Highly recommend Gentle Doctor, the staff is caring and knowledgeable. We travel abroad with my Service Dog, a German Shepherd and they have helped us every time with her health check-ups and paperwork. Thank you

We’ve been going to the Gentle Vet for decades. They have always been awesome. They’re friendly and informative and so good with our cats. I’ve recommended them to everyone that gets new pets or have had issues with other vets. And they’re way cheaper then some others in the area.

They took very good care of my Dog Wally who got into a bunch of raisins that are toxic to dogs. Upon him eating the raisins, they did a good job keeping him safe and flushing his system from the raisins preventing kidney damage. Everyone we spoke with was helpful 100% of the way, and gave get him immediate care despite their busy schedule. Wally’s blood test came back clear and he is now safe at home after the flushing. They were also patient and understanding dealing with our questions and concerns. I truly feel like they went above and beyond to make sure he was safe. Thanks guys so much for possibly saving Wally’s life!! Much appreciated for everything you did!

The Gentle Doctor Veterinary Clinic is STELLAR!!!! There are no words that sufficiently describe how wonderful they are. I will take my animals nowhere else. All my neighbors have pets and we ALL feel the same way!! They are all angels sent from God! The ABSOLUTE BEST!!!

Update: We just had to have our dog put down and it was the hardest thing I've ever done, but the vet and staff at The Gentle Doctor were so kind and answered all our questions. They made a very painful day at least a little better by the care they gave. I highly recommend this vet clinic. 3 years prior: Gentle Doctor did a great job on my dog's dental work, and they had better pricing than anywhere else I had looked at near us. We'll definitely be going back and have decided to make this our vet clinic!! Thanks, Gentle Doctor for caring for our dog, for treating her like our family member, and for making care affordable for owners' wallets and for the health of pets!!

We have been bringing our pets to this clinic since 1992. They have helped us through some really tuff times and through some really good times. Dr Aldridge is the best. She is the reason we go out of our way to go to this clinic.

I’ve taken my dog here for years. Dr Jenny and all the staff know her by name. We have had great care and great service. Once they even taped meds to the door and let me pay later to accommodate a last minute emergency my dog had. Kindness is a trademark of their service. You’ll be pleased if you visit them for your pet’s care.

Dr. Aldridge has provided great care for all of our dogs over the years. And they have all outlived their expected years, most importantly they were all very healthy throughout. We briefly tried other vets closer to home however these other vets seemed more interested in "selling" us other programs/services/insurance/etc. than they were with the health of our pets. The staff at Gentle Doctor seems to genuinely care deeply about all their patients.

We brought our cat here for the first time because we just moved back to the area and all of the staff was very friendly. Our experience with the vet was great too. Some vets haven’t been allowing people in with covid but I really appreciate getting to bring my pet in and being able to talk to the doctor face to face. Would definitely recommend this clinic!

Brought our dog here for an emergency and they went right to work helping her. They did an exceptional job. The team cares about the animals in their care. I would recommend this clinic.

Been meaning to write this review for a while. Gentle doctor was super helpful in the process of identifying what Teddy (our dog) was experiencing, and trying to help get him better. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful and they truly cared about Teddy (and us). Wanted to say thank you to them, and also make others aware of their kind and helpful team. Thanks again!

I use this vet as a back up if my usual vet is busy but I think I'm going to quit using them. Dr Aldridge is great but they NEVER answer their phones and let the voice-mails build up. I've heard the front desk staff comment that they won't listen to the voice-mails because they will just get more. They always take a 3 or 4 day for every holiday which shows that animals are not their priority.They are overextending themselves and need to fix it because the quality of service is going down and they are going to lose clients.

Didn't get much after care instructions when my cat was neutered. No cone given. They said if the cat licks it put him in a cone, its a cats nature to lick. So yeah cones are required, than we were wondering how long we should cone for, the time line given was was same as if their were stitches which there were none.

Great place when you have a nervous dog

Dr. Aldridge appears to be the only veterinarian here. She is very kind & professional, but she obviously has a lot on her plate being the only doctor. The front desk people are not responsive and therefore unreliable :( We went to a different local vet & they requested the records be faxed over from gentle dr, and they did not respond after 3 hrs of waiting, at which point they had closed. Can’t blame them if they’re as busy as they seem. When we would ask them to give attention to certain symptoms or check certain areas, it wouldn’t be followed up on when we brought it up to Dr. A, she wouldn’t mention it or even know about it. The appointments felt very rushed. For ex: we asked for my pets ears to be looked at, and we never heard anything about it. When we took our pet to this different vet regarding an entire different issue, they brought up his ears needing to be cleaned out & tested for infection without us even asking about it! It’s a shame considering after one visit at a different place, we already have a ton of questions answered & a good game plan set in place. My peace of mind & pets health are the only 2 things that matter to me the most after struggling over his health issues for the last 2 months. He came from a shady shelter & is such a good boy. I hope Gentle Doctor can get the help they need but until then, consider elsewhere if your pet requires immediate specific or serious help.

Been going to this vet for for 12+ years my dog was dying and not breathing well we brought him here. We asked for xrays everything and they kept dismissing it as anything serious they made us run unneeded blood test not related to his breathing and when we went again for another time to pick up our dog they had left him alone in a room. i dont know how long for but clearly my dog was panicking. They kept putting off his appointments and my dog got worse. This took three weeks just to schedule 2 appointment. My dog was dying and it wasnt urgent to them.IF YOU HAVE A DYING DOG DONT go here they prioritize new dogs.

These are good vets. Their online systems have been under load lately, but they seem to coping well.

When trying to find my fuel card for my truck. I attempted to call this place. No one answered for 30 minutes. Making me have to drive back to them to see if the card was there. Back tracking a 30 min drive.

I love the Gentle Doctor Vet! They are so kind, love animals, and provide excellent care. Whenever we've had a concern, they make every effort to squeeze us in asap. They also are very affordable- I was recently quoted $160-700 for a simple procedure potentially requiring sedation. The Gentle Doctor Vet quoted about $50, and they were also the vet that could get him in the soonest. I would recommend them to anyone!

Great place. Friendly, and affordable. Before I moved to the area, and was visiting family over Thanksgiving a couple years ago, my dog had a horrible allergic reaction. His entire body and face was covered in huge hives. On black friday, they were the only vet within 20 miles who would get him in immediately to be looked at. At first they didn't have any appointments, but when they heard about the possible severity of the reaction, they did what they could to fit him in to be seen right away. They took care of him wonderfully, and the treatment was incredibly effective and inexpensive I. I'm absolutely grateful for that. Customer for life with that kind of care. Also, they have happily dealt with my cat which I assume is quite challenging.
