We took our kitten there recently to be neutered and the procedure was quick and working with the staff to arrange the curbside drop off/pick up for before and after was smooth! The vet called right after the surgery was completed to give an update on how it went

I took my dog to see vet Linnea Thiem and I really liked her. She empathized with me when I told her the issues that my dog have experienced. I am so happy that ever since then my dog has gotten better. Thank you so much Linnea!

My husband and I have been bringing our dogs there for over 30 years and they have always been great. But the service there has changed dramatically and not for the better. I called today because our dog Sam seems to be having trouble with his eyes. The woman who answered the phone was rude and not helpful at all. She said they didn't have an opening until 0ct.23. It's the 8th. Dr Deb retired and now they seem to not care as much about their patients. I'm sitting here crying because Sam is really old and you can't even talk to a doctor there any more. I’m enraged right now by their horrible customer service. I was on time for my first appointment here, called as I was instructed to do when I arrived. 4 of my calls wouldn’t even ring, it just said this Verizon caller isn’t available the other 3 calls I made went to an automated message, I also was not able to leave a voicemail. I FINALLY get through ten minutes later to have them put me on hold for even longer…when I finally talk to someone they said I’m late and can’t see me now for my appointment. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! This is how you treat your customers? I just drove 30+ minutes with my dog who hates cars only to turn around. I was shaking I was so upset, and whoever I spoke with was insanely rude and should not have a job were she has to talk to people. I will NEVER go here again and will tell everyone I know with a pet to avoid at all cost.

I just called them to try to see if they had an appointment available for this week and after being on hold for 10 minutes the lady answers the phone and says "What can I help you with now?" So I asked if they had any available appointments this week and she said "I doubt it but hold on because we are trying to get the appointments all checked in" to which I could only reply I am sorry to inconvenience you. I hung up because if this is how they are going to talk to prospective customers, I can only imagine how they would treat my animal! I should almost thank the lady who answered the phone for allowing me to hear the level of uncaring in her voice.

Went on Tuesday to have my dogs annual physical. They made me wait in the hot parking lot and took my dog inside. They later took my dog out on the hot pavement and tried twice to draw her blood unsuccessfully. I got charged $57.00 for this malpractice. I will never go to that horrible place again

When I was a young single mother with three kids and two dogs and money was very tight, I called all the vets in South Minneapolis and asked for prices. Blue Cross was the winner and although I moved for affordability, I have stayed for decades because the service is exceptional. They never push unnecessary testing or procedures, really support their clients in making the right decision for them, and are always above and beyond supportive. They have seen us through puppies and dying dogs and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Blue Cross was able to see my cat same day for a visit when my vet at that time couldn’t fit her in, and I’ve been going there ever since. They seem to care more than the other vets I’ve been to. They make sure I understand the situation and are willing to spend time talking to me about my options. I’ve felt rushed into decisions with other vets so appreciate the extra attention and care at Blue Cross.

I like the clinic and hospital in one. Just started using Blue Cross for my 11 yr old Yorkie. So far a great experience with teeth cleaning and check up!

I have taken my rescue girl there for years. Malu is a mix breed very large mountain dog. The care we have had from Dr Deb and the rest of the Doctors at Blue Cross has been exceptional. Malu has had some major issues over the years not only health scares but some behavioral issues and I felt they were with us every step of the way. Everything from wellness visits to emergency visits has been met with the utmost care, respect and kindness. We are now facing end of life issues, as we all do with our beloved pets, and I am so grateful for the compassion they have extended me when new questions and concerns come up with caring for my senior dog. 5 stars is not enough for this fine group of people.
