end. I found out Decator had been misdiagnosed with tick bite paralysis by a different Veterinarian and he actually had a disk in his back out. Dr. Berger was willing to try everything possible before finally saying Decator would have to undergo surgery or be put down. Putting my precious boy down was NOT an option! After undergoing the surgery, Dr. Berger continued to see Decator for all of his follow ups (even ALWAYS seeing him in the waiting room, or even on occasion, outside - as Decator would not go back in the patient rooms). I would have never trusted Decators care to anyone else - my whole world revolved around that boy (yes i'm speaking in past tense as I have since lost my boy and have found myself with a broken heart that will never heal!), he deserved and got nothing but the best! I have since homed several rescue dogs thanks to the amazing references received from Dr. Berger and his staff (Thank you all so much for that!) - Including a Chocolate Lab (ShyAnn), Great Pyrenees/Border Collie mix (Keeper), Siberian Husky (Wylie) and another precious Alaskan Malamute (Krimson), whom have all received the same amazing care from Dr. Berger that Decator had. I am even considering starting a Malamute Rescue, as Missouri does not currently have one, and I have no doubts they would be well taken care of by Dr. Berger and his staff. I also have numerous cats/goats/cows. etc, that have all been seen by Dr. Berger! Anytime I call he is more than willing to come out to my home to see them if need be or get them right in at the office (unlike other veterinarian offices whom make you schedule appointments weeks out for emergencies) - I have even just showed up at the office numerous times with issues and have had no problem having my babies seen. My cat, Mallie, had continuous urinary blockage issues and I spent thousands with another veterinarian trying to correct this issue - one visit with Dr. Berger and he was good to go with no flare ups for several years now!! Dr. Berger is up front and honest about issues but also understands your pets are family to you and does not give up on them! I could go on and on in regards to all the amazing treatment my fur babies have received from Dr. Berger and how wonderful his staff is, but that would take days.....so all that really needs to be said is...if I would trust him with the lives of MY precious babies...then you can undoubtedly trust him with the lives of yours!

The best veterinary experience you could have! All three vets have personally followed up with a phone call to me to see how the dogs have progressed on the treatments given for their ailments. They remember my pets, and the entire staff is competent, compassionate, loving, and extremely helpful. They are very good at getting it right the first time. 5 stars? More like 6 or more!

We rescue kitties whenever we can and the folks at Animal Health Center take SUCH good care of us and our fur babies. I’ve gone to other veterinarians in Rolla and Dr Berger, Dr Victoria, and Dr Smith are by far the best.

Shame on the Veterinarians in Rolla that won't see an animal in an emergency because they aren't a regular patient! TCVC in Houston & William's Vet in Mtn Grove will take emergencies for future reference!!

Our 16 year old dog became quite ill while we were traveling from Arizona to New Jersey. At our stop in Missouri we were beside ourselves with worry over her condition. After searching for emergency vet services in Rolla, we came upon this Center. Based upon the reviews we showed up without an appointment first thing in the morning. We were greeted with compassion and concern and the entire staff made us feel welcome. Our dog was treated at a very reasonable cost and we cannot say enough great things about this wonderful vet and her staff.

We have used AHC of Rolla for several years now. I am very pleased with the amount of time spent with me in answering my questions, and the information I received as well as a prognosis going forward. My transition from Dr Erica to Dr Victoria was seamless and I can honestly say that everyone and AHC has genuinely cared for my pet and our family in the process.

Dr. Berger and his team take excellent care of Corky and Spot. Always available, we had an emergency when Corky got attacked by a Doberman. They took him right into surgery. And when Spot got sick recently, they were great in person, following up with phone calls, and very knowledgeable.

They're the best of the best!

Not taking new patients right now, so that was a setback I wasn't expecting.

I'm very thankful that their staff is as patient and caring as they are. One of my dogs has high anxiety, and they spent half an hour on the ground with her to get her comfortable. They managed to get a bond, and complete her visit, workout unnecessary tranquilizers or muzzles. And they were knowledgeable regarding safe treatments for my herding dogs heart worm prevention.

Saved my cats life. Very nice. Very helpful.

They became our permanent vet when we had an emergency when our other vet was closed and no one in the area would see a dog that wasn't established at their practice. Dr Victoria and the AHC staff told me to just get there, saw our Buddy immediately, found he was internally bleeding, and immediately sent us to a St Louis emergency hospital for a blood transfusion. I had been turned away at 3 other vets in the area before I called AHC of Rolla. Dr Victoria and her staff saved Buddy's life then and I will be forever grateful for their willingness to help in that situation.

Having never had an animal that needed vet care, this process was easy, even with Covid requirements. Prices seemed far, timely, gave us options, nothing was demanded. It was a great experience.

They were great when my dog ate poison.
