This was the second vet clinic I tried when I adopted my dog, and I’ve stuck with them since. Dr. Harris is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but very easy to talk to and put your trust in. I’ve now recommended MetroPet to several friends, all of whom have also had very positive experiences!

Six stars out of five. I have seen many vets in many places over the years and Dr. Harris is far and away the best I've ever encountered. No one else will ever see my pets and if she ever gives up her practice I'll stop having pets.

I brought my cat Stella in today because she had been itching her ears a lot. We were seen by Dr. Kristin who diagnosed it as an ear infection and gave me medicine to put in her ears. I really liked her. I liked the way she was with my cat; firm but gentle. I felt like the exam went very well considering that my cat typically does not respond well to bring restrained. She was very professional, and willing to thoroughly answer all of my questions. Some vets can seem kinda rushed and she did not. I also really liked the vet tech, who also did a good job handling Stella. I can't remember her name but she was great, too! I'll definitely bring my cat back to Metro Pet! Thank you Dr. Kristin. My cat had been sleeping a lot more and hadn't been greeting me at the door but tonight when I got home she was at the door twining through my legs like usual so I can tell that my cat is already feeling better from the medicine.

I can’t go on enough about this place. We visited once and knew that we wanted to continue coming for all future pet care. We were heard, taken seriously and it was obvious how much everyone there genuinely cares about your pets. Dr. Harris is extremely thorough, kind, attentive and unbelievably wise. She saw us last minute, really, and did a consultation on behalf of us for an orthopedic surgeon for our pup. I was really anxious and pretty emotionally spent previously but I left Metro Pet, I felt so much more encouraged and positive. Not a fan of curbside pet care . I like to be present and involved. Its time to get vaccinated. I was a bit deceived and overcharged for flea tick and heart worm meds. Consider other vet options if available. The dr. is knowledgeable as far as I know, never met her.

Last summer I adopted two cats (from a stray litter) and only just got around to getting them their initial vaccinations and scheduling their neutering surgery. The staff was totally non-judgemental about the length of time that had passed and extremely accommodating. I work 48+ hrs a week and they worked around my schedule, allowing me to drop them off bright and early, and pick them up at the end of the day. The cost of care was reasonable. For the initial exam, feline leukemia testing, vaccinations for feline leukemia and rabies plus deworming (or maybe that's for dogs? If so, whatever the cat equivalent) was just under $300 for both cats. The neuter surgeries are scheduled for a few weeks from now and I was quoted just under $200 for that. While $500 is pretty expensive for me, they do take care credit, which is a pretty good option. The only downside to this vet is the parking situation. They don't have dedicated parking, so it was a bit of a scramble to find a spot and carry both carriers in. I ended up partially parked in the bus stop zone and they took my kitties from me at the door and I called in when I was at work and they filled the paperwork out with me over the phone. There are a few spaces in the alley that are marked for other businesses (don't park in the apartment parking!!) that I was advised of for when I picked up my kitties, so that's on me for not asking in advance. All in all, pretty pleased with my experience!

They saved my cats life on a Saturday. Dr Harris is compassionate, explains everything so well, and takes our individual situation into account. Best vet I have ever had.

It was a great and easy experience! I'm not super familiar with Minneapolis so the entrance was hard to find but overall a great experience and they took great care of our little kitty.

We started going to this location before Dr. Harris took over (almost 20 years ago). After learned that the clinic had undergone an ownership transition I thought great, now we can find a vet closer to our own neighborhood (in St Paul) but after 1 visit we lost all desire to switch.Through all of the joys and sorrows (when its time to say goodbye) we are appreciative of Dr. Harris. We have always felt like she is on our team and gotten quality care and advice.

We recently adopted our dog Tina through Twin Cities Pet Rescue and MetroPet has been by our side through being first time pet parents. Dr. Harris and her team is understanding and always willing to answer questions. Our tiny Tina is our number one priority and we couldn't imagine putting her in better hands!

Dr. Harris and the team are wonderful! My kitty was diagnosed with diabetes and they were so helpful and respectful. They truly care about the wellbeing of my fur baby and are quick to respond to questions and concerns. They make me feel so taken care of, and it's a great peace of mind to know I have them to back me up! I highly recommend Metro Pet!

I just got a dog and never had a vet up here. I originally just went because they were walking distance, but they were so friendly and personable that it made me love the place. I will for sure be seeing them again for my future visits

MetroPet is a trusted advisor in the care of our pets. I dont live in Minneapolis anymore (suburbs, wah-wah), but I go to MetroPet when I need trusted care for our pets (outside of routine maintenance). Thank you for being awesome!

They are so nice and helpful

We have been seeing Dr. Harris for several years at this point. There is no one we've ever trusted more with the care of our beloved pets. She is so sincerely kind and caring. In our experience she's a straight-shooter and never tries to sell us on unnecessary anything. I cannot believe I have waited until now to write this review. The staff at MPAH is also stellar. Good humans.

We've been bringing our cat here for years and I just remembered to leave a review. Metro Pet is so caring and good to us and our cat that I'd go here for my own personal healthcare (if I could!). They are seriously THE BEST!

Despite giving my dog preventatives, my little girl was diagnosed with heartworm at her yearly checkup. I am beyond grateful that Dr. Harris caught it early and we had a successful treatment intervention. She was so patient with our questions and was easy to get ahold of if we needed to speak with her. Fast forward a few years, we continue to bring our dog to MetroPet (going on 5 years now) after moving away from uptown. Dr. Harris and her team are excellent at what they do and genuinely care about your pets health. I can not recommend MetroPet enough!

This Vets office is the best. They are so wonderful and accommodating for our special needs dog. Growing up, my family had dogs and lots of wonderful vets over the years, however I would say that Dr. Kristen Harris and her staff are above and beyond all of them.

I can't thank enough to this place. I have been taking my cats there for almost 2 years. They are always nice and always available for you. 4 years ago, I used to go to a different vet in Lyndale.. When my cat, Dusty, was very sick I called that other place in Lyndale I knew my cat was suffering so I decided to put him down. The Lyndale place told me... They don't have any more opennings that day.. I explained them the situation.. But they told me the same.. Like I needed to wait, dusty needed to wait a few more days..????.... So..... I called metropet ????.. It was almost 6pm.. They were about to close.. But I explained the situation.. And they understood... They let me in the same day... I think it was within the same hour.. They stayed with me and dusty even after 6pm. They helped dusty when he needed it.. That is why I recommend this place...
