This is the best vet I have ever been to that are amazing people who care about the animals. They are always responsible in price and my dogs love Dr.Riddle. They have even gotten me in last min when my dog wasn't feel well. I will never go to another vet again!

i'll share a pro tip for the business - who apparently doesn't know the secret to replying to reviews they find unsatisfactory. don't be a snarky jagoff. it will definitely cost you potential clients. at least i didn't have to give them money and put my animals in their hands to learn how they treat people.

I have used Northwoods for my animals for over 10 years now. They are very kind and informative. I wouldn't trust my pets with anyone else.

I've been bringing my pets to Northwoods for a few years now and I've been happy with them. I can even send the husband and not worry ????. I find the entire staff professional and patient (I'm not always easy to be patient with either. I tend to freak out when my pets are having trouble. I swear I try to be normal...). Their fees overall are fair and I appreciate that they don't try to bully you into diagnostics that may not be necessary. I've been to all (Not kidding, all of them. Yes, I have many pets. No, I'm not a hoarder. Not yet anyway. We'll see what happens as I get older ????) the other vet clinics in Princeton and a couple in Zimmerman and Northwoods is the place I trust and the only place I recommend to people.

Everything stayed out great 2 years ago when we first brought our puppy in to see Dr. Riddle. But recently we brought our box/lab in and again, Dr. Riddle was amazing! He even made time for us when he was on vacation. The issue is NOT Dr. Riddle or his assistant, it’s actually with his WIFE! Although I thought the first time might have been a fluke, maybe she was having a bad day and that was understandable, but when her rudeness showed for the second and third time, that is not just a fluke. As many of you may know when your pet is ill and hurting it is a really emotion time for the pet owners. We just want them to heal and be ok. When I called their office and spoke to her in regards to getting a refill on my dogs meds she said she would have to call me back and get it approved. I asked her very nicely, if she could send the rx to Sam’s Club since we recently moved and they are 40 min away now. I understand it’s not their problem that I moved, but I was hoping they could accommodate my wishes. Cindy’s response was not what I was hoping for and I just let it go, chalking it up to having ANOTHER bad day. She said it is a lot of work for them to call in a prescription and said She doubted that Sam’s Club would have the meds, but she wanted me to call over there and ask and then get a phone number for her to call the order in. I did call Sam’s and they did have the medication in stock and it was less expensive with Sam’s Club. The Vet wanted $41.00 and Sam’s Club was $9.00 for 21 pills. I left her a massage stating they do not take emails for meds and she needed to call it in. She called the next day and I missed the call, but she left me a voicemail stating she EMAILED me the rx. I knew for a fact that it was illegal to email a prescription or for me to print it off, but we went to the pharmacy with it and the pharmacist said he was unable to accept it. It was against the law to print it off. That she needed to call it in. My husband called and talked to Cindy and she said she DID NOT have time for this. Again, we felt like an inconvenience to her. Now this is the 3rd time that we have felt that way. She is ok if you are giving her money, still not the most pleasant person to deal with, that’s for sure. I have worked in customer service my whole adult life and I have never treated anyone like they were a waste of my time. She treated us like we were less than her. We have spent several hundreds of Dollars here lately and do not need to be treated with such rudeness. In the last several years I have given them many referrals through Facebook and I will no longer be doing so. Before I wrote this review I emailed The office and let them know about what had happened. Without hearing back from them I realized we did not matter to them and her behavior was ok with them. I understand, it’s his wife, but you would think she would treat his clients with respect and kindness. Again, Dr. Riddle was very nice, this issue is with his front desk/his wife!!!! We are saddened that we will no longer be bringing our pups here, but I will not support a business that is rude to their clients, especially a family owned business. Response to Dr. Riddle, I NEVER asked for free advice, and I was very appreciative about it, correct? Feel free to send me a bill for the time you took to help me out. In regards to my cousin contacting you, I’m sorry I had him contact you. I had NEVER been in that position and only trusted you! I wanted your opinion on what to do with Gracie when she broke her nail and ate the wrap. AGAIN, I appreciated you taking time away from your family to help me understand what to do. In regards to when she ate the chocolate I thought that was what you were there for. Assuming I made the right call by contacting your office to see what I was supposed to do with her. Gracie and Cocoa are the only dogs I have ever owned, and I have never been in that position where she ate so much chocolate and the wrappers. I assumed contacting you was the correct thing. The money wasn’t the issue with the rx!

I was recommended to Northwoods, and let me tell you, Northwoods is absolutely amazing, they took such great care for my 2 Rottweilers, we will now be switching to them from our other vet, or use both. Thank you so very much Northwoods ????

My cat was attacked and badly injured probably by a hawk or eagle. I called my cats regular vet at Zimm Vet and asked to be seen today. They said they could see me next Wednesday! I called North Woods in Princeton and they got him in right away even though they were very busy. Thank you so much North Woods! You are so awesome!

Very happy with Northwoods! I loved my vet but they switched to curbside only which I did not like, so I tried zimvet which was a horrible nightmare, finally I tried Northwoods and couldn’t be happier. This will be my new permanent vet. I like the vet, he is great with our pets and the ladies who work at the desk are very friendly and personable. They were so sweet about putting my mind at ease when my cat had to have surgery. He means the world to me so I was very worried. They were great about accommodating me and getting me in right away whenever I had a concern. I highly recommend!

Dr. Riddle and his staff took care of my Beagle Dexter for 12 years until he had to be put to rest yesterday. From the day 12 years ago when Dex first Met Dr. Riddle and tried to bite him until yesterday when he was there to put him down gently he has been nothing short of excellent with handling and reading Dex and he obviously cares deeply for the animals he cares for, including their boarding services which have always been excellent. A+ service by all there!

What a joke. Go somewhere else...the vet has missed a few things and we went somewhere else. The other vet was shocked that it was missed. Save your money go to a real vet..

Jeremy is phenomenal! He takes great care of our dogs, 2 labs, and our cats. One of my favorite things is that he comes down to our pets level instead of dragging them up onto a table, just an extra level of care I haven't seen before.

I changed all my pets to this vet in the beginning when he was kind of enough to take in my dog after he was hit. I don't know what happened to this vet in the time after that. When it came time to put my dog down, we asked if they did …

I was referred by my mom. I have since referred several other people! I've always had great service. They treat my furbabies like their own. My daughter had to bring her sick kitty in and they were so very good with her during her heartbreak of putting him to sleep. Same when my mom did hers. Will never go anywhere else!

Northwoods animal hospital is the place to go for anything your pets need! He has helped me and my lab Hank deal with cancer in his paw. Very reasonably priced and very caring with our animals! Thanks Doc!

I started going to Northwood because they work with Ruff Start Rescue for my fosters. Now I bring my personal dogs here. Not only do they have amazing prices but Dr Riddle is vet knowledgable and helpful. He takes the time to bond with your animal to be able to care for them. I would highly recommend Northwoods!!

We just can't rave enough about Dr. Riddle. We take our 4 dogs and 2 cats to him and also our son takes his 2 dogs and 2 cats there as well. After 25 years of going to vets, we finally found one that is AWESOME!!!! When I worry about my fur-babies he understands completely. They even have rescue kitties at the office and he works with the local rescue, Ruff Start Rescue! Prices are very reasonable & they are open late on Thursdays which helps a lot :)

Been going to Dr. Riddle for years, he is great with my dogs. Two years ago was a true test of his integrity and love of animals over money: Brought my dog, Lucky in following getting hit by a truck her hip smashed. Surgeon from St. Cloud wanted thousands to repair, we were set to put her down. Dr. Riddle offers us another option for the same budget although it required us to work closely with him and nurse her at home bringing her in for weekly checks and re-wraps she made a complete recovery! Lucky is lucky to have Dr. Riddle!

We discovered Northwoods late one night after a scuffle between our two dogs left our greyhound with a fractured canine tooth sticking out to the side. After speaking with emergency clinics in Blaine and Coon Rapids, we were told it would be $118 to simply assess his injuries, and at that, they could not perform any dental procedures, and would probably keep him overnight. Hesitant, we tried one last clinic, and were able to reach Dr. Riddle, who took calls after hours. It was instantly clear how level-headed and approachable he was as he humorously replied that he was probably having a better night than we were. He went on to assure us it did not sound like something that would otherwise risk thousands of dollars for unnecessary emergency care, and said if our guy was stable, we should stop in the next day. To avoid further injury, we actually were able to quickly move his tooth back into place (lots of peanut butter for distraction). The next day we made our way to Northwoods with a fairly happy dog, and Dr. Riddle evaluated him with time and care. The intelligence, patience, and integrity of the clinic was so impressive, and the expense of the visit was very, very affordable. We have both decided to make it our go-to veterinary hospital. Thanks, guys!
