Dr. Biles is I take my pets too. Nice, knowledge, and wants you to understand what is going on with the pet. Good country vet! and that my friends is a complement these days.

Easy to schedule appt. But doc didn't appear to have a clue about my dog's malady. Got a rabies shot and on my way with little hope of solution. $76 is pretty pricey for minimal service. Got a lot more answer at next Vet for $35, where I will return again. Shoulda known better, after this, the 3rd time to pay $$$ for little to no answers. Will NOT be back to Animal Wellness!

If I could give 10 stars I would. The staff is very friendly and I feel like my dog is in good hands. My schnauzer had a dental cleaning and had to have teeth extracted :( I was upset about this and the doctor called me personally to check on me and reassure me that it was what was best for my dog. I truly feel like the doctor cares about the animals he treats and that means the world. Would recommend this office to any pet owner.

Vet is great - but several staff were not wearing masks ????????

We had our first wellness visit with Dr. Powe today for our new Golden Doodle. The staff was friendly and they got us in and out quickly. I'll be honest, I do not leave negative reviews, but honestly Dr. Powe did not make me feel warm and fuzzy to say the least. She spoke pretty negatively about the Golden Doodle breed and questioned me about the research I had done prior to adopting the puppy. I'm sure some of her concerns were legitimate regarding maintenance to their coat, but I'm sure there are concerns with every breed. First of all.... I have looked into these puppies for over 2 years before finally deciding to bring one into our home. We also owned a Golden Retriever for 14 years. We visited this particular dog 2 months prior to making our final decision. I am extremely happy with our decision and I think my veterinarian should definitely talk to me about concerns and talk me through solutions if problems arise, but frankly she tried to make me seem foolish for my choice. We will be looking elsewhere for the future.

I have been a client with Dr. Powe before AWC opened and she has been caring for my cats for over a decade. The staff is professional and courteous and goes above and beyond at every opportunity. They have seen me through two different cancer issues with my kitties with compassion and support. I’ve brought them 3 or 4 rescue kittens that they have taken care of their health and vaccinated for adoption out to others. I believe their quoted prices are in line with industry standards and quite a value when coupled with their caring manner and attention to detail. I highly recommend this practice to all, you will not be disappointed.

We have been with Dr. Powe before she even started her practice at Animal Wellness. I would follow her anywhere! She took care of my sweet baby for well over 10 years. She is so loving, patient and kind. Not only to your baby but you as well. She will answer any and all questions and is always straightforward. Her staff is just as wonderful. They truly are all the best. They are family and I truly could not imagine going anywhere else❤❤❤❤

Love love Love Dr. Biles! He will treat your animals like they are his own and Courtney is a God send! It's hard having to leave your babies behind when you go out of town but she will make sure they get plenty of love!

I have been taking my pugs and bulldog here for a while to see Dr. Biles because he is absolutely wonderful, but I will not be back. Today I was charged $85 for a nail trim, a nail filing, and an anal gland extraction when I was quoted a total of $40 over the phone. The older secretary has been repeatedly rude and aggressive with me on multiple occassions, and today the other physician, Dr. Powe openly argued with me and was very unprofessional in the prescence of customers about my bill. Afterwards, I asked when Dr. Biles would be working. The same secretary disrespectfully responded that Dr. Powe owned the building. It's very unfortunate that repeat customers would be treated this way and that these staff members are allowed to operate a business with a lack of concern for customer care.

We LOVE Animal Wellness Center of Fairhope! Dr. Powe and Dr. Biles are dedicated, knowledgeable and compassionate doctors. They listen...they are always thorough! They treat my dog like he is their own. Their vet techs are also very caring and calming (especially when dealing with me...I am an over reactive pet mama). I highly recommend Animal Wellness Center of Fairhope!

Second time back to the area. Our first time here I was VERY fortunate to find such a caring and compassionate Vet like Dr. Powe. She and her staff were always wonderful with my kiddos and treated them as if they were their own. After 10 years of relocating I was extremely happy that we were heading back. If I ever have to relocate again, I'm packing her with me. The doctors and staff here are professional and devoted to your pets health. Animal Wellness Center of Fairhope is hands down the best place to go for the care and well-being of your fur babies.

Great Docs and excellent service !

This vet did a surgery on our 11 year old cat in which he ended up dying of heart failure. We paid 1100 for the surgery then they wanted another 700 for care provided 3 days trying to save my cat from complications due to surgery. We finally had to put him to sleep due to respiratory distress. After years of having them care for our pets and paying thousands of dollars, they refused to see our pets again until a 700 dollars balance for my dead cat was paid. I would expect a vet to be more competent and compassionate than this. I have now switched to a new vet and am going to have to legally dispute this bill.

The service manager was very accommodating getting a same-day oil change appointment for me they had WiFi and a very nice waiting room

I appreciate knowing that my dog is under the best care with Dr. Powe. She listens to my concerns and gives me treatment options. She lists out the pros, cons and cost. Then I can make an informed decision. I really like this straightforward approach. They are professional and compassionate when I have needed it most!

Had my cat fixed here. Staff was nice and knowledgable. Rates were reasonable. Also they have a nice "ambassador" cat that makes your visit more enjoyable.

I can’t express my love for this place and the two vets that have taken such wonderful care of my babies. They truly care about your animals and explain everything and answer any questions. The actual vet will call you and speak to you if needed not a secretary or assistant. I love it and I am so appreciative of them. Prices are great and they always explain services so you can make an informed decision with no pressure. They are not about the money but about the animal. I’ve brought my cats here as well as strays and they are always available for appointments every time I call. They’ve always worked with me and everyone is so polite and nice. The vet assistants are great as well. It is wonderful estrablishment and I highly recommend it!

Genuinely care about your pet. Vet called me next day to see how my sick kitty was doing.

My son has an Autism service dog and I'm very picky about the care he receives. Animal Wellness Center is a wonderful for check-ups, shots, dental cleanings, Etc. Highly recommend them!
