I usually do not leave reviews. However this is the best customer service I have received in such a long time! The employee who checks me out remembers my cat and has amazing advice. Couldn’t be more impressed!

Great place overall. They have been able to provide high quality products for my two cats needs. Make sure to sign up for the rewards program when you stop in since it has come in handy for me many times. The two cat managers are also amazing and appreciate pets. The only thing i would chance is for them to offer more snake and other reptile products but it is understandable why they wouldnt.

Really nice people, and a nice place. Very nice variety of products from litter, toys, and all of the pet food you can think of! Not a lot of stuff for reptiles but that's the only downside.

Great store with very friendly staff. Just switched this summer since I moved close by. They don't carry what I used to purchase but they were helpful in giving me alternative suggestions. Price is on par for the neighborhood.

I've been going to Urban trails for many years, it is BY FAR THE BEST pet store out there. The entire staff is so knowledgeable and also very sweet. The owners are among the most wonderful people I know, and they do free delivery. Doesn't get much better than that!!

Best pet supply store in the metro. Amazing customer service. Delivery is fast and free (used to use chewy and these guys are 1000x more reliable). Curbside pickup is a nice option too. I'm always able to get healthy treats, chews, and food for my cats and dog. Great rewards program. All their monthly specials are great and always relevant items. Truly a great small local business to support. I recommend Urban Tails and their amazing team to everyone I know.

Probably the only business on Lyndale avenue that require you to wear masks at this point... That being said, friendly staff reasonable prices and always have what I'm looking for. Only reason for the four stars is because they're a little too woke for their own good ????

This place has the best animal products. Probably the most affordable bullys in the cities. Also was able to get a bag of beef cheeks, one of the only things my dogs doesn’t crush in a half hour. There weren’t any on the shelf and the ladies were kind enough to get them. Be forewarned there is a cat loose sometimes if your pets reactive.

they are SO kind here, and there are SO. MANY. OPTIONS. for ANY pet. and often fun sale items and treats AND there's a shop cat named Veronica who is a gruff old sweetheart. also rewards program is very worth it. ????

I've only been here a handful of times but every time I never had any bad experiences. I had a very insightful discussion with Jenn about dog food and why they carry their selection. She does very thorough research and has options based off your budget. Wish I found this place sooner.

I love this small owned pet supply shop! I love that it is so close to my apartment so I can walk there! I love how covid safe they have been through everything and they have such a great rewards program which i also love! My dog loves it in there as well and they always have free samples/ free treats too!

I love it here! Great selection of cat toys, food, etc. The staff members are all very nice and helpful. There's also a couple cute cats around that really add to the ambience.

I just moved from CT to the cities. I was in search of an independent pet supply store and so happy I found urban tails pet supply. The employees were amazing pointing out the different raw options and chews. They have a huge selection!

My favorite pet store in the cities! I was lucky enough to meet the owner at one of my jobs, he was so kind and grateful when I expressed how much I love his shop and was such a down to earth guy. I’m so happy they’re open indoors and I love the array of natural and unique treats and IQ toys they carry. It was my pups first birthday yesterday and I wanted a cake for him and his litter mate to enjoy, they close at 6 (I get off of work at 6) and I called the store to ask if it would be a huge inconvenience if I showed up for pick up at 6:15 (knowing they’d be trying to close up) they were sooooo accommodating and let me know that they would have someone stick around for me to ensure I got my bag, I knocked on the window and they even addressed me by name and wished my dog a happy bday. Top tier customer service and such a cute place!

I'm really happy to have found this place after moving to Minneapolis with my kittens. Very high quality and wide selection of food and care items, with fair pricing as well. And I always learn something new with each visit about what kind of products suit my cats, the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful in finding exactly what my boys need.

Love this little shop! Close to home!

Unique items, however... cleanliness makes it standoffish, a bit. The staff was friendly, but overall, wasn't too impressed.

I already loved this store, but after meeting the owner yesterday I love it even more. My fiance and I headed over there not knowing when it was closing. we got there just as the owner was locking the door. He let us know that they were closed for the day. And I said that's okay we can come back tomorrow for minnows. The owner was like "the dried minnows?" I explained how my cat had been lost in the freezing cold in February for 3 weeks. He is on a no carbohydrate starvation recovery diet. He loves minnows more than anything and that's a treat he's allowed to have. But I had just run out. The owner went inside the store got the largest bag of minnows they had and told me just to take them that he was happy my cat was home and recovering. It was so kind of him and really shows how much he cares for animals.

My girl loves this store. It's closer to home and they have my cat a free gift bag!!
