Great clinic, professional from the time you step in the door. Dr Payne is an absolute jewel. He truly cares for the animals and it shows with the care he provides. We had to use him on a Sunday for an emergency visit for our lab who ingested a sock. We drove an hour away and honestly would drive it every time to see him because he truly is the best and we appreciate the care that he provides. He is knowledgeable and quick to the point and no run arounds about the diagnosis. Thank you again Oxford clinic staff and Dr Payne for being the absolute top notch clinic! Hate the circumstances surrounding how we found you but so glad we did!

It was an emergency on a Sunday evening. Dr. Payne met me at the clinic. After x rays n tests; it was discovered that my Tommy had issues with his kidneys. I called them Monday morning and they also called me after hours and he seemed to be doing a little better. I missed a call at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday morning. When I returned their call, the girl who answered said she would get Dr. Payne on the phone. Tommy has passed. I appreciate that Dr. Payne told me himself. I later went by and Dr. Payne spoke with me and consoled me. I was crying and trying to pay my bill. They were nice and told me they would get back with me about the bill. They suggested Coleman Pet Services and gave me a pamphlet. They were wonderful in my time of loss and need.

We have been bringing our dogs here for quite sometime now and have always been treated so nicely and my dogs have always been given the best care and with a gentle loving touch. We have experienced this vet office with the joys of our dogs and with the unforeseen bad with our dogs and they have ALWAYS been so kind to both our dogs and us. They always treat us like family (better than) and take their time to explain and make us feel comfortable. Would recommend to anyone!!!

I love the service our mini schnauzers receive from the animal clinic staff and the vets. I highly recommend the animal clinic. They have always treated us like family and that's important to us as our dogs are our family.

Over many years and a few dogs we've had great experiences with several excellent vets. But none have come close to care and professionalism we've come to know at Animal Clinic. We know Drs Wilson and Heaton best but any care provided by others at the practice has been exemplary. Our dogs are getting old now, they'll need more attention but we know you all will take care of them. My sincere thanks and see you soon for shots!

Staff is very kind and efficient! If you have any questions they will take the time to explain everything and make sure you know exactly what's going on. My cat stayed two nights and they updated me each day, plus the bill was super inexpensive for the hospitalization! I highly recommend this clinic.

They used to be more welcoming. They now tell you they are busier than they can handle and give you a number for you to wait outside. It seems that they are in no hurry to get to you. I trust them as veterinarians. But I won’t go back. And yes I agree I’d recommend you make it clear what you want done lest you get a bill that includes things you never gave them permission to do.

Met Dr. Ryan there on Sunday so he could work on my dog chollie for a bad snake bite.Dr.ryan was nuthing less than a professional gentleman.he handled chollie well an kept us updated on him while in recovery.i also felt as if they had charged me a tolerable amount.was well pleased with them .

This clinic is one of the best places I've been to. Since the pandemic I've had to take my lovely baby there a few times, mostly for check-ups/medication refills and the staff has always been super nice. Prices are reasonable and the location is very accessible. Very quick service when needed. If I wasn't moving soon then I would consider them to be my permanent vet clinic!

I've taken my pets here for the past few years. When visiting for my dogs nail trimming, I was told they were due for annual vaccinations. I okay'd as my dogs were brought in while I waited in my car (curbside). I was shocked to see a $400+ vet bill. The nail trimming was complimentary but shot boosters, fecal examination, heart worm checkup, office visit ($40 per dog) was tacked on. When asking customers, from their vehicle, about annual vaccinations - during a pop in visit - I feel that additional examinations (fecal/heartworm) should be disclosed. From my perspective, you assume that is just the booster shots. Customers, please ask Animal Clinic upfront about costs before allowing your pet to go in without you. I feel that I was taken advantage of as I was in my car and uninformed about the exams/unable to stop them from being performed while my pet was inside. Will not be returning.

I took my 8 week old puppy up there who hadn’t ate in 2 days, and didn’t drink for 1 day. He had diarrhea and was inactive. We took him up there Saturday March 27th. They took him in and took some tests. They did not do a parvo test on him. The parasite test came back negative so they done another one. Well they sent us home with antibiotics and declared it a parasite. We started the antibiotics and he got worse Sunday and started vomiting Saturday night. We took him back up there Monday and then they done a parvo test and it came back positive. They kept him and he was about dead when we brought him up there and he died two days later. We called and tried to check on him and they wouldn’t give us any info and when we did they said he was doing good! Definitely don’t recommend this vet. Crossroads Animal Hospital is a lot better. Our other puppy got parvo after he died and they started treatments and she’s doing a lot better

The staff was super nice

Dr. Wilson is an angel and an absolute credit to veterinarians across the board. After a terrible experience with another vet and my cat in pretty awful shape, she came to the rescue and gave my cat the care and attention he truly needed in his time of need. If you need someone you can trust and that genuinely cares for your pet, specifically cats, she is the vet for you. Thank you for taking care of my baby and actually caring for his health. We are both grateful.

Im so thankful for the staff and doctors at this clinic. Dr.Redding and his staff took such excellent care of our Lab that was hit by a car. My regular vet refused to see our dog due to having a busy schedule. I called this office and they told me to bring him right away. The team meet me as soon as I pulled in and give him attention right away. Dr. Redding came out shortly and put me at ease. He had two broken legs. The cast guy Kevin was awesome and very patient with all my questions. Also had to call the after hours emergency line and the vet answered all my questions and again put me at ease. This will be my new regular vets office!!! The service I have received has been outstanding and worth every dollar spent! The Whitten Family is grateful to all that helped save our beloved Bo!

The folks at Animal Clinic of Oxford are the best! My pup is always taken care of when we go visit them thanks to their kind and attentive staff. Their curbside service during the COVID restrictions has been quick and effecient.
