Very professional and compassionate. My kitty needed to be helped to move on from jaw cancer. And the staff at East Lake Animal Clinic were very compassionate and understanding during this extremely sad time.

Best staff, they're always excited to see my dog and recognize her. Great COVID protocol, feel really safe. They've recently added some awesome technology with an app, appointment reminders and scheduling, etc.

Great care, communicative team. Prices fair. Been going here 9+ years.

We love East lake animal clinic. Dr Olson has taken such good care of our animals for years, and all of the other staff there are kind. We take both dogs and cats there and have been pleased with the care all of them have gotten.

I take all my pets here. They did a great job with pandemic precautions. They also got to know each of my pets and their individual needs. One of my dogs doesn't do well at vets, so they work with her to bring her in and out as quickly as possible to minimize her anxiety. I plan on being a long-term client here.

Have had nothing but bad experiences here. Will not be bringing my animals back.

I really appreciated Dr. Cherie’s patience with us as new puppy parents. We got all our questions answered and even a follow up email for one of our concerns. She allowed me to video nail clipping so we could feel comfortable doing it at home for our puppy. So happy to have a great Vet and clinic in the neighborhood!

Was able to get a antibiotic for my dog while we were out of town and it was mistakenly thrown. Thanks Guys!

Our dog gets excited when she realizes she going here. Staff takes great care of all three of our animals. We're lucky to have them in the neighborhood.

Pricing is similar to other vets around the area, and when my cat was diagnosed with asthma (which was expected) they even gave me information on how to get his prescriptions cheaper than buying them from the typical american pharmacy!

The East lake Street animal clinic is one of the best vets in town. The fact that it's in my own neighborhood only makes it sweeter! Wonderful veterinarians, great customer service, always prompt and very helpful.

Be aware that if you schedule a new patient appointment with this practice, they have a banned-for-life if you no-show policy, which they do NOT notify you of when booking the appointment. They'll send you one text reminder 48 hours before the appointment (which doesn't mention this policy either), and even if you do not confirm the appointment by replying "C" to the text, they don't call you for a reminder for the appointment. This is an extremely strict policy and very upsetting considering I waited several weeks to get in for a new medical problem my dog has. Yes-- 100% my fault that I missed the appointment-- but when I didn't reply confirm your text reminder, and then you didn't do a backup reminder call, things can slip through the cracks. Set yourself multiple backup reminders if booking with this practice. No option either to pay a fee or do anything to make another appointment -- banned for life from the practice. I have had my dog for 8 years and no-showed one appointment in her life -- today. Unfair policy.

I can't emphasize enough how great this place is. The staff is so thorough, patient, and easy to work with. After bringing our cats here a few times, I can't imagine bringing them anywhere else. Highly recommend!

We love East Lake Animal Clinic! I have been taking my cats there for a couple of years and everyone that works there is so kind and professional. I have quite a cranky cat and they are always so patient and good with him. They always let me know of the costs beforehand and don't try to sell me on things that aren't necessary. I highly recommend!

They figured out why our dog kept getting sick. We thought he was allergic to grain. Turns out he can’t digest protein. So we get him a food that has hydrogenated protein. Who knew?!

Strange. This clinic is more willing to schedule appointments just so you can ask a vet questions and repeat physical examinations. And the erratic duration of visits explains this well. Ask how long your visit will be before you schedule it. If you come in for just yearly checkups and vaccines, it might be fine but I've found it really difficult to be able to ask a vet/vet tech questions before an actual appointment. Which has not been my experience at other vets so I'm going to shop around

Loved our clinic in Illinois with Dr Knoll and didnt think we would find another great clinic. We had been to couple previously before we came here and wasnt really impressed. I was referred to Dr Travis he was honestly great! So pleased with him and his staff with how they handled our furbabies. Even though they were a bit pricier than our last vet in Illinois I would still recommend 100%!

They f gave my pup lots of attention and answered my questions and gave me options. All really good service.

Dr. Travis Anderson is a wonderful vet. My dog loves him. We followed him here from another vet clinic because other veterinarians made my dog nervous. When we went to our first appointment at East Lake, Dr. Anderson recognized my dog right away and Archer was a happy camper after his visit.

Wonderful to my pup. She was vry nervous but they handled her very well.

This is a very fine clinic, with compassionate, patient, understanding vets and staff. The only drawback is that it can sometimes be difficult to make an appointment--they are busy, which is easy to understand given the level of service. When I needed my cat seen sooner than they were able to provide, they were very helpful and understanding in sending my cat's records to another clinic. I have dealt wtih two docs--Ashley Thomson and Travis Anderson--and found them both understanding and willing to take as much time as I needed to get my questions answered. I can't speak to their pricing, I don't have enough experience with other clinics, but it seems normal. Highly recommended by us and our cats.

I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dog, Dobby! The staff I see are always patient and answer every question clearly and fully; I appreciate the time they take with their patients and us pet parents. They really care about the animals in their care!

We love taking our cats here, especially to Dr.Olson. He goes above and beyond! He will even call for an update to make sure things are going okay and doesn't just wait for us to make an appointment.

Took my cat here in December for vaccines and yearly exam. Had a few specific concerns. They did the vaccines fine but the vet did a VERY cursory physical exam. Then told me every concern I had was probably behavioral. She’s still having trouble so I took her back to my old vet and learned she has periodontal disease to the point that she needs 3 tooth extractions that are probably causing pain. The same pain I was concerned about in December. Periodontal disease this advanced should have been easily caught by the East Lake vets. Got home and also saw on my invoice that they had charged me for a fecal smear they never did! I will never bring another animal here or recommend to anyone.

My cat loved it here.

Won't take my pets anywhere else.

Always great with my animals and usually can get an appointment quickly.
