We routinely use 4-legged kids in the st louis area and they've always been great for pet sitting when we travel. They're highly communicative, the sitters clearly love animals, and they've been flexible when things have changed on our end (we once had a cat that started needing medication after we'd initially booked, for example).

We highly recommend this company for its great people and great service. I've been especially grateful for the good communication and (a frustration with another company that had a minimum # of days for servce) the ability to book just a couple days at a time. Our usual sitter, Cat, cares for our pets like they're her own - we can tell from the daily pictures that they're totally comfortable with her. She responds well to any little problems, and sends great daily updates, keeping us relaxed while we have to be away. Melanie is incredibly responsive and proactive, too. The website is user-friendly, and (after a little bit of setup) it couldn't be easier to schedule visits and pay invoices.

I was a veterinarian in the Wildwood area up until October 2021 (recently relocated to the KC area). I used the 4-Legged Kids crew to watch my 5 cats and 2 crazy dogs and all I have to say is that this is the best pet-sitting team I've ever had. I always received reports and pictures of my animals so I knew they were ok. They were great at giving my crazy dog Mia her medications and if anything didn't seem right to them they were quick to contact me to ensure Mia got the right meds. I can't say enough great things about Melanie & Miranda - other than I wish I had them here in Kansas City to continue to spoil my animals when I am out of town. Best team, best value, best care for my mini zoo. I miss these ladies so much already!!

I know my cats are in good hands with 4 Legged Kids! It is a huge relief to know they are getting the same level of care that I provide. Since using 4 Legged Kids, I no longer have to stress about leaving my cats for a few days and I always come home to happy cats. I'm not even sure they miss me!

We have a highly-traumatized rescue dog. Unfortunately, she can never go to doggie daycare. Instead, 4-Legged Kids gives The Love of Our Lives a walk twice a week. Over the years, we've had three different professionals, and each one has bonded with our little girl! It is simply a miracle to see how excited she is to spend time with our 4-Legged Kids professional. Truly, it is a gift! Additionally, we have three cats. 4-Legged Kids takes care of them when we go out of town. We especially appreciate receiving daily photos of the kitties when we are gone, because we miss them so much! And we really love that they bring in the mail and paper for us, too. Janie and Melanie kept up with my crazy schedule (including frequent airline delays) and the team provided overnight stays and daily visits. I have been using 4-legged kids for my puppy. They are so kind and patient with him and his crazy puppy antics! I know he is in good hands with the most caring people when they come to visit him. Additionally, the photos they send to me when I am at work absolutely make my day. They are also flexible with scheduling and work wonderfully with my nurse schedule. I am so happy I found them!

Communication is excellent. I scheduled at the last minute ( my fault ) and they were very accommodating. Love how they send you pics of your pups while they are caring for them.

The team takes good care of my cat Sofia. I adopted her last year and she doesn’t interact too much with strangers - she’s sort of a one-person kitty. I felt terribly guilty about leaving her alone for a week when I have been her nearly constant companion for a year. But the 4-Legged Kids team assured me that they would take good care of her and they did. I have taken a couple of trips now and I always get progress reports and pictures. Shy Sofia even comes out and visits with the sitters when they come now. I feel very comfortable using this service and I feel less guilty when I plan my future vacations!
