All the staff here are wonderful, and my pup must have loved them! It was the quickest visit he's ever had. I plan on making this Leo's regular vet!

We have been going to Northbrook animal hospital for years with our little dog Mollie. Dr. Mcmahon and the wonderful staff take great care of her. They answer all my questions and keep me well-informed so that I can make the best choices for her care. I fully trust Dr. Mcmahon and her staff to take care of my sweet little dog. I highly recommend them to everyone I know! ????

Dr Monica has horrible bedside manner and seemed irritated to give my cat an exam, when I asked to consult my partner on course of treatment she threw a tantrum and threatened to charge me an additional charge if I left the building to talk to her. Would not answer questions about her diagnosis not specific treatment methods. Only concerned about taking your money.

Was able to get an appointment and have our pet seen on the same day. Dr. did an exam ,went over everything with me. Great care, great clinic!

Do they do ear cleaning ?

We have been taking our dogs here for over 10 years and love it. Dr. McMahon (hoping I spelled that right!) is so great and always understanding. I feel like the employees know all their clients- human & aninals- by name.

Great doctors great customer service they are so excellent with your dog... If you are looking for a veterinarian hospital please go there.????

Very thorough and gentle with my dogs. They take care of cats as well. Don't know about other pets.

The employee who came to collect my cats were very helpful and informative during and after the curbside appointment. I was nervous to not be able to be with my cats during their appointment but the vet said my kitties did very well. My biggest plus is that they don't overcharge for their services and that they're super friendly.

Always an amazing experience - so caring and insightful! Thanks for taking great care of Indy! We initial chose them because they were so close to our home but we moved 20+ minutes away and still come back - totally worth the drive!

Staff seems nice. Reasonably priced. It's hard to review the Vet during this covid time because we can't go in and everyone's on edge, or at least I'll chock it up to that. Maybe they were just having a bad day... who knows. I'll give them another try though.

These guys are very friendly and helpful, and even call to check up on our little furry friends after recent visits, to make sure everything is going okay. An update to my previous review. I can’t say enough nice things about Northbrook, their vet techs, and veterinarians. They are so friendly, and accommodating. You can genuinely see the passion for animals and their well being with everything Northbrook does. The majority of reviews for Northbrook will reiterate what I have said, however, I’ve seen some other reviews on here trying to paint Northbrook in a negative light for things that aren’t even their fault. Don’t listen to those reviews. These guys will provide a level of service to you and your furry family members that won’t be exceeded anywhere else.

We took Rosie our Shiba Inu there. She is very particular and vocal at vet visits. They did amazing with her. Dr. McMahon was extremely patient with Rosie and the techs were so kind to me and Ms Rosie. We will definitely be making Northbrook our regular vet going forward!

Moved to Brooklyn Park about a year ago and had to find a new vet. Not only is this site close to home, but it has that great, local clinic care. The vets and supporting staff are kind, patient, and share great advice to keep our three cats healthy and happy. Service is quick and easy. They know all the tricks to care for even our most hyper/finicky kitty!

I have been taking my cats here for over a decade. Every vet tech, and of course Dr. McMahon treats them with and respect. My cats have never enjoyed the vet, but they have always gotten excellent care. I trust them and would recommend to anyone.

Absolutely top notch from the staff to Auntie “M”. Very thorough and understanding that these guys and gals are my kids. I wish my health care was as kind and understanding and would take the time to Listen and then Explain like “M” does.

They truly care about your pets and get to know each of their personalities. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I've never had an issue with this place since I first started taking my dog here (who I adopted in 2015) until recently during COVID times. I made an appointment at 11:15am and they confirmed it through email. The day of the appointment, I arrived a few minutes early but received a phone call (literally 2 minutes before my appointment) saying they were going to have to reschedule because I was "late". I was already in the parking lot by this time and spoke to the front desk lady as she came out with another client (since they were doing curb side). I was very annoyed of course and told her that I made my appointment for 11:15, NOT 11:00 which was what the lady said they put me down for. I showed her proof of the email confirmation of my initial appointment time and there was no way they were going to deny me service for THEIR miscommunication. I'll probably be looking for a new vet after this incident because that was pretty unacceptable.

Northbrook is a caring and loving place to take my Bella. They are very professional. Bella is never afraid when we go there. I highly recommend the Doctors and staff!

Northbrook years ago helped with my dog Tracy get all the steps done to be able to go to Hawaii. They also were there at the end of her life and still have her picture in the office! Today they have been the place my cat Jack has gone to and they’re so amazing and caring! You walk in and feel so welcomed and that they truly care about you and your animals!

Recommended by a friend who takes her dog and cat to Northbrook. I took my newly adopted senior cat to Northbrook Animal Hospital for shots and a checkup. The doctors and staff took excellent care of my cat, who was pretty nervous and didn't like being handled. They were compassionate and professional with a cat who was not very cooperative. There are separate waiting rooms for dogs and cats, so my cat wasn't exposed to a dog who might make her more nervous.
