Oakdale Animal Hospital Brandon, Mississippi

Oakdale is an outstanding veterinary hospital. Dr. Jason Gray has been our vet of choice since moving to the Jackson Metro. We have been through a lot with Oakdale having several aged dachshunds of our own and the occasional rescue. Dr. Gray has always been caring, honest and respectful. I don't think there is a better choice for your pet than Oakdale. All of the staff is top notch!

We had to use Oakdale Animal to put down our family dog during an emergency with no appointment. The way they handled everything was unbelievable. Carding, compassionate staff that made a horrible day much more bearable. Thank you.

Have always had good experiences here. All of the vets that we have interacted with here have been kind and wonderful with us and our pets. The staff is absolutely wonderful and they take care of our dogs so well. We will continue coming here as long as we are in the general area. Highly recommended.

This is the best place in the world to bring your pets. We have never had a vet clinic show so much care for our pets before. They take the time to talk with you about any concerns that you have and they dont try to rysh you in and out. Our boys are in such wonderful health and Oakdale is a big reason why. Dr. Gray is our vet, but we have had to see the others on occassion and ALL are perfectly qualified and so nice. Medical, dental, and boarding. We love our Oakdale family ❣

Just the kindest, most empathetic people here! Loved it!!! I was worried about feeling "judged" because we had fallen a little behind in some ways of caring for our dogs this past year & one ended up with an ear problem ????.....my husband & I are both essential workers & we all know how crazy the world's been, so work & home has been it, minus grocery trips, for the past year! But I didn't feel anything but understanding & concern from every employee we interacted with! My dog is VERY energetic, but not sure of new people & places, but they handled him SO well. Hopefully, HE will like them a little bit more at his follow up in 2 weeks!! ❤❤❤❤

All three of my babies (two cats and one dog) are taken care of by the Oakdale staff. We primarily see Dr. Blackwell. She is very kind and knowledgeable, and always takes her time when examining my pets and explaining my options. I had one of my cats have to stay with them for several days after a severe allergic reaction and Dr. Blackwell would call me at least once, if not twice, a day to update me on his progress and on our options. The front staff is always very nice, friendly, and accommodating. I’ve called before with an emergency and said “I’m coming right now” and they had the doctor up to date on the situation when I arrived. I’m very appreciative of the care the doctors and staff show to both their clients and the humans that care for them.

We have been using Dr. Sullivans practice for over 15 years now. They are always friendly, helpful, and care about your pets! Great local family owned and run business.

Dr. Sullivan and his staff are wonderful people. They saved my Persian cat, Prissy after trying to give birth to her kittens that ended up all being still born. And now the staff is trying to help us save a Charolais bull. Everyone at Oakdale Animal Hospital is very polite and they care deeply for each and every pet that enters their hospital. I would recommend them to anybody.

Very friendly, patient and accommodating! We took our puppy for his first check up and shots. It was very easy to get an appointment (same day actually) and the wait was not long. Highly recommend.

I only had interaction with the staff at the front desk.. These girls were THE nicest employees Ever. They are upbeat and try very hard to assist in your and your pets needs. The ONLY reason I gave a 4 is because I have not yet been in for an appointment with my pet. I simply showed up at the drive thru window. All questions were answered and the young lady at the window made things more comfortable considering the issue with my stray pet I had found with Wobbler's Syndrome

What can I say?? As usual with my very sensitive Touch&Go Drama Pom Gracie, I contact the staff & immediately get a response trying to get her in with her Fabulous Dr Gray! During the past 5yrs, I have seen 2 of the other Drs and they have been Wonderful in helping her. But there's a Special calmness when I can hand her over and say whatever you think Dr. Gray and know she's in the Best of Care! Highly Recommend Oakdale for our Furbabies!!!

Roxy was in a "fight" with a German Shepherd Tuesday afternoon. EVERYONE at Oakdale Animal Hospital was caring enough to let us in at closing time AND to treat her for 3 puncture wounds - 2 of which were to the bone! I think they put my dog at ease while treating her because she was no longer trembling when we left. I firmly believe this staff cares, TRULY CARES, for the health and wellbeing of their pat!

We had used Oakdale for years before moving out of Mississippi. We recently moved back to Mississippi and assumed we would get the same great service at Oakdale. On 3/12/19 we took our 2 small dogs there for a wellness check and vaccinations. Neither dog has had previous health issues. They gave Abby, our Bichon her shots and then took her out of the room to express her anal glands. Within a few minutes of returning Abby to the room Abby began having a seizure. They gave her a sedative and sent her home saying it was “probably stress related”. We took her home and the following day Abby began having more seizures and we rushed her to the emergency Vet in Flowood where she continued to have seizures every few hours. Not only did we not received a call from anyone at Oakdale to follow up, but they have failed to return many phone calls. Dr. Sullivan finally returned my 3rd call. We received a call on Friday 3/15/19 from the emergency clinic advising us there was nothing more they could do and Abby was put to sleep with our family present. I will never again use Oakdale veterinarian clinic as they clearly lacked concern for Abby after they collected the bill.

Well was not satisfied with the grooming didn’t look like they did anything to him no bath he smelled worse then when I took him in so will not be using them again
