This rescue is amazing! Going about and beyond to help all kinds of animals. They properly vet animals & also do proper checking for forever homes. Works constantly to help animals who can't speak for themselves. Recommended highly! I am a regular donor to this wonderful rescue.

I've been fostering cats with Furever Home Rescue for over 2 years and they've been wonderful to work with! They take in some of the harder medical cases that no other rescues are willing to take on. They have so much compassion and take great care of animals within their care. My foster coordinator is very helpful and responsive. They were very adaptive and creative during the pandemic transitioning to virtual home visits and adoptions. I would highly recommend anyone to adopt, foster, or volunteer with FEHR!

I’ve adopted and volunteered with this organization, they are amazing! They don’t shy away from taking the hard cases and try to do right by every animal that is in their care.

This rescue is in MN.... You should add that to your name because the one in MI that you get confused with is horrible!

When you adopt a pet from here, you'll think it's fine, but if it gets aggressive, the staff will go from 1 to 100 and get really angry at you. I don't think it's reliable and you shouldn't adopt a pet from there...

You're better off adopting with any other rescue. The staff is super rude.

This rescue is volunteer-based and rescues huge numbers of animals each year! Please give rescuing a chance!

We submitted an application for a dog adoption. No word, I followed up with an email, phone call (of course no answer), so I left voice mail. No response. Yes, we are all busy but this is just inconsiderate.

We have adopted several animals from Fur-Ever Home Rescue and will in the future. They go above and beyond no matter the cost for every single animal. They are a small but mighty rescue. I also donate as much as I can to their hard medical cases because they do right by every animal. One of the best Rescues out there Hands down!

Very disappointed with this rescue. My kitty passed away and we have been trying to adopt another one so my 4 year old daughter won't be so sad anymore! I have emailed the rescue 3 times, and sent an application for a specific cat I have been looking at and very excited about. I have yet to receive any response. It has now been over 2 weeks. :( EDIT TO ADD... It's now been over 2 months and never received a response, now the cat we wanted to meet is gone. Took another star away. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. EDIT AGAIN.. 6 months later I finally recieved an email that wasnt automated, only responding to this review. The person emailing me stated that they sent me a denied email because the young dog in my house is not yet spayed. I never recieved that email, I was watching very closely. When I stated that the emailer has become very passive aggressive and not caring of the situation at all. Will never recomend this place to anyone.

To preface, we LOVE our cat and we think she was as happy as a cat could be in a shelter. Getting our cat was easy but afterwards it took a lot of time and nagging to get the microchip and vet records. We have had our cat for 2 months and I only just got the vet records last week. They had originally said they put the paperwork in her carrier but it absolutely was not there (we didn't check until we were home). Also, we told a friend about Furever and when she tried to adopt a cat, they declined her application and never answered her as to why they declined, which seems unprofessional and just plain rude.

They are so caring for all the animals in their care. They don’t give up on any animal.

This rescue is the epitome of what rescue should be. They truly look out for the “under dog”; taking on animals that others pass by due to high medical needs or potential behavior issues. They do right by each animal, no matter the time or cost! We adopted our sweet girl (pit bull mix) from them; she would have been euthanized if they had not taken her to their Healing Haven outreach program. Others passed her by for her apparent aggressive behavior when she was just stressed from the shelter environment. She has zero behavior issues and I’m so glad Fur-Ever Home crossed her path.

Super quick to respond back after I did my application. Wasn't an excruciating process either. All around beyond happy with how everything went! Highly recommend this rescue!

Fur-Ever Home Rescue does an excellent job making sure the animals in their organization get paired up with the best family for success. They make sure to base decisions off of the animals needs to ensure this. They also want to make sure the animals they adopt out are going to a safe home which just goes to show how much their care about their animals. They aren't in rescue to profit off of animals like many other rescues do. I am always happy to see that this rescue steps up for the animals with difficult medical and behavioral cases when no other rescue will. Their fosters and volunteers go out of their way to help and save these animals when they are the animals last hope. They truly care about every animal that they intake into the rescue as if it is their own personal pet. ????????????

We applied to many rescues in search of the perfect second dog to add to our family. My fiancé, our other dog and I were anxiously waiting to find our newest forever companion. Many rescues didn’t even have the decency to get back to us. This rescue got back to us right away about the puppy we wanted, they were extremely informative, and very professional. After communicating with them, they immediately scheduled a virtual home visit. (During Covid) and after that, immediately scheduled a time we could meet with the fosters to meet the dog, and have our dog meet the dog. This was all scheduled very professionally and promptly! Because of you guys we met our forever baby! We love May so much and she truly completes our family. Thank you for being such an amazing rescue, we don’t know what we would ever do if we didn’t have our May May in our lives. ❤️

Everyone was so nice! Can't find a group of people that care more about animals. If you want to foster or adopt this is the place.

Filled out and sent an application to adopt a kitty. Didn't hear anything for a couple weeks, then a lady called requesting a virtual home visit. After I told her that I don't have an IPhone, but an Android, I was told that one of the volunteers would call me to do the virtual visit. It's been over a month, and several inquiries later, and nobody ever contacted me, nor responded to my emails. I would have loved to adopt Olivia, and I see she is still available, but I will have to go someplace else to adopt. Too bad! That is not the way to do get pets adopted. Beware!

I have adopted two rescue dogs through Fur-Ever Home Rescue. I had such a great experience with them the first time that I became a foster and a transport volunteer with them too. My first foster became my foster "fail". She stole my heart, she got along well with my other dog who is very sensitive about other animals and I knew she had to stay. The founder and many volunteers at Fur-Ever Home Rescue were there for me every step of the way throughout the adoption process and later with the fostering process too. They answered all of my questions with educated answers and have helped me successfully navigate some challenging behaviors with another foster dog. They truly care about what they're doing and do everything possible to ensure the animals in their rescue are well cared for - including doing whatever it takes to correct medical or behavioral issues. They take on the tough cases that many rescues will not. They have my full support!

Staff were incredibly friendly, the animals looked happy and well cared for. I just adopted a sweet little kitty named Max from Fur Ever Home and he's the sweetest little guy. I would recommend them!
