The. Best. Period. We’ve been going to Dr. Amos @ Nokomis Pet Clinic for over 10+ years with our lab Elsie. He’s literally saved her life twice in that time! Our family is beyond grateful for the thoughtful care we’ve received at Nokomis Pet. We continue to go to Nokomis Pet even after moving out of the neighborhood years ago.

Love this clinic! Dr. Amos takes a lot of time with each pet. He is very thoughtful about providing the right care without pushing the owner to take on a financial commitment they cannot assume.

We went for our cat. He couldn't pee. They checked everything for 8 hours than give some medicines. We used and our cat is good now. This is emergency clinic. They care in the order of emergency. You know you can wait a long time.

This clinic, you feel like your four legged family is being looked at by a family doctor. One and only place I entrust their docs to look out for the four legged family members. Dr. Amos and the crew are the best and always provide great care for my Gert! He doesn’t mind spending time out of his day explaining things that I can do on my own to improve the health of my cat.

A super neighborhood vet. All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Dr. Amos and his staff are top notch. You can tell they really care about their patients and owners. They always have treats and pets ready. We have seen them for about 7 years and have had basic checkups to rainbow bridge crossings and they always handle with care. They are also doing great work during the pandemic. I feel totally safe going there. They also share their office space with a pet dermatologists so you can really get all your pets needs in one place.

I’ve had such a wonderful experience here with my cat Leo. The staff and Dr. Amos have always talked through any concerns I have and given me great suggestions. Believe it or not, every time I come back from Nokomis Pet Clinic, my kitty goes right back into his carrier and meows at me to take him back (he loves Dr. Amos and the both the staff there!) Highly recommend Nokomis Pet Clinic to everyone, especially cat owners!

Dr Amos and his staff is the best You can tell he really cares about animals he takes the time to explain everything to you. I recommend him to everyone. I have been bringing my pets there since he opened. He's also great with aggressive dogs like mine was...I would give him 100 stars if possible

We have gone to Nokomis Pet Clinic for 5 years. They are great. Our dog has had Lymes disease and they were quick to diagnose and prescribe medicine. The dog later needed surgery for cyst removal and they did a clean, professional job at an affordable rate. They aren't the cheapest clinic, but you get what you pay for. I would trust Dr. Amos with any pet. He can be curt, but he is smart, competent and a true professional. I recommend to all my friends.

My dog Cleo saw both Dr. Amos and Dr. Parks at Nokomis Pet Clinic while we lived in Minneapolis, and I cannot recommend this place enough. Everyone working there is thorough, responsive, and non-alarmist (which is sometimes hard to find in animal care in my experience). Dr. Amos and Dr. Parks are clearly very knowledgeable about all aspects of raising a dog. Everyone is beyond sweet to the pets that visit. Cleo always enjoyed visiting their office and would try to route us there on walks even when we didn't have an appointment, so if that doesn't endorse how smooth the experience is there, I don't know what does. 10/10

Dr Amos is ABSOLUTELY excellent!! He's very thorough when explaining my dogs concerns whether it be the food they should be eating to bad habits that need to be addressed. He's been our vet to both our dogs for years and hopefully for many more years to come!!
