Dog Spot Pet Grooming Ridgeland, Mississippi

Took my dog here they are the worst groomers. Had to find owner he thought he had already given my dog 2 hrs later I get my dog in a dark room after getting dog in the light he was cut to pieces . I've had to pay for lotion and antibiotics to help the healing process .I wouldn't send any animal here somebody should wear a hidden cam anvestagate this place and put it on channel 3. My dog will never be on county lime rd again

If I could give this place a (-) ratings, I would! Please don’t take your fur babies here. My little girl smelled like a fish market as well as cut marks on her. She has never had this happen at PetSmart. I wouldn’t take a stray dog here. They are beyond unprofessional. I was harassed about picking up my fur baby 5-10 mins after I received a “ready for pick up” text message. I assume they were going to sell her and claim she ran away like I have seen in other reports?

I picked my dog up and he was severely plugged on his genital area. Now we have to take our dog to the vet to get his wounds looked at because they’re not healing quickly. I also asked them to leave his hair on the top of his long but they cut that anyway. I don’t know who he has helping him, but it’s obvious they know nothing about pet grooming. They just ran the clippers up & down my dog with regard to his skin. Tried to support black own businesses and this is the quality of service they provide. I am highly upset and disappointed at them. Now my dog is traumatized of going to the groomer. Would not recommend to anyone.

We have been going to Dog Spot for roughly two years and have always been very pleased. However, we took our sweet baby girl Yorkie in last Friday (3/13/20), and when we picked her up, her stomach was completely covered with severe razor burn. She had a big place on her stomach where the skin was rubbed off, another spot on her thigh that was missing skin, as well as a spot on her leg. This led to a $135 vet visit, and two shots. It’s now 6 days later, and although she is better, she still isn’t normal. She doesn’t want to eat or drink and doesn’t play. Just lies on couch, which is SO not her typical behavior. We are heartsick over this. It should never have happened.

Not going to lie when you first walk in it doesn't look like much. But when I picked up my baby he looked so good!!! Way better than paying $200 at Petco! I like my golden retriever to look at certain way & he did it spot on!

Took my dog in for a bath and the son owner stole my dog and told me to take him to court because he had insurance to cover things like this please for your love one safety don’t TAKE THEM TO THE DOG Groomer Ridgeland Ms they steal your loved one ......

My baby was looking nice. I couldn't get pets mart to groom him because they said they couldn't get him to cooperate but dog spot had me pleased

I picked my baby up had to take him to the vet a few days later my dog had fleas!!!!

Do not bring your dog here!! They are cruel to their dogs. Jackson has so many great and loving groomers. This is not one of them.

Good at what they do!

Do not take your dog here if you care for your dog. If I could give this business a negative star, I would. Eddie absolutely butchered my dog—-I am not talking about a bad haircut, I am talking about wounding the dog. Multiple cuts and open wounds and razor burn that necessitated veterinary treatment. He delivered our dog to us and didn’t mention any issues. We saw them after we got home and have had to go to the vet. Eddie offered a free grooming next time. That doesn’t fix what he did, pay the vet bills or make our dog feel any better after more than a week. There will not be a next time and if you care for your dog, there should not be a first time for you. A bad haircut is one thing but maiming your dog is more than that. Avoid this place at all costs.

I just went there today 8/10/19 and my baby has a very bad burn or cut that is very red and irritated! They said my dog “is curious” and mr Edward also said “he learn his lesson today “ meaning they wanted to hurt my fur baby!! He is very small I don’t see how he could have cost so many problems! Great price and amazing job

The service was excellent.. Tim took care of our Bella. He did everything I asked him to do and was very cautious due to bad services at other places. The only reason I didn't do 5 stars is b/c of the fish odor when you walk in the door. My puppy even smelled like fish after her grooming.

Eddie does an awesome job. I am an American Bully breeder and he takes care of all my puppies and big dogs. He pays attention to each dog and doesn't rush through. I have gone out of town and lefta few with him and the dogs act like they don't want to come home. I will recommend Eddie at Dog Spot anyday.

Beautiful place.....I would recommend anyone who has a pet to stop here!!!!!You wouldn't be disappointed!!!!!!

To be honest when I first walked in I thought this place was going to be horrible!!! There were dogs EVERYWHERE from the moment you walked in. One man came in and told the dogs calmly and loudly to “be quiet” and they did! Mr. Eddie then took each of my dogs and grinded their nails. They were quick, efficient, and I had one of the weirdest but best experiences! Thank you Dog Spot!

They did an awesome job grooming my dog, but they charged a whole lot more than the surrounding groomers in the area. Also, my dog was acting lethargic after the grooming. My dog acted as if he was given a pill. That may not have been the case, but my dog wasn't acting like himself for a whole day. My dog acted strange the whole day. Also, there's a gym next door, and when the people open their car doors, going to work out it smells like marijuana in the air. I won't be going back to this groomer due to the surrounding location/environment , price, and my dog acting strange after the grooming.

I love mr Eddie and he always make time for me when I call. He does a great job, and my ebony loves him too.
