I can't say enough good things about the vets and staff at VCA Feist! The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, and we've had good experiences with all of the vets we've seen. However, Dr. Harcourt stands out as an AMAZING vet who listened to our concerns very patiently and spent a lot of time discussing different treatment options with us. I feel like they're always very thorough with their exams and I think their prices are fair. Thank you VCA Feist!

Dr. Theobold is a LIFESAVER. My dog has had numerous mass cell tumors and Dr. Theobold works with such kindness and compassion every time we find a new one. My dog is very anxious with strangers (especially when I'm not around due to covid protocols) and everyone has been so patient and gentle with her throughout her various surgeries and emergency appointments. Couldn't recommend this place more. Also Care Club has saved my bank account on more than one occasion!

I’ve been going to this VCA for almost 3 years and never had a bad experience until today. I scheduled a 1pm appointment for my cat Simba and was told over the phone multiple times during this call it was at 1pm. When I arrived to the appointment I was told that his appointment was scheduled in their system at 11am not the 1pm that I discussed with the scheduler. I didn’t ask for the callers name at VCA, but whoever was at the desk from 12:40-1pm was rude. Poor customer service. Instead of acknowledging that there was probably miscommunication she just kept reiterating what was on the schedule, which I didn’t care about because that’s different from what I was verbally told. I scheduled this appointment last minute early this week as I was concerned for my cats paw and was told to bring him as soon as possible. This was the soonest available appointment. She didn’t seem sympathetic to my situation and sounded irritated herself. While I was still being nice and telling her “Thank you and bye” she hung up on me. I called back and expressed my shock and irritation about being hung up on. She still seemed disinterested and noted she’ll put that I was disappointed with her awful customer service. So I’m writing this to MAKE SURE it was noted. Again, whoever was at the desk on Friday, June 4th from 12:40-1pm when I called needs to work on their customer service. Especially when someone is worried and expressing concern for their pet.

Been going here for years and had great experiences every time with my cats. Just recently adopted a covid puppy and he’s very energetic. Went on a walk and messed up his back leg. When I brought him in, I told them everything they needed to know. By the end of the appointment, they simply repeated what I said and sent me home with pain meds for $114. Saying “it’s probably a growth plate”. Mind you, there’s a previous note in his records stating swelling in that leg. Over the weekend, I do what the Vet asks. When Tuesday comes around, he’s still limping. I call and express the concerns not only with my dog but also the pricing and how things went about. I get everyone needs to make their money but $430 for another visit?? I live alone and can’t afford that but hey????????‍♀️

Dr. Pierce is so kind and helpful. Very pleased with my new vet thus far. Update 5mo later: 5 to 3 stars. Why: I feel as though this vet is trying to nickle and dime their customers/trying to profit more than care for the animals. I feel this way because their prices are absurdly high compared to other vets. My puppy was due to get neutered here so we had a pre-op exam. The blood work they recommended we do was far more comprehensive than needed and ended up costing us $200. They then gave us a quote for the neutering and it was $770 on the low end and ranged to as high as $970. That didn't feel right to me so I called 3 other vets and they gave me pricing much much lower, and the anesthesia would be included as would be the pain pills unlike this place where everything has a separate charge. One place even said that they would have only charged me $60 for the blood work that was NEEDED. I mean just comparing the amount they charge for fecal samples is crazy. They are $15 more than the vet I just switched back to. Anyhow. Almost $1,000 for neutering a dog is unacceptable.

Nice staff & vets. Good arrangement with COVID where you stay in your car and they come take your pet. All interactions done over the phone. Everyone stays healthy and pets get their appointments.

I brought both my puppies here, and joined the careclub, said I wanted to pay for the careclub for both dogs infull up front, they did not tell me they only charged me for one dog in full, (not both) so am thinking both dogs are paid for in full with the careclub. then they start pulling money from my debit card for the second dog with out authorization. Then when I called and asked them why they where pulling more money from my debit card they said only 1 dog was paid for. They did not say they made the mistake with the billing when I first came in and wanted to pay for both dogs in full. So this resulted in my bank account having an $1,200.00 over draft, (3 month later) and they would not reverse the charge. ( money I did not have at the time) so I had to barrow $1,200.00 dollars to cover the over draft. Now I could have afforded the $79.00 per month for the other dog to be in the careclub, and paid for in on a monthly bases, but no they would not reverse the $1,200.00 dollar charge, because they said I wanted to pay in full, I said yes that is true, I wanted to pay infull at the time I first came in and had the money to do so, and I had thought I did pay infull for both dogs. Now it is not my mistake that you only charged me for 1 dog when you should have charged me for 2 when I first came in. , Now they won't honor the contract of the careclub because they said I was rude. So am out the moeny for both dogs I paid for into the careclub. $2,400.00 dollars plus the money I had to pay now for my dogs to get their shots updated and an exam at a new vet. Feist basically stole $2,400.00 dollars from me would not honer the careclub insurance. Their office manager is rude and disrespectful. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE Reply to Response from the owner I have spoken with the office manager, she is the one who made the mess in the first place. Sense your the owner why don't you just refund the 2,400.00 dollars you stole from me.

Amazing service even during covid times. My dog Henry was adopted earlier this February and we took him in to the vet. We were told many things at the animal humane society were in fact wrong and he also had a lengthy list of infections we had to take care of. Everyone was so kind and patient with me and very informative about how I can care for Henry. I have only had two precious experiences with vets and I’m honestly about to bring in my cat here just because of the amazing service. Thank you for being so informative and helpful with my special dog!

Great vet with multiple doctors and exam rooms. Vet technicians are extremely friendly and make sure everything is explained fully on how to administer medication and post vist care. They seem to care about your pets as much as you do.

Efficient appt process allows for maximum social distancing while still supporting ability to consult with the veterinarian during exam; park in numbered spot, pet is picked up from and returned to your vehicle; app for payment, emailed visit summary; like my vet, she has seen 2 of my cats and 2 of my dogs

Thorough and careful care. Always concerned about what’s best for my furry companion. They greet and say goodbye to my anxious kitty directly in sweet voices - you know they care! Up front about costs and procedures. They also have many services in-house, so rarely is there any need to wait for something to be sent elsewhere or to be referred for a particular service.

Update: I originally gave 5 stars and have been using them for about a year and I was just treated very rudely. Unfortunately I will not be going back They need to work on their customer service and their attitude on the phone

I went here for the first time after adopting a cat from the humane society. Their COVID19 policy was wonderful. I never had to enter the building, I only had to interact person-to-person outside when they picked up and returned my cat to the vehicle, and the techs were masked. I really appreciate the safety precautions, and how smooth it was. Both the front desk, techs, and vet were very kind. The vet was extremely thorough in his exam even though I wasn't there to watch, and spent longer on the phone with me explaining and answering questions than most vets I've seen do in person. My cat seemed happy and calm when he came out. Awesome first experience, thank you so much!

I don’t usually put a review but today i will! My dog was in need of professional look at, I called over 11 vet clinics & walk-in hospitals but not one ask what was wrong with my pet or if they could do anything to help or future scheduling BUT only VCA FEIST was the first & able to put me in for an immediate check in/checkup. Im am super thankful for their work and for working their best to put my princess first even with their busy schedule! Right when I arrived, we saw a sign on their window that said “PAWsitive” & that made Me try my best to not over think what today may be for us. When we moved to Minnesota from Colorado, it was really hard to find a vet that cared about our pets as much as we do. They are an amazing crew and know what they are doing. Our dogs happily go with the vet techs and that speaks volumes. Thank you Feist team! ❤ The Crazy Cottingham Crew

I like the fact its its close to my home, the animal environment is good and staff is caring and attentive, but it can be expensive

I've been very impressed with the staff at this veterinary office. We've brought several cats in now for general check-ups as well as emergency visits. Every time we and our animals are treated with respect and pleasantness. Unfortunately I had to say goodbye to one pet a few days after they helped give a diagnoses and sent me to the UMN vet hospital but afterwards when they knew she passed I got a heartfelt card in the mail and a caring phone call. I also had an appointment here during the COVID-19 pandemic where they had it set up for us to call at arrival, bring our pet in it's carrier or on a leash up to the door for a tech, then wait in our car while they're being cared for. I spoke on the phone to another tech and the vet for as long as I would have were I in the office itself. It didn't feel like a lack of customer service or care which I really appreciated and showed stellar performance. I'll be sticking with this office for years to come.
