I have taken my cats to FAH for years and the care was always top-notch. The vets not only spend time with you when you bring your pet in, they also are available via phone if you have questions or aren't sure whether the problem is serious enough for an in-office visit. Not only that, I have been able to bring my cat first thing in the morning (I work in Farmington but live in Ironton) and leave her there, then pick her up after work. I greatly appreciate this, as it means I don't have to take hours from work. Last year, I tried another local vet I had been told was less expensive. I couldn't leave my cat there, they were behind both times I brought her, and the vet was condescending and rude in response to the concerns I expressed to her. I knew that I would be returning to FAH for my pets from that point forward, and my most recent experience simply confirmed that. They were so caring about my Xena's recently developed limp, offered a diagnosis, and didn't order a bunch of unnecessary tests that probably would have stressed her out. Plus you can tell they LOVE working with your pets. I will never go anywhere else...they may be a bit pricier than other places, but let me assure you...they are WORTH IT.

All three of our dogs receive care there. We've been extremely happy with the hospital, vets, and staff since our first visit. I highly recommend them.

I've taken both my dogs (soon to be a third) for several years now. The vets and staff are caring and professional, it's obvious they love what they do. I never have trouble getting an appointment, never feel rushed when I take my dogs in. The doctors are great at taking their time and answering my questions, explaining everything I need to know. 100% recommend.

Just went to the groomer in the animal hospital.But both are good. My experience.

We had to put our dog to sleep. Her health deteriorated quickly over the last 2 weeks. We got a next day appointment for this. The veterinarian was wonderful and compassionate and I really appreciated everything she did for us.

These are very good and caring veterinarians. We had a cat that was having some problems and our prior vet would not do testing we took her here and within 10 to 15 minutes we found out her problem that she was a diabetic. Also we had a dog that was having ear issues and our previous same vet said that it was just she was overweight, we took her also to this vet and find out that she had a bad ear infection. So we are very very happy with this veterinarianand would highly recommend them.

I’m very comfortable taking my dog to Farmington Animal Hospital. The wait time is minimal. The waiting room and exam rooms are clean. The front desk staff is very helpful when I call with a question or problem. The doctors and techs are very knowledgeable and helpful. They seem to really care about the animals. I have been taking my pets to Dr. Jen Maloney at Farmington Animal Hospital for years. Her kindness and professionalism not only puts my mind at ease, but makes it a more pleasant experience for my dog as well. She and Dr. Jamie Johnson treat you and your pet as family. The staff is top notch!

Very impressed with this facility!! We recently moved to Farmington and used another clinic for our dog. Recently adopted kittens and the agency recommended Farmington Animal Hospital. Due to COVID they are curbside only which made me nervous (but I completely understand why!). One kitten was pretty sick and the vet took the time to call me and go over everything with me. We must have been on the phone for a while.. all of my answers and concerns were answered. We had to take one of our other kittens back and the other vet serviced us. She was great as well. I am now going to exclusively use this clinic for all of our animals. It's right off one of the main roads in Farmington and each time they've gone out of their way to squeeze us in.

Very nice and friendly. Can tell they love their job. They understand what your going through when you bring in a sick animal. I have an older dog Goliath who is blind in one eye. Thankfully I was able to cancel his surgery to remove his right eye, because thanks to his Dr there, she suggested these eye drops and his eye has improved so I was able to cancel his surgery. Plus, he is 14 and worry he may not survive being under so long.

I have been taking my dogs to the Farmington Animal Hospital for many years now (25+ years). All the front desk staff are very helpful and friendly when I have a question or need something for my dogs. The techs are very good at what they do and treat my dogs as their own. I also board my dogs there and feel at ease knowing they are in good hands. Dr. Monnig was my dogs’ vet for many years until she retired. After that, Dr. Maloney became my dogs’ vet. I’m very impressed with her professionalism. She goes the extra mile to help me when my dogs have a problem. I have a little guy that had a birth defect that was corrected by a hospital in St. Louis. This was before I adopted him. He recently had some high results on the tests that she ran. She went the extra mile to get to the root of the problem by contacting the surgeon who did the operation and discussed the issue with him to find out what options we have. Instead of just treating him with drugs, etc., she wanted to know if more tests need to be done on him or another operation to correct the problem. I was so grateful she did this for me. I’ve known most of the staff for many years; so much so they feel like family to me.

We love the vets and staff there. They're all very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The facility is extremely clean, and prices are right.
