This place has been great for me taking my dogs here and my Foster dog! They offer taking the weight, vaccinations, heart worm prevention along other things like nail trimmings. I like dr bell and dr Fischer because they spend time with you and will answer your questions.

I have been going to this vet since 1970. The care has alwaya been very good. A few minths ago when I took them for their yearly, I felt that they could not care in the least. I was also asking about a procedure and they were just really dismissive. And they never act like they know you. .

Best vet in the area

My cat went into labor and then got into trouble. Had to have emergency surgery. They got her in quickly. Staff was so sweet and made sure I knew what to do for the babies until mama cat woke up. Every one I met was very sweet and kind. Mama and babies all are doing great thanks to Fisher Animal Hospital!!

Staff were very friendly but the vet we had today summer Latham was just plain rude. Needs to learn better bedside manners.

Went in with a sick dog with no appointment they was real nice and said they could work me in if I wanted to wait Was not a long wait. They was very caring. I would recommend them to any one who needs a vet and the price was not bad at all. They really care about your pet. Very nice place to go clean and roomy. Separate waiting room for cats to make it better for owners so dogs don't scare them.

I would have given 5 stars because of the cost, quickness to accommodate, speedy response to email, & friendliness over the phone, BUT when my fur baby was returned to me, she struggled to breathe for the several hours it took to get her cooled down & hydrated, she wheezed for 2 days, & coughed up/vomited up pieces of the toy I specifically told the staff was for 1:1 time with a caregiver only & she could not be left alone with because she would eat it & choke on it. My son had to go back later to get her bedding; apparently they washed it because "she messed it up", although they didn't say how. Considering she hasn't had an accident in 6 years, I'm guessing she wasn't toileted appropriately or it was vomit from eating the toy. Unacceptable! When I tried to call and get to the bottom of it, of course no one could tell me what happened and I was repeatedly directed to leave a message for the vet. NEVER AGAIN!

This is going to be long, but it’s warranted. We have traveled for the past 3 years due to my husbands job. We’ve been in 4 states and different cities. We have had Vets in every place we stayed. Bar none, Fisher Animal Hospital was a good find! When a Veterinarian recommended them to us for boarding, we found out they were what we were looking for. They let us tour the kennels ahead of time. Not all facilities will. We loved this Vet Hospital and the boarding staff and facility. It’s clean and a nice newer building. Most importantly, our two German Shepherds, who are not friendly to strangers at first, ran to the staff at the following visits happy to see them. I knew when they didn’t care I was leaving them, they were happy there. They were always excited to go to Camp, as we called it. The staff was always happy to answer our text asking how they were doing. Veterinarians are top notch too and will work to make accommodations during time restraints or emergencies. My husband and I did TNR for the local shelter after discovering a feral colony, where we rented. That gets brownie points when a local Veterinarian helps out the Animal Shelter to make a difference for animals. They dedicated certain times for the feral cats. Dr. Fisher and his staff, are a great asset for the animal shelter. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. Our boys frequented the boarding facilities on several occasions. It was always nice to know that they were getting quality care and love from their kennel staff. We also were able to be worry free! So many mixed reviews, but as a person who worked at a Vet clinic for several years, I can spot a good one that cares about pets well-being. Not everyone can be satisfied unfortunately. For us it was a great experience several times over. We are pretty particular about our pets care. The only problem we had is they built this new building in a different location and our GPS would not take us there. Hopefully that is resolved for future clients.

EXTREMELY disappointed in the service I received today. I called last week to make an ultrasound appointment for my cat, when I first inquired about the appointment I specifically asked if I would be able to be with her WHILE she got her scan, I was told YES. Yesterday they called to ask if I would be okay with another vet doing the scan, I said yes and once again asked if I would be able to be with her while she got her scan and again, I was told YES. I get there this morning and they told me that I wouldn’t be able to be back there with her. I told the tech that I was told on the phone both times that I could be with her and he told me they could only give me pictures. Had I been told over the phone the first time that I wasn’t going to be able to be with her, I wouldn’t have made the appointment on the first place. I’m not asking to be present during major surgery, I wanted to be there to help comfort her during her scan and I was blatantly lied to over the phone two separate times. Very very disappointed, I was hoping to find a new closer to home, but looks like I’ll continue driving to Leighton to see Dr. Harris.

Fisher Animal hospital is truly the best place for my furry children. I know they are in good hands at Diggs Pet Resort. The receptionists are friendly and efficient. Dr. Barrett is amazing with my fur babies.

Our first visit was today 5/29..the staff and doctor were polite and compassionate. Definitely would recommend taking your pet if you need a vet.

I took a cat in there and had been squished in the head, they said he needs to be put to sleep and told me it would be $20 I said okay..... I was upset and left, the next day they call me and said they I owed them $140 something dollars.... I'll never go back

I love this place and all the employees, been bringing all 5 of my dogs here and now puppy number 6,the employees are all very friendly and care about our fur babies, will continue to go here

Amazing local vet that took the time and care to work with my GSD to ensure he has a positive experience and isn't afraid of going to the vet ever again. If your dog is scared of the vet, ask about nice visits. It's free and they'll walk you around the hospital and let your dog sniff everything, meet their doctor and become friends. Very helpful and exactly what Bismarck needed.
