We've been bringing our dog to Heritage for over 16 years. Even after we were no longer around the corner from the office, and it would have been more convenient to use someone closer to our new home, we continued to come. As his health deteriorated and the visits were more frequent I was extremely grateful that I remained. There was never a time that I questioned his treatment or their sincerity. As I struggled for over a year with my fur baby's deteriorating condition, they supported me and answered my endless questions with loving care and kindness. In comparing my experience with those of friends in similar circumstances, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that entrusting his care to Heritage was the best decision I ever made.

I had an emergency situation with my dog and all of the staff did a tremendous job. Everyone was professional and courteous and treated my dog like it was their own. So Thankful for people like them!!!

We have been going to heritage veterinary hospital for 15 years through five dogs. Our golden retriever ‘Trip’ broke his toe nail and had to have surgery. During the consultation I asked to have his other toes to be trimmed and the vet tech said “that’ll be extra”. We have spent thousands of dollars there and seen quite a number of vets and they want to charge us extra to trim his toenails. That was a $700 surgery and they can’t even trim his toenails for us. Dr. Urday at Heritage truly saved my dog from months of suffering. We had been putting our trust (and lots of $$) into another vet to treat an issue with our dog for almost 8 weeks straight. The problem wasn't getting any better but the vet dismissed our concerns telling us to keep doing what we were told, even though Cooper was miserable. We finally decided something wasn't right and we needed a second opinion. My dog improved within 24 hours of his new treatment program at Heritage! I am so happy we were referred to this vet. The receptionist that scheduled his appt was also very warm and caring & they checked it on his progress the next day. Cooper is finally getting back to his old self and is so much happier and finally comfortable in his own skin again. Thank you!!

I can’t express enough how Heritage Veterinary Hospital went above and beyond in their service, especially during these strange times of COVID-19. After using Humane Society for all our well kitty care we found ourselves in an emergency situation and ended up at the emergency vet and needed to find a vet for follow up care. After spending hours on the phone with other area vets I finally ended up calling Heritage. They actually answered the phone, listened to my situation and were willing to help. They fit our kitty in for an emergency follow up and bandage change, the mass that the emergency vet found was then removed within the following couple of days. Dr. Sanford called after the procedure not once but twice to make sure we understood everything and to check on our pet. Outstanding service and care, from the receptionist, staff and dr.!

I really can't say enough about the people who work here and the care they gave my dog and myself. I travel all over the country for work and I wish I could bottle this place up and bring them with me. My partner and I just moved to the area in July and we’ve been using the same groomer back in Nashville for our boy for at least five years, so leaving her back home was really sad for us. His first nail trim and grooming experience was a little traumatic for him so once we found a groomer he loved, it was a bummer to leave. It was important for me to find a Fear Free Certified grooming facility so I’m really glad I found Heritage on their website. Initially when we arrived in St. Louis I made an appointment with another big local groomer and they cancelled on us at the last minute twice, so Ru was WELL past due for a groom and nail trim. I dropped him off in the morning for his appointment with Lydia and everybody in the grooming area was so nice and welcoming. He was ready just a few hours later and picking him up was a breeze. His nails have always been a bit long since we got him, but these were the shortest that anybody has ever managed to get them AND she got both of his rear dewclaws (everybody always misses his secondary dewclaw). The rest of his groom was great too but nails are always what I judge on. He’s now home and tuckered out from playing in the groom room all morning, and we’ll absolutely be getting regular grooming and nail trims at Heritage from now on. This makes me feel really great about the facility and we’ll absolutely be using their veterinary services as well when it’s time. Big shout out to Lydia, he might not have been terribly stressed but I was. Thanks for taking care of my fuzzy friend.

I have been going here since I moved from Atlanta in late July, only a few months ago.. I have only seen Dr. Manse once each for both of my dogs. My dog recently passed, and I received a great letter from all staff and additional support through a personal phone call from Dr. Manse, whom I know is busy. These people provide the highest quality of expertise, and even more importantly provide the highest quality of CARE. Thank you.

Incredibly genuine staff who thoroughly answered ALL of my questions. Entire staff was compassionate, knowledgeable and competent. Didn't sit waiting forever...was taken 10 minutes BEFORE my appointment time! Staff were on top of their job and worked proactively with the Dr. Office was clean and new. Location was super easy to find. The even offered me something to drink when I arrived! I felt kind of like I was at a spa by the treatment and attention given to us by the staff! You would expect to pay top dollar for service like this...but the price was Sooooo reasonable and affordable! I think Ive found my kids vet for life!

Great care for my very sick dog. She is doing so much better so far. The Vet and staff are excellent. Been taking my dogs there for years.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. Recently needed to have a dental procedure for my dog done which required putting her under anesthesia. I wouldn't trust anyone else. Heritage is often highly regarded when mentioned to other vets/pet services as well.

I HIGHLY recommend Heritage for new puppy owners! I just recently started going to Heritage ever since we got our new fur baby and they have been nothing but amazing! Dr. Claire Manse is seriously the best! Of course being a new dog mom I have a million questions and worry about everything and she is always very responsive and answers all of my questions. The staff is always super sweet as well. A lot of my friends are getting dogs as well and I tell them they absolutely need to go here :)

They have a Very kind and caring staff. The doctor was very friendly and thorough with explaining everything, and they don't keep you waiting! They are a bit of a drive for me, but I'm pretty sure I'll be using their services again!

Everyone here is fantastic! I am recommending everyone who is looking for a fantastic place to take their pets. I have no complaint everyone here is so loving and really do care about what they do! Winston is always so happy when he comes to visit!

Very friendly, informative staff!! My visit was quick and they communicated well. Also, my cat was previously feral and they really worked with me to make the visit smooth for her. She had never been in a kennel before, but they prescribed sedatives and handled her with great care. She did great during her visit! I’m grateful for the service and the awesome staff.

I have been trying to find a new veterinary clinic to take my dog to because she has this rash that she has had since a puppy and every other time I would take her to a doctor everything they would prescribe would only help for a short amount of time and my first experience with Heritage Animal hospital was amazing! They answered all of my questions, helped understand the plans they have as well as the medications, and not only do they care about our dogs they care about us! I highly recommend them! They helped my dog and I to find a solution to her problem in a timely manner and it was not as expensive as other places are!

Best in the business hands down. I so appreciate Heritage Veterinary and everything their team has done to help my dogs in need. Compassionate, understanding and honest would be an understatement when describing them. Their ability to provide care in any situation has left me awestruck and I cannot thank them enough. Their prices are very fair, but I would even pay double to keep coming here. They are absolutely worth it. I came to the clinic for their quick appointment times and stayed for their professionalism, fast responses and comfort. I truly believe my dog receivesp the best care in all of St. Louis when I bring him in for checkups

I had an issue with my Pomeranian who has several health issues when I was away from my regular Vet. Dr. Long was able to get me in right away and took care of my little baby, the entire staff was so wonderful! I could not have been happier! What a wonderful experience, thank you all!!
