Dr. Ashley was uninterested and totally rude when my dog, Ginger, was dying. Had a bad experience with the other vet in the office as well. If your dog is well and just needs shots, they are ok, not great or compassionate, but ok. I personally will NEVER take an animal of mine there again.

STAY AWAY! I am disgusted by the neglect my dog experienced at this vet. She has been sick for 4 days, can't keep anything down, won't eat, and is lethargic. She needs care, but Crossroads won't help. She is fear aggressive so has to be sedated before vet visits. Since she won't eat and can't even keep water down we can't do that. The vet knew she would need sedation. She's been there before (and they weren't great then, but we were desperate today) so they knew. She was in a crate, with her leash out the door so they could hold her while someone gave an injection. They refused to get close enough to try. (She couldn't get out of the crate!) She sat in her travel crate for qbout 6 hours, scared out of her mind, and so anxious she had chewed her foot bloody. They didn't call us until 5 hours had passed. It was too late to get an appointment anywhere else. This is neglect! I spoke with 2 other vets who were appalled they would do this. All vets should know how to sedate an aggressive animal. She has vision issues and anxiety. It's not her fault she's afraid of strangers and she shouldn't be punished for it.

Since Dr Harder left, this facility has started a downward slide. Staff and Dr’s may be friendly, but the quality of care has changed. Especially when a person had 2 dogs already established for 4 years in their system. And having to wait for 2 week appt to get a infection cleared up. Found another vets office that cares and was seen within 3 days of infection. Have moved all their records to new vet. Still sad I had to move though. Better safe then sorry though.

This place used to be great when it was Stringer. Now, under new ownership, it’s changed completely. Staff does not communicate well and never seem to know what’s going on. Dropped dogs off for routine checks and vaccines, and two hours after opening the new owner is walking around in gym shorts like she just got back from a workout, and the staff was telling people they don’t know where the doctor was but she’d be there soon. Totally unprofessional. New ownership does NOT coach employees; I have been left in the parking lot waiting for dogs to be picked up while I watched numerous other cars come and go before I have to call to remind them I’m there—and this has happened multiple times. When dogs are there all day, they ALL come home incredibly thirsty like they have been given no water. I have been there at times when the staff has been rude and unresponsive, and when I would tell them they were being rude and not answering peoples questions, the new owner actually came out and asked me to not be rude to her employees, while her employees were being VERY rude to an old lady in front of me. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE DR. STRINGER ESTABLISHED. Same building; a sad mockery of a vet clinic.

Reason for the 2 stars. My dog ended up getting kennel cough after staying here. Called numerous times with no answer. Sent an email explaining that things happen and what happened with no return email or phone call. $90 vet bill later and a week of painful coughing for our dog. He also came home with a wound on the pad of his foot which we had to buy medicine. Paid for the bath before pick up and he came out soaking wet (thank goodness I had towels). The two stars are for the vet getting him meds for his happy tail that was bleeding, the cost for staying was inexpensive and the staff was friendly.

This is The second time my dog has been urgently sick and They were not able to get us in until the next week. I understand that they are busy and they can't always allow for extra time for emergency situation but I do expect to be seeing more quickly than a week later. I feel like they aren't even trying to accommodate their patients. I'd prefer to go to a vet that I can rely on for situations exactly like this one and if that's not the case then I will find somewhere else.

This place is relatively new to me so not a lot of experience with it but I will say they are very people friendly and listen to what you have to say I would definitely go back in the future if needed and you might have to wait if it is crowded being that there is only one vet but plan accordingly.

They made our little dog feel like he was the only one there. He didn't even flinch when he got his shot or blood draw. The vet knows her stuff.

I've been taking my furbabies to this clinic (Stringer Clinic) for 20 years and have never had any complaints. Dr Ashley is amazing, unfortunately we seem to only see Dr Shelly Harders since the change in ownership. I am currently looking for a new vet clinic after the death of my chihuahua 2 days ago. Our Annie was 12 years old, but you sure wouldn't know it. She was still very active and playful, and she meant the world to us. In July 2020, I took her to the vet because she had stopped jumping up into the chair and wouldn't go up the stairs, not even one. She was also having issues going to the bathroom. Dr Shelly checked her out, said it was probably arthritis and gave her anti-inflammatories. She mentioned in passing that she had a heart murmur, did not indicate any significance. My daughter was born with a heart murmur, we were told not to worry about and she's 28 now. Fast forward to Feb 18th, she's not jumping up again, off and on, for about a week and having tummy issues again. Most concerning though is labored breathing on the 18th. We took her to the vet on the 19th, Dr Shelly says she has fluid around her heart and lungs and a heart murmur. Sends her home with medicine to help. We were so relieved it wasn't too serious. Saturday morning the 20th we watched her gasping for breath and seizing for half an hour, and we watched her die. There's no way the doctor didn't know she was near death, no tests were recommended and she was ready for pick up in less than an hour. Aside from the fact that she totally missed this problem 6 months ago based on what I now know are common symptoms, she gave no indication we should prepare for her imminent death! We should have known better when she completely missed a thyroid imbalance in our obese pom. After 2 visits of being told that his lethargy and heavy breathing were because he needed to lose weight, thankfully his GROOMER suspected a thyroid issue based on his symptoms. If not for her, he would have gone untreated. I can't express enough how we regret taking our babies to this clinic after it changed ownership.
