This a great place to bring your cats. I don't know why my Milo ran and hid under the bed when I got the pet taxi out and made us late. Boy, he was mad at me! He liked you guys tho. You guys were so nice and so friendly and treated Milo with great care. He just needed 2 shots and his back claws trimmed, but all in all, it was good. We didn't have to wait long at all. Thanks guys. When we got home, I let him out of the "pet jail taxi" and he ran into the bedroom and under the covers he went. He slept for 12 hours. I kept checking on him to make sure he was ok, but he was just fine. Great experience! Thanks again! ~ Scott & Milo ♥️

Everyone there is friendly. Helpful advice giving as well. Must not be too dramatic of an experience on the cat's end either. JoJo is already running around. Thank you. Definitely the vet for cats.

Dr. Mike is the sweetest, kindest caretaker for your kitty you could ever want. And it reflects in his staff.

They had always been my vet for my cats for 20 years , I guess things change. I Called for help and got someone who seemed as if they had just woke up. Dis interested, couldn't care attitude. Keep up that great customer service ????I will find someone who cares, not going back.

The receptionists were good, but what really upset me was the lack of care from the doctor. I took my 1 yr old cat there multiple times within a few months due to issues he’d been having. Each time it wouldn’t only cost me an arm and a leg to not be given a straight answer, but the doctor didn’t give me any sort of idea of what to do next. I would call multiple times to talk to the Dr to discuss his condition, but I would never get a call back. My cats condition has only gotten worse until I found a NEW vet and a doctor that actually cares (Edina pet hospital). I never write bad reviews but come on- this is a cat specific vet. Why does the Dr not seem to care about my kitty’s health or try to come up with new solutions? It’s just frustrating.

I have never encountered a more unprofessional vet. I have the most playful, loving cat but he definitely does not do well at the vet. It took all of 5 minutes for the vet to call me after dropping him off to inform me they will not conduct the wellness exam or administer vaccines because he was hissing at the employees. On top of that, the vet tech who returned my cat to the curb said they used to have a cat who didn't do well at the vet so they stopped taking him altogether...what kind of advice is that. Unless your cat LOVES the vet (whose cat does...?) I would recommend taking them elsewhere.

Waste of time. Traumatized my cats by putting them in carriers just to head over there and wait for the doctor to call. It was unnecessary and a waste of time. I just wanted a check up on my cats, but instead I waited outside and spoke on the phone for ten minutes while the doctor rambled on with irrelevant nonsense. They could have just called me without having to bring them over, since they only brought my cats in for less than a minute. Do not recommend this place.

I always get my special diet cat food here and will continue to even though I moved a bit further away. The service is always friendly and they still do Covid appropriate pick up which I really appreciate. Parking lot is a bit inconvenient shape but there’s not usually too many cars there when I’ve been.

I wish I could give an actual review of their services. The place never called me back. I'm have to find a vet for my cats somewhere else.

Dr. Mac is brilliant. To save others from relentless review searches, I'll break out down for yall: There's ONE front staff member that seems to have a problem with her attitude. And I'm POSITIVE she knows of it as she appeared to give Dr Mac the SAME dismissive and arrogant attitude, even after I was sure to make comments about her attitude while talking to my daughter in the waiting area. Waiting area is approx 10ftx 15ft. Poor guy...He walked away without arguing her. She gave him a very rude remark about paperwork he was searching for. In FRONT of me. While I was checking out. Side note: She also had the unprofessional audacity to tell a different client over the phone how miserable cats make her because of her allergies..... (WHY work at a cat clinic then?? It's not the public's fault OR the doctor's fault you chose this job, right?) I arrived 15 minutes late due to traffic. I called the clinic to warn of my lateness, but I had a secondary issue.... AC went out in my car yesterday. I called the clinic yesterday to see if I could come inside right away due to the heat and I was assured it would be OK. I even offered to reschedule. And was told that it was not an issue to just come inside. (At the current time of this post, owners wait in their cars and the cats are taken in for exams without you. And this is covid safety measures for the beloved staff). The problematic employee answered my call when I arrived and I told her I was given permission to come inside. Her immediate remark to me was that my cat would "be seen when possible". I stated again that I had no air conditioning at the moment and was told I could come inside with my cat right away. The immediate remark to me was, "well you're 15 minutes late so"..... I stated for a THIRD time that my elderly cat(18 years of age) needed to be in air conditioning while waiting and that I was given permission. Only after a snotty remark about just "waiting in an exam room then" was I hung up on and allowed into the lobby. And NOT an exam room. So there is CLEARLY a problem with staff dynamics there. And communication. And again, seems to fall on the attitude of ONE problematic employee. (I get it, we all have bad days... but really? Some of the things said to me and in my presence were just... disgraceful..) All other staff were very friendly and helpful. And they handled my kitty with the utmost respect. They seemed to have an abundance of patient records there. I am not sure if they are up to date or current, but it looked to be an overwhelming amount of patients for one doctor with a dysfunctional staff. In the end, my kitty got the care I expected, the problem employee was a total sweetheart at check out and services were much more affordable than I expected. It was suggested that I do extra blood work for preventative care. And that I update vaccines. But no unnecessary work was suggested. No games were had with diagnosis and I truly trust the knowledge of this team. My end summary: (TLDR) STAFF: Courteous but need to work on respectful and timely communication with one another. (And with guests) CLEANLINESS: Clean!! Disorganized but clean. Building needs some TLC but I am a professional cleaner and can assure you, it is clean. CARE: Exactly what I would expect from a team handling my beloved animals. PRICE: MUCH more affordable than the vet a block away from me. THE TAKEAWAY: If you have a simple need, then these guys are fast and affordable. Again, only one staff member seems to be the cause of these bad reviews. And hopefully she checks herself before she loses the job. The doctor was the sweetest guy imaginable. And the clinic team is very knowledgeable. If I need something routine, and no one else is there? I'd come again. But for now? I'll probably just pay more for that vet a block away.

Great place! I have a very difficult cat that gets very nervous in new places and they were so accommodating it didn’t work out for him the first appointment but they were so willing to reschedule and they were flexible as well :-)

The vet tech here David I believe his name was is an true ambassador to pets. My cat bit a staff the first neuter appt. I felt terrible. I was late picking up my kitty at first appt, David stayed 2 hours past his shift for me So could get my cat. Not once did he lose his patience and was so kind and gracious with my cat as he waited. I'm pressed with the great service all around. The phone call to remind me of appt. The excellent pre and post surgical instructions. Very punctual and professional. I'm glad they rescheduled my kitty neuter so fast aeven though he bit a tech the first appt. He's never bit anyone since and out of character for him. I appreciate staffs tolerance of such unpleasant occurrences. Thank You Kitty Klinic! The( baby kitty) " B k i"s as you all named him, is telling all his pals on the block that he has new friends at the Kitty Klinic for life. Meow, Purr Purr.

I want to write a review for Kitty Klinic based on my experience with them over the years. My cat Melo was serviced by Kitty Klinic was three years before she passed. Mr. McMenomy is a knowledgeable, emphatic doctor. He did his best in helping Melo through her pain and would return my calls in the evenings after his work day. The phone staff can sometimes be a little "short" with you but they fulfill their roles adequately. I was able to get pay and pick for medication, schedule appointments, and ask questions. Dr. McMenomy, if you read this, thank you so much for your care of Melo. She was an amazing cat and you were immensely helpful during her last year. Thank you for helping me through the pain of loss. Bless you and all the best for Kitty Klinic.

I called to schedule a exam including a dental exam (my cats started drooling) on a Thursday morning right at open for my cat. The receptionist was not the friendliest and explained that I might want to continue calling around because they were busy that day for an appointment but that veterinary would call me back and let me know if he would like to see my cat. I thought that was odd and as recommended I continued to look around for other vets. I never got a call back Thursday and honestly forgot all about the kitty clinic. Fast forward to Sunday evening at 9pm.. I receive a call from a blocked caller ID, I don't answer and then receive a voicemail. The voicemail is from the kitty clinic DR just shy 5 days later saying that he does not have an interest in doing dental on cats and that I should probably look for a different vet that does and that drooling could be a sign of something serious in a cat as they normally don't do that so I should get him in soon! I found that very unprofessional. 1. If it isn't something you have an interest in doing you shouldn't have it listed and also if it's something serious, maybe call the client back sooner than 5 days even if you don't have an interest in taking them, and don't call back on a Sunday at 9 pm! I would not recommend this place!

Just recently got a new cat, and like any responsible owner I am in the market for a vet, as well as looking into insurance options as I think that would be a good thing to do. This place is literally up the block so I thought heck yea this is perfect! Unfortunately upon calling them I was greeted by someone who seemed to have no business being in the veterinary industry as a apathy, last time I checked is not a good trait to have. The Lady put me on hold, which is fine. What wasn’t fine is the pretentious attitude and unhelpful demeanor of someone who is supposed to be caring for a loved family member. Sucks because they are literally right there

I've been taking my cat to this clinic for about three years now and would highly recommend it for other cat lovers! I call them with questions even when I don't need to take in my cat and they give me such thoughtful answers. The last issue I had was that my cat went outside of her litterbox. I called because I wanted to be sure this wasn't a medical concern since it had never happened before. The woman I spoke to asked me questions and pretty quickly we came to what we thought was the issue. She even asked that I call back to tell her how it turned out and if her advice worked (which it did)! A lot of the reviews say that they have been hung up on or not helped and this is just the opposite of my experience. The entire staff have been nothing but helpful and concerned for the health of my cat.

Keep leaving bad reviews if you had a bad experience!!! The only reason I ever chose this place right off the bat was because of the high ratings. Only to realize all the one star ratings have multiple likes. (this review initially hit 12 likes but that doesn’t bring the overall rating down fast enough!) Rude, careless employees. They will only help if they get every bit of money they can from you, despite informing that they help over the phone...THEY DO NOT. I brought my cat in 4 days ago for a 5:30pm appointment. My cats eyes were tearing with discharge on the first day of me bringing him home from the Humane Society. The Humane Society provides one free FULL exam and one free 30-day prescription for your adopted cat within 14 days of adoption. I waited for 30 minutes in the waiting room before being seen late at 6pm. The vet, Dr. Mike McMenomy, claiming to be the “best vet in the world”, tousled my cat around the exam table aggressively and quickly, took the temperature and heartbeat, told me the temperature was slightly above average, gave my cat one eye-drop, told me that cats often develop a respiratory disease from the humane society and that there is also a known bug going around. He gave me absolutely no more information than that on my cats health status. He said to call back in a few days if my cat started wheezing, and that they would fill us a prescription entirely over the phone. Today I called back for the prescription. My cat has been wheezing and sneezing and in discomfort. The first lady that answered was very sweet and informative, seemed helpful. After waiting on hold for an excessive amount of time after that, the man that “helped” me, took quite awhile to understand what I was calling about and to read my cat’s files and come to terms with what the situation was. Finally after being put on hold 2 more times by him, he said there was 2 types of wheezes and I would need to bring the cat in to examine it. I asked if it was included in the free checkup and he put us on hold again, randomly, and then came back and said “if you chose to keep your cat, its going to be ~$60 out-of-pocket plus whatever the prescription will be” I told him I was instructed to call back if my cat was wheezing and they would fill a prescription and he said “okay, FINE” and explained that they dont profit off of the free checkup’s the Humane Society provides and that that was all he could do. This was an extremely rude experience all around with extremely rude people who did not seem to care about my cat, in addition to adding snarky comments. I would highly recommend trying any other clinic first over this one.

The poor condition of the building and the other bad reviews should have been an indication of what to expect, but, we just moved to the area and our cat needed shots and was struggling with coughing and sneezing so we wanted to get him looked at. Our cat has had no problem with several other vets that are nice and let the cat walk around the room first. Due to COVID we can’t go inside but I’m assuming, like the other reviews mention, the vet just grabbed the cat by the neck and forced it down on the first visit. So when we went back for a follow-up appointment it sounds like our cat was terrified of the vet and apparently when the vet went to grab him the cat, it was “striking [him] and he cannot see the cat without a tranquilizer, but [he’d] strongly recommend an in-home vet”. Keep in mind, our cat is a small little guy, not a lion or tiger. What kind of vet can’t handle a cat swatting at them?! Not to mention our cat doesn’t have claws, hasn’t done that before, when we got him back he was totally calm, and in that scenario the top of the carrier can be removed completely for easy access to the cat. My recommendation: Only bring your cat here if it’s an emergency, and it’s completely docile (or perhaps has no terrifying legs). You can see why he doesn’t handle dogs, but sheesh, maybe focus only on Small Animals there guy.

I only scheduled here originally because I wanted my cat neutered ASAP. It ended up being such a great experience I’ll always bring my cat here. As a first time cat owner I get nervous and overreact but the staff (I’ve talked with Jan, Danielle, and Dain) is always so sweet and reassuring to me. Dr. Mike cracks me up and really loves the animals. They’re also super upfront about pricing which is nice and I feel they’ve got great customer service while still being genuine. Plus they make seeing a vet during COVID so easy. All around great place!
