I've been bringing our dog here for a few months now, and as a former certified vet tech, I'm very impressed with the quality of care and professionalism shown by Buffalo Companion Animal Clinic. The receptionists and technicians are all incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and it seems that they take pride in their jobs--that is the first sign of a good practice. We started coming here after the start of COVID-19; despite not being present during exams, the staff and doctors are incredibly thorough in going over exam findings on the phone. I have recommended Drs. Merz and Mattson to multiple people, and will continue to do so. I don't regret switching to this practice at all, and am very happy we did!

Quick service for my pup who ate something not meant for puppies, very nice staff. You could tell they really cared about the animals and didn't guilt me for the mishap

I love this place! It is not our main vet, but we have used them a few times for more urgent matters that arise. Today was no different, we have a dog who woke up and his whole side of his face swollen. Our vet did not open for an hour after the Buffalo one. We called they got him in this morning. They said if it was a tooth they would not have time today to do it. They checked, it was, and they worked him in. Once they got him under anesthetic it was worse then expected. They did what was needed, and he will be okay! His human child is so relived after she got him back in her arms! Thanks again to the amazing staff!

Best vet services around! They always take excellent care of my pets.

We came in for some tests after going to the emergency vet a week prior. All of the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. It was LEAGUES cheaper than the other vet. I know emergency vets are expensive, but the one test we got was $63 compared to $311 at Bluepearl. Would 100% recommend.

I have brought my dog here since she was a puppy and they always take good care of her. They take time to answer questions and refer me to specialists when it was required for alergy testing. Even after moving near Hutch I drive back here as their service prices are better and they are a good vet.

I took my two cats in for their yearly exam, and to update their distemper shots. With our current Covid crisis, it is curbside drop and pickup only, but all of the staff were very communicative on the phone before, during and after the visit. The doctor called me himself to let me know how the exam went, any problems(none, except some extra Chonk on both girls!????????????‍♀️) and it was all in all a very pleasant experience! I KNEW it would be clean and professional like it has always been the last 3 years we’ve been going there. Thanks to all the staff for yet again a wonderful visit for our beloved furry babies!

We have had nothing but good experiences at BCAC. Doctor Ron Moore was the first doctor to finally figure out our pups allergies. Before going to BCAC she would have bald spots all over her body, constant itching, and frequent ear infections. He was able to diagnose and get her on a treatment plan. Now we rarely see her itching/biting and she gets 2 ear infections a year, usually with when a season changes. BCAC is comparable in price to area vets, but the little bit extra has been worth it to have a happy and healthy pup!

Since they're an animal clinic, they believe they can charge you ANY amount of money, Just to tell you that your pet is fine. Never returning back to this clinic.

Great clinic for animal care, they treat our Krissy like she is part of the family. I would recommend this Animal Clinic to everyone. Very clean place very nice employees, great communications. They treat all our animals with the utmost respect.

I don't feel like my animal received the treatment I paid for, the Veterinarian spent less then five minutes I didn't even get to talk to anyone about other procedures I wanted to perform on my GSD. They didn't even fill the updated shot information that they took and photo copied. Seems they just wanted to get as much Money out of the visit as possible, I gave them a stool sample and No information was given of results. Very unlikely to return.

My dog instantly goes into crazy excited mode when she sees the building. They're so good with her.

The staff is very kind. I enjoy how the vet takes time with us to discuss our pets health. I never feel like I'm over charged.

My shepherd has had a lot of problems with diarrhea. The veterinarians worked with me. I think we got the problem solved.

Our family cat was super sick, having not really eaten for three days and barely drank any water. We didn't have a regular vet (we've only had him a year) and we couldn't get in anywhere. I called 10 vets in St. Michael, Albertville, Rogers, Elk River, Annandale, Maple Lake, Kimball, Eden Prairie, and Oakdale and finally stumbled upon this clinic, which is close to us...we live in St. Michael. They said they were full, but we could drop him off and they'd squeeze him in. They were so nice and caring. They did an x-ray to rule out a blockage and then gave him fluids and an anti-nausea medicine. He's home and resting and had a few bites to eat. He's not out of the woods yet, but we have hope. We will be using them going forward and I can't recommend them enough. Their costs were 60% less than the clinic in Oakdale that would also see him! Use this clinic. They really care. Theor office was clean and modern, too. I have only written two Google reviews in my life...for what it's worth.

Care is good but their fees are outrageous.

We brought our dog in for a neuter. They did a good job. He also got a nail trim, up to date on his shots, and tea and flick pill. The only thing I wish they would of done is give us better instructions on aftercare for the neuter. Didn't explain in person really what to expect.

For nearly 20 years our cat family has experienced the compassion and care given by the doctors, vet techs and staff. They go above and beyond.

This fantastic Companion Animal Clinic is the best! I have been bringing my dogs here for 25 years and have no complaints. Extremely professional and the staff and veterinarians are fun. They take time to chat and enjoy the visit. My dogs are good patients due to this relaxed environment. Many thanks go out to this fantastic group!!
