Dog-Gone Fancy Northport, Mississippi

Chewy, our pampered and somewhat eccentric Yorkshire Terrier, absolutely loves the ladies at Dog-Gone Fancy. We’re pretty fond of them too. They do a great job with his hair and nails and all at a reasonable price. If your pooch is in need of some TLC and a great haircut I can’t recommend the skilled staff @ DGF enough.

The best place I can recommend for pet grooming. They are so nice and professional. Very good people and great with my dog.

The guys charged me $5 after I had accident that morning and I told him that I could make it because I had accident and then they said that toenails and they look like they don't

They have always done a good job on my 2 dogs and see to be good with the dogs...there have been places where they refused to go in so I think that says a lot!

Honestly I would not give this place any stars. For them to be a professional dog grooming company, it should not be a stretch for them to know to NEVER SHAVE A HUSKY. My husky had some matted hair on his hind haunches and we asked if they could shave those off. Instead, when I arrive to pick up my dob his entire body is shaved. That is truly completely ignorant of them. Will not be using their services again.

I have been bringing my pets to this groomer for as long as I can remember. They are so caring and compassionate. They always do a fantastic job. My babies love going to this salon; they get so excited to see everyone.

My dog came out looking the exact same way he did going in. I paid for a trim and they literally gave him a bath and sent him out the door. I could have done that myself at home. I will not be back! I do not recommend anyone waste their time and money. Now I need to go to a professional groomer and pay AGAIN.

Great job on our puppy.

Took my Yorkie to have her groomed with the intent to try a new groomer that is closer to home. Left instructions in writing not to shave or clip her too short. She came back looking fair, not as good as I have had with previous groomers. Price was reasonable. Upon arrival back at the house I noticed she kept licking her leg. Upon further investigation, I realized that they nipped her; assuming with clippers as there is no hair. Had they disclosed this it would not have been an issue.

My puppy ringo hates to get clean. But once I took him here every time I say time to get clean he jumps into the car. They treat my dog so well and everyone there is so nice and sweet. Let me tell you everyone should go her for there pets.

Scary place. Unfriendly people. Dirty. Strange. Cut the head of a friends dog and did not take responsibility! Should be shut down.

We’ve been using Dog-Gone Fancy for some time now & we are so happy we found them. They are incredible! We bounced around trying groomers forever, but the care they take for Charlie & level of workmanship are like no other in the Tuscsloosa/Northport area. I cannot say enough good things! ????????????????

AMAZING. I have a 14 year old Bichon that I've had since I was 8 years old, who has sensitive skin/allergies, and frankly looked and smelled disgusting when I brought her in for her first appointment here. She is usually good for groomers but always leaves and is depressed and upset the rest of the day, but when I picked her up she was super excited and has been running around playing all day! She obviously feels great, but she also looks amazing and smells incredible! Everyone at Dog Gone Fancy was really nice and knowledgable, and I've never seen grooming service so fast and well done in my life! Dropped Roxy off at 9, the latest drop off time, and they called to let me know she was almost done around 10:45. I appreciate the fact that they don't have the dogs sit waiting for their owners all day to get them. The prices are super reasonable and I will definitely be bringing Roxy back monthly to keep up her beauty regimen! Finally a place I am comfortable taking her to and dropping her off.
