It is a very clean and neat clinic. I was warmly welcomed when we arrived. I didn't wait long to be checked in and for the vet to show. The staff is excellent. Very friendly and professional. The vet was so professional, knowledgeable, and listened intently. Everyone was very kind with my cat. I just moved into the area, and I'm glad I found this vet. I would highly recommend this clinic.

I got my dog fixed at a clinic in MPLS and it was a horrendous experience. He was swollen and FULL of blood- I noticed when he laid down, any time he would get up there would be blood where he was laying. I reached out to the vet who did the surgery and she advised me that it was normal and to let it drain throughout the night. The swelling got worse as did the bleeding, I called Black Dog and left a message about the situation extremely worried at this point. I got a call back from them first thing in the morning (before they even opened) and they got him in right away. They had to preform surgery to fix the problem and I could not thank them enough. The kept me in the loop every step of the way and Leo came back to me happier than ever- such a relief! You can absolutely tell this staff genuinely cares about the pets and pet owners they see and it shows! Will not ever take my pets anywhere else- can not thank them enough for saving my dog!

Our Emma Joe has run into health problems, and Black Dog vet was there. They've been there for everything, getting her in right away, and always made sure our Emna felt safe, and happy. They've even stayed late so I could bring her in last minute when she needed to be seen. Emma LOVES seeing all the staff there, and always comes back home happy as can be. They are very warm, and welcoming. Lord knows they've been there when I've cried from being so worried about her. They are wonderful, I wouldn't trust anyone else with our Emma..

Otis was seen by them few days ago diagnosed with 2 bad knees went over every option with me he is doing much better now everyone there seems to care so much for him. Couldn’t be happier with everything they did for my best friend Otis.

I've been to roughly 8 vet clinics in my lifetime and this one absolutely is my favorite. Everyone who works here is extremely kind and they are great veterinarians. The price is really good too.

The vets and staff are always great. Very friendly and compassionate. They will go out of their way to help you. I called them 1 minute before they closed and they got me in the next day which was their busiest day. I can't thank them enough. They don't try to push extra diagnostics just to make a buck. Prices are very reasonable and exam rooms are always clean. Love this clinic!!!

They gave my cat the best of care before during and after surgery. The staff was kind, caring and very helpful. We take our other cats to them, too. I highly recommend them!

Happy Place for Pups & their Owners!

We faceently had to drive from Hayfield to Red wing to pick up medications forme. Along the way just N.E. of Zymbroda we spotted a kitten on the highway, bloodied and stumbling Being human and not a monster we turned back to find and help her. The Black Dog vet clinic made room in their booked schedule that morning to check her out. They were very accommodating and polite, as well as, efficient and well trained. Only reason for 4 not 5 star is due to inconvenience from Covid19 and price. However that was to be expected with any such place... All together we are happy and satisfied... P.S. "Lucky" is making a full recovery thanks to the skilled veteran. She is amazing.
