PetSmart Chesterfield, Missouri

I have always had a good experience at this petsmart. The only negative I am going to say is the last time I was there the aquariums needed to be cleaned. It was never that was previously. I purchased an adorable little parakeet when I was there. The cages were clean and the birds were all very healthy. I chose this little guy because he seemed to like me. He followed me around the cage. He is so happy with his new home. His name is Arly

I’m absolutely disgusted by maintenance of the cages of rodents. the cages looked like they haven’t been cleaned for months. the deplorable conditions the animals are living in are horrific. I cannot imagine the animals are healthy when they are in a cage full of waste and grime.

I've been working crazy hours and needed food for my animals, showed up to the store just after 7 on Sunday, and it was closed. I was so bummed but the manager was nice enough to let me buy them food. They were very happy!!! And full!!! Thank you.

The store sells refrigerated cat food that has been expired for 8 months! Someone's pet can die from eating this!! We called the product consumer like to conrirm, and they told is that it's absolutely expired and should be discarded immediately. The store "manager" Stephanie said it's the merchandizer's fault for not checking the expiration date. I understand that the product can be expired for 2-3 weeks, but for 8 months??? This store is manages by completely irresponsible people. I'll be calling their corporate office because this needs a serious investigation.

My mom took her dog Mitzie there the other day and she called me in near tears!! She asked specifically to leave her eye lashes alone and the groomer cut them off. They shaved her face and they were asked not to. The manager told my mom that she had a few spots of matting. I am a groomer and I JUST saw my Mom's dog and she was NOT matted but had a few knots. The biggest issue was the complete shave of her face and cutting her eyelashes off and the total lack of listening. If She needed her body and face needed to be shaved then a phone call should have been made or it should have been made clear BEFORE my mom left from dropping her dog off. My Mom and her dogs will NOT be returning.

We were in your store on Saturday, May 22nd. We had a 25% off entire purchase coupon from Pets Supplies Plus. My bill came to $121.00 and I was told that your store will NOT honor my competitors coupon. I told the cashier, that I've used competitors coupons in the store previously. He then checked with a supervisor (woman) and she said it depends on the coupon. We chose not to buy the items and went to Pets Supplies Plus. To say the least, you've lost our business over poor customer service!!!

I am a Petsmart fan, they have the products I use and have good prices.

Went in to get a harness for our new puppy and the staff was not very helpful and not responsive. We were wandering the store trying to find certain items for our dog and several staff members passed us but never offered help, never wanted to see our puppy. When going to checkout the employees looked like they would rather be anywhere else but there. Didn’t seem the least bit interested or eager to help. Normally I expect friendliness and eagerness to help us get settled with our new puppy. We received none of that. I know it doesn’t do much but we won’t be returning here. Going somewhere else with better, friendlier service.

the person in charge of fish gave my all the wrong information and told me the wrong types of fish i can group together and many died in the first week when i did everything else correctly. dead fish everywhere, no space for them, and extremely terrible water conditions

Contacted this store to inquire about their availability of a particular fish. The automated line said that the fish department was “not a valid choice.” I pressed “0” for an operator. I asked about availability and was told by a male that “WE DON’T do inventory checks!” I asked to be transferred to the fish department. He huffed as if I was bothering him and placed me on a 10 minute hold. After hanging up, I called back. A very nice lady who answered visited the fish department and told me how many fish that I needed, were in stock. She apologized immensely. We were going to visit to buy them, but were ultimately turned off after our initial call. I won’t be shopping there and Petsmart should seriously consider their choice of front facing customer service reps. If he is answering the phone, I’m sure he has turned off many customers with his attitude.

They keep the items i need in stock and they give me coupons and rewards. They are always friendly too!

I did not know that this Petsmart location did not have prescription cat food available. I was in this neighborhood and thought I would stop by and buy this food for my cat. Services and products not available. Waste of time.

Very clean, good (although not exhaustive) selection of products and still offering the opportunity to adopt furry companions (see pictures). We've been blessed with the love of a pair of bonded kitty sisters who we adopted at this PetSmart over 16 years ago.

good place to get animals from

Petsmart Chesterfield Missouri-----Dead fish in nearly every tank. Algae lining the tanks. Just grotesque. This place isn't cared for at all. I thought Manchester was bad. This place tops it. Shameful! Update: went back 2 weeks later and its worse if that is possible. Looked like about a 55 gallon tank with less than a half inch of water WITH FISH IN IT!!!! Abusing these fish horribly. Place smelled like something died in it..probably all of the fish they are killing with neglect The board of health needs to step in. See photos.

Always a good time here, my niece had her first time in a store in awhil3 and I let her get the cats and our dog a toy.

I came in to purchase a second male chinchilla. I had recently purchased one 2 1/2 weeks prior and knew we would want another. We had the first one checked at the Vet and he got a clean bill of health. I planned to wait until January, but why prolong the inevitable.

Although I'm not a fan of the small animals in cages they are always well taken care of with clean bedding, food and fresh water. Offer great deals on pet foods and the staff is incredibly friendly.

Took my 105 lb Great Pyrenees in for a bath yesterday at the store in Chesterfield Valley, Mo. Heather, his groomer, did an outstanding job. She put in hours and a lot of effort bathing and brushing him. She worked past closing time to finish. Took home a 'brand new' sweet smelling, fluffy white dog. Kudos to Heather.

Best place to get all of you new puppy or older dog supplies!! We brought our new puppy with us and she had such a fun time! They had everything we needed and a coupon book that helped us save a ton of money.

Whoever is running the fish department at this store needs to be fired. It's downright criminal. Almost all the bettas are gasping in water that is so cloudy that many have already died. Nearly every tank is cloudy with dead fish rotting unnoticed in their tanks. It's a shame.
