I absolutely love these guys. I came in with my dog during a very stressful time of my life. The staff and doctors went above and beyond to help my dog, were very understanding, and compassionate. They took the time to figure out what was wrong and what the best treatment was for the dog. They are for sure my new vet for all of my animals! Highly recommend them!!

Dr. Cameron was the only vet who could ever handle our little beast "Eddie the Sharpei". The staff is great and the care that they display for your animal is amazing. We'll keep going even though we now live 40 minutes away.

I've been going to this vet for at least a decade for our previous dog and now our new pup and have always had a great experience. Reasonably priced, very responsive with concerns, and it's been easy to get in for appointments.

Too expensive and you pressured my daughter to get more procedures for our dog when I already set up the appointment for today with the intention of getting the other vaccines and exams down the road. Going forward deal with me. Not my daughter. I'm the one writing the checks and keeping up on things King needs

They are the best!!! They greeted Larrikin, my new puppy, at the door with treats right at the door. More importantly, they were able to get me into an appointment two days after I called where other places were booked out all the way through to the third week of September. She was in distress, declining and I was feeling desperate. They treated her with the kind of compassion that was needed and addressed all of my concerns as if they were her parent too. High five to all the staff there!

Friendly staff all around here. They were so patient with me which I really appreciate as this is my first time having a puppy so I had so many questions. Glad I decided to go with them and we will be using them for all our pets now.

Top notch professional service. The Vet gave me a full explanation with options for treatment with NO pressure or upsell. Great follow up. You have me and Coco hooked! Thank you!

Edit: what a difference a caring vet makes. My dog does not have heart problems. He has a colapsing tracea. No real treatment for it. So this vet says heart disease to milk as much as they can. While my dog suffers. 217 here for just Xrays. I got xrays, meds, and exam fee 268. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE! Never ever again! I have been taking my pets here since I was 15. I am 38, and I will be taking my services elsewhere. I chose to stay here even after we moved 20 miles away because they ALL cared about my pet not just my money(which has always been limited). This is no longer the place I used to love to bring my animals, because I felt they were safe, and in good hands. The conversation I just had with my dogs "new" doctor was hurtful, and very very cold because I can't afford the whole service. She showed me in her voice, and cold words just how little she cared about my dog, and my loyalty. Go elsewhere unless your rich. Those are the only kind of people they want here now. Goodbye Bass Lake Vet! Edit: This vet would rather help me kill my dog, then help with what little money I got. I wasn't spending it on clothes for me, or any unnessary extras. I was going to spend my last dime here to help my dog, and that was no longer good enough. Dr. Cameron long ago used to let us split checks, and post date them to be helpful to our poorer status. This was a place that cared about the animal first, then the money. I guess it is easier to be money hungry jerks over the phone than to peoples faces!!! GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!

They helped our little boy over the Rainbow Bridge. They were so kind, providing a personalized paw print with his name on it. Very patient with us on a terrible day. I miss you, my little pup-pup. ????

I have two Great Danes who both go to Bass lake Pet hospital and we could not be happier! We even get post cards to remind us to get check ups and vaccines on time! We are able to get fit in most days and even last minute for emergencies! Nail trimmings are tough with Danes thick nails but they do it easily and quick! Our girls have never been taken care of better and I feel the vets, techs and front desk staff all care about doing right by the animals not for money. The best part is the staff is so friendly and takes very good care of my fur babies!

EXCELLENT CARE FOR MY SENIOR DOG. Changed to Bass Lake Vet because my senior dog was not getting the needed attention from long-time vet around new issues that come with age. Saw Dr Noble. She took the time to examine my dog & explain in detail what she saw & suggested course of action. Very comfortable with surgery he had to have there. great follow up call & after care. Wonderful caring staff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

First of all, prices at this hospital are on high end comparing to another local vet clinics. Now about my experience with their service. I will start with my newer family member 5-month-old puppy. They promised free first exam, but charged me 70+$ for office visit. After I contacted receptionist and asked why was I charged they said they will talk to manager and will give me a call back. I'm being waiting for over a month now for that call back, needless to say I've never received my free exam. They gave my puppy distemper shot and said she might need another one....during 2 weeks they couldn't tell me if she needs or not another booster. Parvovirus, as they said is not included as it is too expensive for them to administer the shot. I went to another vet and they said that parvovirus vaccine is given with distemper and needless to say my dog needed another distemper booster. My 5 months old dog was diagnosed by their vet that she has patellas issues, vet didn't tell what grade, but said she will very likely need knees correction surgery. When I had enough and asked for my pet's records so I can go for another opinion, lady on the phone said that every other vet will tell me the same.Oh well, I just took my dog to another vet and her right patella looks great, left one nothing serious and most likely my dog will outgrow it. So if they ever advise you 4k TPLO surgery and you have mixed feelings about it, please go for a second opinion. I gave stool samples and they charged me money for it. I've never received any results back. On wellness exam, as they have this covid-19 policies and pet owners are not allowed inside, I gave them my dog and returned in several minutes because I forgot to give that stool sample that I was charged for and never received the results. My puppy was hold by unknown person in the hall way around other big group of unknown people. It is stressful enough not to be next to your fur baby, impatiently waiting in the vehicle and you think you give your dog to receptionist so they will safely give her to the doctor and then you see large meeting of people with my dog in the middle, while you are waiting outside. My other dog had stinky ears and he scratched them. I specifically asked to take a look at them. Veterinarian said he didn't smell anything and his ears look great. My dog was diagnosed yesterday with bacterial and yeast infection after veterinarian at another clinic took a look under the microscope. It is unbelievable. My poor man finally received the treatment he needed all this time. I have a lot more to say, to the point they couldn't explain blood work results, saying they don't know why my dog has this numbers and that it doesn't make any sense to them.... but i think I am going to end up here and finish this post by saying I will not return and will not recommend this hospital to a friend. I am happy I finally went for that second opinion. My dog needs teeth cleaning and some work to be done, I shopped around in the hospitals with very good reviews and an estimate is almost twice less then at Bass Lake Hospital.

Great place to trust for your pets. Prices are a little higher but definitely worth it when it comes to your pets.

We called Bass Lake Pet Hospital when our dog suddenly became sick. Our regular vet told us it would be two weeks for an appt so we called Bass Lake rather desperate. Dr. Knowles agreed to see our dog that day even though she was fully booked and we were not current clients. She ran a number of tests trying to determine what was wrong. Ultimately it turned out to be lymphoma and Dr. Knowles took all the time we needed to discuss our options. She helped us through a difficult time and even called us the day after we put our dog down. They have new clients in us.

I've been taking my dog to this clinic since I first got him and they've been great! We've had routine visits, urgent visits and even an emergency transfer to the doggy ER... all have been wonderful (or as wonderful as a visit can be when it ends with an overnight at the ER). Staff and the front desk and techs are stellar--great in person and over the phone. I appreciate the follow up calls as well! Docs have been great in answering my questions and dog concerns as well as presenting options for proactive and reactionary care. Pricing is what I expect to pay for quality dog care. My dog hates the clinic but I appreciate Bass Lake Pet Hospital!
