We have been taking our 3 dogs and 1 cat here for years. Middle 2020 our lab passes and Oakwood was amazing! They made his passing so much easier and were really compassionate to our loss. We recently got a new puppy and they continue to give us fantastic support and love to our pets!

I have been a client of Dr. Williamson for about 14 years. I have had up to 3 dogs and 2 cats, all of whom have seen her. He diagnostic abilities are amazing! The support staff if loving and kind. As a team they function as no other pet health care facility I have been to. No details go unchecked. They have excellent referral options if needed. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who wants the best possible care for their beloved animals.

I absolutely love this vet! I take my 2 dogs here and my parents also take their dogs here and we have all had only wonderful experiences. One of my dogs is extremely dog reactive and they make sure when she comes in, there aren't any other dogs around. They have gone out of their way multiple times to schedule us last minute and their prices are unbeatable. The veterinarians, vet techs, and receptionists are all very personable and take the time to get to know you and your dog. Highly recommend!

Great people and my new regular vet

This used to be a great vet, but has gone downhill in the last year or so. I have been told that I would get a call back regarding a K9 flu shot since the boarding facility requires it, but a week later, nothing. When I call them, they have no idea what I am talking about. I am in the process of finding a new vet.

Oakwood is the best clinic in the city. The doctors are amazing, compassionate and talented. We have followed Dr Pounds for 20 years plus, and she has always had our pets best interest at heart. I can't recommend Oakwood pet clinic highly enough!

I took my dogs and cat to this clinic for many years. When I started to notice loss in appetite for my 18 year old chihuahua/begal I took him into this clinic. I was told he'd be fine after some tests. Took him in a second time and was told he'd be fine after more tests. Well my dog didn't look fine so I took him to an accredited veterinarian in St. Paul. Found out he had kidney diseases, a heart murmur, his body was eating his muscles and minor teeth problems. Well at this point it had been going on for years and years but was never caught by Oakwood pet clinic. I urge you not to go here. This 'doctor' doesn't know more than the basics. She never suggested any test that my dog needed. Although we did spend about a grand with her in those two visits. My dog who did and still does mean a lot to me died. I feel because of the incompate so called doctor. If you have been here you know who I'm talking about, the veterinarian who owns the clinic.

Awesome vets!!! Your animals will be in the best care they can get, with no unnecessary testing! The people that work here really do care about each pet and owner. They are amazing!!! Won't ever go anywhere else.

I highly recommend Oakwood Pet Clinic. All the Drs are fantastic as are the vet techs. I am currently taking care of a elder 14 year old large dog - Bowzers. He has vestibular disease that came on suddenly and the symptoms are scary. Dr Barb Arend saw him first. The care, advice and treatment thus far has made this time much easier, as difficult as it is. Dr. Clarissa Williamson came out to my house on a Friday night during the New Years holidays to give Bowzers treatment because I was unable to get him in the car. He was unable to walk. This is just above and beyond care. I just can’t say enough good things. We’re optimistic he’ll pull through. And I can have peace in knowing he is in good hands.

Oakwood Clinic and Dr. Willamson are the best! I have had many cats over the years of Showing Cats and she really knows her stuff. Some vets are really good with dogs but not cats SHE IS GREAT WITH BOTH! I highly recommend her and her staff!

I don't remember the vet's name, but I've been going here for a few years for my two cats. The vet care is very professional and scheduling is convenient and quick. They are available to answer questions over the phone and take the time to make sure you know what's going on with your pet.
