Dr. Bassett was so great and helpful today when my fiancée’s guinea pig was brought in. He was not doing well and they were able to get him right in. Her dad had to bring him in due to us being out of town but they kept us very informed with what was going on. Unfortunately he took a turn for the worse very suddenly, even before they could begin their exam, and we all decided euthanasia was the best option. They made a very nice paw print for us and were able to perform a necropsy (per my fiancée’s request) so we could better understand why he died. All in all a terrific experience and I would 110% recommend them for all exotic animal owners. Thanks All Creatures Team, you guys are awesome!

Scheduled a nail trim for our bunny since the other vets in the area don't provide that service. I was told the price of the nail trim, and was able to get an appointment within a week. I show up with bunny in hand for the trim, and am told that I have to pay a $55 "exam" fee alongside the nail trim. The justification is that he has never been seen there, and as such they require an exam. Additionally this fee is about $20 higher than the surrounding vets (Stanley, BVAH, Ironhorse). I could maybe understand this, if I were looking to have a surgery done. But to charge an exam fee to trim nails, it nothing short of a money grab. Additionally this was never communicated during the conversation when scheduling the appointment. My advice to management is to do a better job communicating this fee in advance. That way we don't wast each other's time. Also maybe consider no exam fee for grooming. You are pricing yourself out of the market. I opted not to conduct business with this vet on principle.

This veterinary hospital is one of the best pet experiences I've had. My two cats have seen Dr. Sarah Dunn since they were kittens. She's followed them their whole lives so far and I have no plans on changing vets. She is extremely knowledgeable and you can tell your animal is her #1 priority. She has special care notes for one of my cats who has a reaction to the rabies vaccine and she created a personalized pre-vaccine treatment that prevents her from having any reactions. Their staff is very friendly and they are very safe with the coronavirus. Your pets will need to go in by themselves after you hand them off at the door to a vet tech. This is to maintain safety for you and their staff during these rough times with the current pandemic. If this is something that could be a a deal breaker I just wanted to make anyone considering this place aware. However you can definitely trust your pet in their care. You are always welcome to call and receive updates and they will always reach out to you with any questions and explanation of services in detail. All of the vets here at this animal hospital take great care of their patients (pets) and are very considerate of the owners. 5-stars I highly recommend. ????????

I was very disappointed that they fail to inform the required vaccines for a grooming appointment. When I arrived at the vet, they told me that I need to get vaccines which total costs $80. I was very shocked to learn that I need flu vaccine due to lack of the second boost and bordetella vaccine. They simply told me that bordetella vaccine is expired in 6 months even it is valid for a year. They did not tell me prior to the appointment. I go to different vet because I live far away. If I knew there were vaccines I need prior to the appointment, I would have gone to my vet to do so because it is cheaper. The lack of communication was very unprofessional. I just come here for my favorite groomer. I called my vet and they told me that they forgot to tell me to come back for the second boost....Also, my vet told me that bordetella is valid for a year but some boarding or grooming place has a policy to do it every 6 months. It was very confusing because all creatures small animal hospital told me it was expired. It was not expired. Their policy simply required to do it every 6 months. The staff was in fact very friendly and seems nice, but I wish they informed me about vaccine requirements ahead of time. Two miscommunications from all creatures and my vet are occurred and led to this issue....My review is nothing about their vet skills and techniques. Simply, I was just so sad and shocked that I was not informed about requirements and they simply charged me extra...

The people are nice , but I took my exotic animal there for me to spend over a 100 dollars and my pet is still having issues , and they gave me medicine for him and still not working ... maybe it helped a little bit.. but I’m going to get a second opinion, not to say this business isn’t good just maybe not for my fury baby !! But I’ll still recommend them to friends and family!!!

As a veterinarian myself, I can recognize when I’m out of my depths with my exotic pet, a leopard gecko. Dr. Bassett and team have been tremendous in helping me whenever I have issues with him. The staff is friendly, attentive, and informative. They’ve always done a fantastic job making sure I can get in for an appointment and always ensure they provide timely communication. I’d recommend All Creatures to anyone in the area looking for a professional, knowledgeable, and friendly veterinarian and team!

I love this place. Dr. Bassett is the absolute best vet I've ever dealt with. They offer reasonable prices for multiple pets, and great exotics care. When I brought my guinea pigs in for their first checkup, it was in the middle of the COVID shutdown, and the staff went out of their way to keep providing a good experience for me and my pigs. Dr. Bassett could only talk to me on the phone, but she made sure to address any questions or concerns I had. This week one of my piggies broke his leg, and I had to take him to the Gladstone clinic (all of the local clinics were fully booked), and they charged a ton, but the only solutions they offered were amputation or pain meds & prayer. I brought him here for a second opinion. The Gladstone vet wouldn't send the xray here, but All Creatures cut me a very reasonable deal; they only charged me for the knockout gas, not the actual xray. Dr. Bassett was booked in surgeries all day, and literally made time in the little time she had between operations to examine and xray him, splint his little leg and talked me through his care. He's doing really well now! We don't know yet how it will heal, but he hasn't chewed the splint and is acting normally. I'm so grateful to have a vet and a clinic that cares so much about me and my pigs. UPDATE: Everything healed perfectly! The staff and Dr. Bassett were so kind and helpful and took amazing care of him. This is the only vet clinic I'm using from now on.

I felt it was important for others to know all experiences and let other possible future clients know. I want to be fair so I will list the facts as I had at that time. I had an apt with Dr. Courtney Bassett DVM for an exam on my dog to check out a lump. The exam was $55 and that is what I signed to pay for. I inquired about how much a nail trim was? The tech said dog would need to have record of shots to do nails. I was a new client I did not have that info with me yet. Since there protocol was needing shots there was only going to be the office visit today. I would think that anything in addition Id been asked prior in a none emergency situation. I did also communicate I would want to know prior if there would be any other cost and not to do anything unless I knew past the exam. I was assured they would. When I got my dog back I then got a bill for $79 they said they went ahead and did the nail trim? I was a bit thrown, I didn't agree to this but since they had already done it I had to pay for this. This was STRIKE 1: They gave me the detailed break down of the cost of the surgery she would need to have. I discussed with the vet my situation and asked questions, but nothing in this conversation was there information about doing vaccinations a day of a surgery compromises the immune system? I found this out by another two vets that I know well but do not live her anymore and one whom was an instructor that the college they go there degree from. It was suggested that it would be a good idea to get the shots 10-14 days prior to the surgery as a precaution. So literally the very next morning after I had had my apt the previous evening I called to get the shots done 10 -14 days prior and then schedule the surgery for after that. I asked to speak to the vet which I never was able to I had two different assistants call, I tried to explain the new information I had found out and why which is for the benefit of the animal. I asked would I then be charged again for another office visit since I was just in last night? and I was able to have come in the following or as soon as they could get me in. The assistant explained that since they would have to do another exam for these shots they would "have " to charge me. This seemed a bit much. I understand liability, but this doesn't make sense to charge me again when I was just in the day prior and was not told this and I would be coming in for the surgery after the 10-14 and spending $1000. I was then told the exam day of surgery was included so basically I would be paying for 3- office visits. I would absolutely understand "IF" the vet had explained that it might be better to get them before the surgery and why? THAT changes everything. And the fact I called next day to get in. IF you must do the exam do it but don't charge again. I called several other vets and there exam was included in this and was as little as $39- 65 and this was the whole shebang the exam and the shots = this. Makes me not trust esp when they did a service I did not authorize. The response was I am sorry you are upset but we HAVE to charge because it is required to do an exam with a rabies vaccine, but Is it law to CHARGE the patient, when you just saw them. I planed to do all my services with them? Wouldn't you think they want that too. The $55 was more important. I have2 great Danes and other little dogs? BAD Biz in my opinion, not informing & Vet not calling me to discuss the new questions etc maybe she had a different perspective which Id love to have heard but was unable to speak to the vet? This wasn't just a billing question. If I cant talk to the vet who I am suppose to trust with my beloved dog and the person whom I am paying my money to then there is a HUGE Concern. They have a right to run there business however they see fit but I feel its important for others to hear you may agree or disagree. The owners of the BIZ and VET should have been involved to resolve.

This is the best place we have ever taken our animals! Both Dr's. Bassett and Dunn are fabulous and truly care about their patients. It's a bit of a drive for us, but it's very much worth it!

Brought my Chinchilla, Hubert, here for the first time with a suspected ear infection. It turned out I was right and it was a simple infection. The staff was extremely kind and very professional. The vet gave me ear drops and proper instructions on how use them to clear the infection. She also recommended I take him back to his old diet. And just as I was told, the infection cleared within a week! My buddy is back to his old self and happy and healthy as ever!

We have a spotted leopord gecko we've had for 8 years. Only one time did I have to intervene in his care with my son because he didn't seem healthy. All worked out...until now. Dr. Dunn knew exactly what was wrong and how to treat our Rex. Anyone who knows Cody know how much he loves this little guy. Rex should weight about the 65-70 paperclips. He weights 49grams. We were not shamed b/ lc isof his low weight, we were not told we werent caring for him well...in fact Dr. Dunn said the opposite. She could tell we adore him, he just needed some help eating. So...we get to syringe feed him 3-4 times a day for the next 7-10 days. I love this!! We soak him too and help his skin soften and rehydrate. What a blessing Dr. Dunn and her staff are. If you have a reptile that needs help...this is the clinic to go to.
