The staff was very rude and unresponsive to the needs of my cat and the questions I had

This is more of a response. The appointment we had set was set up by a shelter and the payment would be handled by them aswell. We were told that we would not be able to speak with the vet directly with concerns about our cat that the shelter was unaware of at the time. They proceeded to tell us that we can file paperwork saying the cat is ours, which at the time already was and that we would pay additional charges. The only thing is that we didn't request extra treatment or testing on our cat and the additional charges would be speaking with the vet. Their attitude and behavior was that of a disgruntled employee with no enthusiasm for the job and zero patience. We decided to leave due to the fact that these people were not going to lay one finger on our cat and we would never support this illogical way of handling business.

Best veterinary clinic ever! So good with my cats.

I started going to Cats Preferred about 3 years ago, after a very bad experience with a former vet, to unfortunately euthanized one of my cats. Even though it was a very hard and emotional time they made my visit so much easier. They even gave me a momento of my cat's paw print. I highly recommend Cats Preferred. They are wonderful with all my cats and their human.

Extremely rude and unprofessional would not recommend bringing your pet here. We walked out as we did not feel comfortable leaving our cat with them as they way we were treated at check in was outlandish.

Was not impressed with their attitude while checking in our cat. They were very argumentative and inflexible to speaking with the vet about concerns with our cat after the scheduled check up.

A really great vet clinic! They take great care of my cat and truly care about the whole cat. My cat adores them! The ride to the vet is often a bit difficult (no shame, I would also be less than pleased to be put in a carrier and then driven to an unknown destination), but as soon as we arrive and my cat realizes where we are, he relaxes and knows things are going to be fine. They've kept up a great standard of care throughout the pandemic, and have always kept me feeling informed and safe! They're also very efficient! I took my cat in for some vaccines and a general checkup, and I noticed a Caribou a few blocks down, so I planned to go grab a coffee while I waited for my cat. They were so fast that there wasn't even time! Last time I went, the vet let me know that my cat had started purring and asking for belly rubs as soon as he stepped out of the carrier! Any vet that my cat loves that much is certainly good enough for me! I'm constantly impressed by the quality of the care they provide, and I'm so glad that I chose them.

Very pleasant steff and very gentle and caring Vet. We will be making this clinic our go-to vet for our new kitten.

8/29/21: Update After having been using Cats Preferred for over a year and now being able to enter the building during COVID-19, I can say we still love them! Watching the vet (Dr. Boetcher) and the techs, I am impressed by the care they give my cats! They are gentle, talk in soft tones, do everything they can to make my fraidy cats calm :) If you are looking for a place for your cat(s) I highly, highly recommend them! You won't be sorry! I took my kitties here after not having been in to a vet in several years. There was no shaming, just a plan for ensuring my cats are well. The vets I have worked with (Dr Schmitt and Dr Boetcher) have been wonderful! Because of Covid I’ve not been able to go in, but when speaking by phone both were very thorough, spoke in terms I could understand, very very caring and offered options for care. They also called after to make sure my cats were doing ok (the Drs themselves). The techs are also great! So helpful, kind to my cats and help to make sure I understand what has happened at the visit and what next steps are. I am so thankful for finding this veterinary office! I won’t take my cats anywhere else!

Vets are caring, prices are steeper but you receive excellent care.

Cats Preferred is the best clinic I've ever been to and I wish I had known about it sooner. We have been very impressed after every single visit for 2 years now. They are SO good with our kitties, even our very nervous and aggressive one. Prices are fair and the staff is the BEST.

Caring, safe, and a great team of pet loving individuals

We adopted Cats from The Animal Humane Society back in 2008. Having noticed a change in one cats behavior this last year, It became necessary to have that cat checked out by a Veterinary service. On the advice of my daughter, who also Uses Cats Preferred for Her Cats, We Took “Mia” in for an exam. We discovered she had become Diabetic. Having never experienced this, it felt like a big mountain to climb. The Doctors & The Technicians at Cat Preferred literally “taught” us what we needed to do. Today, Happily, Mia's Diabetes is in Remission. Our other 2 cats are also being seen by Cats Preferred! In Short, I would recommend Cats Preferred to every Cat owner! Cats Preferred is Only for Cats. The Veterinary Doctors & Technicians are all Top notch. Yes they are in the business of treating Cats but Cats are also in many ways their Hobby & their relaxation time. Maybe even Their Lives! To the entire Staff at Cats Preferred, “Mia” “Midnight” & “Tinker” Send Mrrps, Purrrs and Meowzers” From Their Humans? Cats preferred helped me in so many ways, and was so patient and sensitive with all of my overly needy questions. Short story - they treated me and my 14 yo cat like complete queens and kept me 100% informed. Such a fan of the staff. Long story - I had an appointment with my local vet for my cat Mable. She got significantly worse quickly same day, and while my locals weren’t able to get an earlier time than five days out, they were able to squeeze me in! I was so thankful, and we were very lucky for that. They saw me quickly and kept me in the know/asked what I wanted while doing tests and bloodwork, and told me when she was still anxious or comfortably sleeping in her area and not stressed out. (Big help to a worried cat mom who just lost another - 16yo Fry - just a few days before...) They treated both of us so well and were so safe and attentive, I decided to make cats preferred our main veterinarians. I can’t back them hard enough.

I have nothing but great things to say about Cats Preferred. We transferred the care of our two Maine Coons to their clinic a couple years ago after some terrible experiences at a different clinic. They do a good job of explaining their care and their charges and giving more than one option of care when possible. The doctors, techs and office staff at Cats Preferred are all courteous, knowledgeable, caring and helpful.

I have been a client for some time and have found the care to be great along with the staff and vets. They were very kind when I had to let Reggie go to the great cat tree in the sky.

I love the doctors at cats preferred! We have been bringing Our cats there for over 12 years . The only complaint I have is it feels like every time I bring a cat in They want them to have extra services down which can add up pretty quick. My cats are all indoor cats they don't go outside and I don't like the fact that they always want me to add on some sort of vaccine or blood test? I am always happy with the care my cats receive. I hope to continue utilizing their services for my 3 cats.

Three years ago the kind vets and staff at Cats Preferred helped my 18 and 21 year old kitties cross the rainbow bridge gently and with great dignity. Now they play with and love my two year old babies...I may be moving soon but I’ll gladly drive the hour plus to bring them here for their medical needs!

I took my kitten, Murphy, to Cats Preferred right when he turned 8 weeks. All of his kitten check up, shots, and appointments have been here, and the staff have been amazing to work with. He was neutered today, and I was anxious leading up to it. All of my questions were answered, and I felt comfortable with Murphy in their caring hands! Murphy loves the ladies there, and the toys they send him home with :) I absolutely recommend!

What a great place! Everyone was so nice and they know their stuff. We had to leave our beloved vet when we moved cross country but this office is a great replacement. Edit: 1 year later, Cats Preferred is still the absolute BEST. I love them more than our previously beloved vet. If you love your cat, bring them here!!!
