Straight to the point type of appointments, very friendly staff and the vet took great care of my cat. Shots are a reasonable price. This place is great for quick yet great service!

I found Dr. Heather after our regular vet, whom we loved dearly, moved away. I didn't think I'd find one I respected and appreciated and trusted more.... but I did at Kivisto Vet clinic. She saw my dog through her senior years with grace and care and without pressure to buy stuff that just wasn't worth buying a dog already in their final years. She was so professional yet warm the day I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put her down. For such a horrible experience, it was a great experience. I am sad I no longer have a pet to bring her, the care was that good and prices SO reasonable. I question how she even stays in business (or I question how much other vets are upcharging us unnecessarily). There are a lot of good reviews, however, I've never had a worse experience putting a pet down. I wanted my cat sedated first and when she refused I asked why not. I used those specific words, not being rude or anything else. She explained that it would make it difficult to get a vein, which I think is a poor excuse, and then she went on to lecture me how euthanasia is hard for her to and we all need to be nice and that she didn't even know if she wanted to do this for me. I had no choice because my cat was very sick. I'll never go back. I don't need a stressful time made even worse being scolded for asking a question. I'm still so angry and I'd like to write more, but I assure you there are several vets in the area. You don't need her. Oh, it was also wildly overpriced at $145 to put a cat to sleep.

I had heard some good things about Kivisto, at least when people are actually able to get in, However NOT THE CASE! I've never experienced or seen anything like this from a business. Coming from someone who has been in this field as a certified veterinary technician for over 20 years, I would never step foot in there or never recommend them to anyone. I figured they could handle a simple blood draw for a heartworm test, and boy was I wrong. The "so called appointment " was seriously the most unprofessional, disorganized, disrespectful, including the most childish behaved Veterinarian I've ever encountered. I seriously couldn't believe this behavior came from an employee let alone the owner or an adult for that matter. I was(still am) so taken back by all this. This was only my second time being a client, because the other multiple times I tried, I was told they don't do those things like suturing lacerations, dentals or anything that takes time. According to them they dont have staff or time to handle emergiences, they will just stabilize them send you on to a more suitable vet. I could really go on, like not getting test results, records, and when I wouldn't give them my credit card number over the phone, that I wanted to watch them scan it instead of writing it down, is when all this rudeness all started. After that the owner got right in my face, said I can go elsewhere. (Why so angry when I wanted to watch my card, why so triggered) Would need to go elsewhere anyways if ever something was wrong with one of them, cause they can't handle emergiences there according to employees. This experience was insane- absolutely mind blowing that an owner can act so childish.

Made me feel very comfortable during a very hard time. Very professional and extremely understanding. I couldn't ask for a better experience in such a hard time. The compassion they had definitely helped me through a very hard choice.

My family rescued 2 Saint Bernards and because of their past, they are very dog aggressive. I always let them know this over the phone and they have always made it their priority to have us come and get him into the room immediately. They are very loving towards them, even if they are not being the best patients!

Dr. Heather at Kivisto came highly recommended. She and her whole staff have been amazing. The clinic itself is clean and welcoming. The exam rooms also clean, the vet techs are very compassionate and thorough with vitals and listening to any concerns to note for the Dr. I brought my cat in to have his ears looked at and to have his paw checked as he had injured the nail. Dr. Heather was very gentle with him, as his paw was a bit sore. She was very informative, took the time to listen to my concerns, and gave me clear answers and great instructions for after care, and the price paid for the care received was very reasonable. I would absolutely recommend Kivisto Veterinary Clinic to family and friends in need of an excellent vet! Thank you Dr. Heather and Staff!

We brought our cat in with breathing issues and found out she was in heart failure. Everyone from the front desk, the technician, and the veteranarian treated us with kindness and sympathy on the choice to put our precious baby to sleep. They wrapped her up in a blanket with care and we brought her home. You all made a very difficult day easier. Thank you with all of hearts ????

We had an overall good experience. My only qualm would be being charged for "comprehensive exams" each time I went in (two weeks apart), which I felt was unnecessary, especially considering how basic the exam itself was. Other than that, Dr. K was kind and knowledgeable, as was the rest of the staff. :)
