????????????I live like LITERALLY right next door to these guys & I ABSOLUTELY find them AMAZINGLY PHENOMENAL at that place, it really seems to me that the staff there truly does LOVES & CARES for animals, they showed it with my cat which needed to be examined!!???? ✌????????????‍♀️✌????

My dogs have been going here for years! Dr. Goldblatt is the only doctor that my dad will trust. The receptionists are so kind and they are very efficient in refilling my dogs' prescriptions in a very timely manner. I love bringing in my dogs' to see them and they are always so informative when we get new prescriptions! Also all of the vet techs and honestly the whole staff is very kind!

I initially selected this clinic for pet car since they agreed to allow pet owner to be with the pet during all interactions with the doig, Since early in Covid epidemic they have refused to allow owner to come in with their pet to talk with Dr. They continue with this policy. While they allow you to talk with Dr. pover phone, I see this as a compromise of medical care. Since Covid is here to stay, I don't see an end to their ban of pet owners in their clinic.

I called GVAH after my cat had been to a different vet and his condition was getting worse. It seemed off to me, so I called to make an appointment with GVAH, got in later that day and had an appropriate treatment plan laid out for him. I was so happy and impressed with how attentive to my cat’s testing they were and how easily they identified the problem!

My 16 year old dog was near end of life. I didn't want him to suffer and wanted to do the humane thing~euthanasia. With the way the World is and everyone short staffed, I called about 8 clinics only to be turned away or be put on at least a 2 week wait. He couldn't wait. I couldn't wait. My last call to GV hospital was blessed from above. I got a same day appt to discuss options and get euthanasia services if that was the best choice. The entire staff was kind, compassionate, and empathetic. The doctor (I can't remember her name, I was so distraught) was so understanding and kind, allowing me all the time I needed to say goodbye. It's traumatic losing a pet at any age, but I was blessed with 13 years of friendship with Spencer. They made it a little easier, and affordable as well. Thank you ????

We don't live in the immediate area. Our regular vet was closed on Saturday. We had a dog issue that we wanted to have looked at if possible / vet availability. After calling multiple vets in our immediate area, I saw a recommendation for GV Animal Hospital on the Nextdoor site. I called and they were able to fit us in / had an opening. New client paperwork was efficient (online). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Vet explained findings well over the phone (COVID). From arrival to filling out paperwork to exam to checking out only took 30-40 minutes. Wonderful experience. I'll certainly look to them in the future if I have a need and would certainly recommend them to others. Thanks for the great care of our dog!

This is one of a few places that would see my "exotic" rabbit. They gave clear, understandable prognosis, and recommended treatment that was very reasonably priced. My rabbit bounced back spunky and happy!

Such kind care for Penny, my Tibetan Terrier. She gets anxious at appointments and the staff at GV Animal Hospital is experienced, gentle, and top notch!

The staff helped me through an unbelievable tragic situation with my 1 year old best friend. They made one of the most painful thing in my life bearable. Their entire team went way above what the needed to do and I sincerely thank them for it. They are a truly amazing team. Please don't consider another vet as they are awesome.

We went for our first appointment at Golden Valley Animal Hospital this week. We have a new puppy and they were extremely helpful and answered all of our questions. The staff were kind and took the extra time to explain everything to us since we were not able to go into the appointment with our pup. We will definitely be back!

I'm so happy I came here. They were absolutely lovely! Every single person was absolutely fantastic. I was provided all the information I needed and they certainly make your pets comfort a priority.

Took my cat here for the first time last week and have had a great experience so far. Dr. Ziska was very great to work with and was completely open to working with my previous veterinarian regarding treatment plans for my cat. I was very appreciative of this! You are still not allowed in with your pet due to covid, but the staff made our first visit as welcoming as they could and I was happy with our experience.

I was running late to the apt and did not communicate with them, so that is 100% on me. However I was not aware that if you are more than 10 min late you forfit your $69 deposit. I could not find this in writing anywhere after the fact either. So I was on my way to the apt, within 10 min after the apt time, when I get a call saying I would need to reschedule and repay the $69 deposit for the next apt. It was not until I had gotten back home that I questioned this and called back to confirm that my initial deposit would not be refunded. Now I respect that time is valuable but I was on my way there, for $69 I would have hoped there would be just a little more flexibility. Having a baby and sick dog in tow is hard folks! Getting anywhere on time is a challenge. Will never schedule with them again. I'm sure they're perfectly competent to take care of the pets once they get them there, but I can't speak to that unfortunately.

I would recommend if you are looking for a vet. I took my dogs there years ago and returned with my new pup. Vets and support staff are great, very friendly and welcoming to me and my dog. They always take the time to answer my questions or address concerns. My pup actually looks forward to seeing his friends there!

First time taking my turtle to a vet and I could not be happier. Everyone there was extremely nice, it was clean and the doctor was knowledgeable. I will absolutely be bringing Ferdie here again if/when she needs it. Brought ferdie again 4/17 and another amazing experience. I can't recommend them more. All of the staff are the best!

My dog had surgery. There was a small nodule on the surface of the skin, (nothing below) that needed removal. Like a wort, much smaller than a pea. Yet the skin was sewn up in a knot. It looks like a child did the sutures, so bumpy. Then they sent her out with a cone for a great dane, not a 30 lb dog. It stuck out a foot past her face and the circumference was huge. My dog could barely raise her head, couldn't even sit, and there's no way she could eat or drink. When I asked about the size, the staffer said the small one didn't fit and that's all they had. $33.xx for that thing. I said no way. The gall just starred at me saying it's now used. I insisted, she had to go speak with a manager then said okay. It's been an extremely disappointing experience all around. The ppl are nice, but that's the only good thing I can say at this point. Very disappointed.

I being my reptiles here. The exotic doctor is very well informed and educated on different species including less common ones that are kept like African fat tailed geckos.

The vet was very knowledgeable about small animals! Brought my bunny there yesterday! He's much too in love with my cat! ????‍♀️ poor little guy is getting snipped!

Our kitty that we had just gotten from the Humane Society was sick and they made time for an appointment when the vet I usually use would not. In addition, the vet here let me know the options for our situation, what each one would cost, and her recommendations. They also followed up the next day. Great service!

One of the very few places available to bring my green cheek conure foe care. Dr. Jacobson I believe was the avian vet who saw my skittles. She was kind, courteous and listened to questions and concerns. She gave me useful recommendations and talked to me in a way a could understand. The only downside is the pandemic and not being able to go inside with my feather baby.. Would definitely go back tho.. it was out first time. Thanks Golden Valley Vet. ????

Upon my first visit I found the staff to be very courteous and helpful. I was in a bit of a situation where I didn’t have all of the information I’m sure the vet would have liked, but it wasn’t an issue. They got us in right away on a Saturday and I couldn’t be more thankful. The Dr called me a few times to update me on what they were finding and was not pushy about what treatment was needed. I have felt shamed at a DIFFERENT vet before because at that time I was tight on money and couldn’t afford all the recommended services. Although it is not an issue now, would it have been based on my experience I do not believe this to be the kind of place that would do such a thing! All I know is that they have a customer for as long as we continue to need vet services! My family thanks you for all of your hard work during these difficult times and we’ll be back soon for general wellness exams.

I have been seeing this vet since 2001 or 2002. They have treated 3 bunnies, a cat, a turtle, Guinea pig, and a hamster. They are equally knowledgeable about all species. I recommend to anyone looking for a vet for all their pets. They answer questions fully, and when my first bunny traveled over the rainbow bridge they sent me a beautiful sympathy card!

First pandemic visit to the Vet and it could not have been more positive! The minute my furbaby left the car I knew she was in good hands! I even did a headspace meditation while I was waiting before I knew it the Vet was calling me with a diagnosis and treatment plan for her eye infection. Thank you Golden Valley Animal Hospital!!!!

We adopted our first dog about a year and a half ago and chose Golden Valley Animal Hospital as our veterinarian for the simple fact that they're close to where we live. Little did we know we were bringing our dog to such a fantastic business. Each doctor we've worked with has been exceptionally nice, informative, caring and loving to our dog. I would recommend Golden Valley Animal Hospital to anyone in the area.
