They should be more upfront about your pricing and inform us that we will be required to pay for another office visit. I have worked in vet clinics and I have never had to have TWO exams ONLY 4 WEEKS APART. we did not ask for a Doctor time slot just a booster. I am very aware that Dotors in the veterinarian profession are totally under valued but over charging this way is no way to ethically boost your sales. We never got a call back to check on the dogs after our first visit and Rocky was very sick and I knew from my previous experience not to worry, so saying you care about our pets is not true. I am also extremely disappointed that you chose to email rather than talk to me. Email is an inappropriate form of communication for this kind of complaint. You should have the decency to talk to me as I was told when I first called.

The experience here has been phenomenal and I will keep trusting them with my pet and future pets. We mainly see the veterinary Helga but we have had great experiences with their gentlemen vet as well. You can call or email and expect a prompt response.

This is a fine vet to visit if your pet is in good health, but if you are taking your pet here because something is wrong be prepared to lose them. We brought our cat Fritzy in multiple times after he had stopped eating and was rapidly losing weight. They pushed fluids and charged us for emergency visit rates even though we were coming in during normal visit hours. Then they had the audacity to say "we have to wait and see what happens, I wish they could just tell us what was wrong with them" when they hadn't even run all possible tests. I took him for a second opinion to another vet and within half an hour they had checked his kidney and diagnosed him. If we had not gotten him into another vet that day they said he would have passed away over the weekend. It never should have gotten to that point when he had BEEN to a vet multiple times that week. Lifecare has lost my business and my families business because they were going to let Fritzy suffer and pass away while taking hundreds of dollars to do nothing. Please protect your pets better. Always seek a second opinion if you have doubts and go somewhere else.

Sadly, I am leaving LifeCare Animal Hospital after being with them for over 5 years. After doing a market comparison, they over doubled their prices for a routine spay in 16 months (see photos for reference). If you cannot afford $1,200 - $1,400 for a spay I would recommend seeking care elsewhere. They also started charging more for other services, I believe I paid $20 for a nail trim during a puppy visit. Dr. McKenna was great and provided wonderful care. I will miss seeing her. I recommend her if you don't mind paying far above what other local vet clinics will charge you. However, I cannot in good conscience recommend a clinic that puts profits over pets.

Life Care was easy to book and they have a fancy new app that is a game changer. Jazz responded so well to every staff person here, I am positive they are all good kind people who love animals. What more can one ask for?

Dr McKenna is the most kind and compassionate veterinarian that we have ever had the pleasure of taking our dogs to. She has a very calm and soothing demeanor and truly listens to every question and concern that we have answering honestly and thoughtfully. The facility and staff are amazing, as well. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for caring, professional , accessible and reasonable prices for your best friend(Lewie the Lab , in our case), Life Care Animal Hospital, is our top choice. From the staff at the front desk, to the Veterinarians, you will feel you have made the right choice for care, with no high pressure to purchase anything your best friend may need. You are given options and you can choose, what you feel is needed. Life Care staff on at least several instances, have helped us find Lewie when he has decided to visit the neighborhood. A great team !

Life Care is an excellent veterinarian clinic. The staff is so helpful and kind. Dr. Helga took time to answer all the questions I had. My dog responded very well to her and it was a good experience for both of us. I highly recommend Life Care Animal Hospital.

Today was my little man's first visit, and I was worried with the pandemic rules. My Zaddy was very good, and the staff was outstanding with him, and helping me get everything in line with his care.

I’ve been meaning to write a review for a few years now. We moved to the East Side back in 2017 and started seeing Dr. McKenna at LifeCare. We have four dogs (3 foster “fails”), and since we adopted two of them as senior dogs and one that has bad allergies we’ve become vet regulars. We have been to several different vet clinics in the area, but LifeCare is now our primary because of how truly amazing they are. There was a moment last year that truly made Life Care unforgettable. I had urgently referred my father there when he called me saying his young dog wasn’t eating, drinking and couldn’t get up. Dr. McKenna called me on his request when they learned the pup was actively dying (catastrophic anemia, likely IMHA). My dad is autistic and is cognitively impaired, and we had recently had a hard loss prior to the pup becoming ill. The team had a situational awareness that I wish could be taught to so many. They acted like a family that day to us both. They knew all the right things to say and do, even though they didn’t know our what was going on in our lives. I didn’t have the best reaction that day because I was so angry with myself that I didn’t see signs earlier, and since I had recently become my dad’s guardian I felt responsible for the pups early demise (though I understand now that it was unpreventable). The team that day become impromptu clinical therapists. They deserve the highest recognition in their field. I cannot thank them enough.

I feel like we’re family there and they leave it up to me of what I want to be done and charged for and will suggest things for further investigation and understand that I will do it if needed but need to save for it!

Doing a web search for a new vet and came across Life Care Animal Hospital. The web site was very easy to navigate, layout/set up were nice and I was able to have some questions answered. From there the service was great! (Fees were reasonable as well) Friendly and informative staff. I’m a new puppy owner and had ALOT of questions....they answered all of them and didn’t make me feel dumb. Even with covid the drop off/pick up experience was easy and not rushed. AND after my visit, I left with a genuine feeling that they cared about my new puppy. I’m looking forward to a great care provider for our newest little addition ????.

Dr. Harlow and the rest of staff took great care of my dog and were a delight to work with, they didn't try to oversell on any products or services my pet did not need. Gave honest advice and useful information. Will be bringing my other dog here as well. Highly recommend. Prompt and easy curbside service(COVID) Thank you so much to everyone at Life Care Animal Hospital!

The staff and vets at Life Care are great! They really care about the animals. I appreciate their responsiveness too. When we have an unscheduled issue, they do their best to get back to you. I find their rates to be quite reasonable as well. I highly recommend Life Care for your pet.

The staff is always kind, professional and communicative. My dog doesn't fear going to the vet because they treat all animals like they're their own. The treatment costs are also very reasonable.
