Professional, courteous, and affordable. Honestly there's no reason to go anywhere else in the area, especially as this company offers wellness plans that don't require a credit check.

Always great and helpful just very busy and not enough staff at front desk to handle all the rude clients.

I’ve been to a few different Banfield’s with my dog and this location is by far the worst. The last time I brought my dog in to seek solutions to ease her separation anxiety. They put her in a isolation room which is by far the worst thing to do for a dog with separation anxiety and they held her for 6-7 hours. I called a few times to get an update and find out when I can pick my girl up, they would put me on hold for an hour then pick up for 15 mins and place me on hold again. I became so frustrated since they told me the vet was going to call me on several occasions. Eventually I showed up to pick my dog up because There is no reason why they should be this spotty when they have my dog. This proves to me this location is full of untrustworthy and unreliable individuals. If I’m taking my dog to the vet and allowing them to be alone with her, I expect the employees to be honest and straightforward. I will be ending my wellness plan purely due to this location and choosing a smaller vet.

Do not waste your time and money here! Go to your vet instead. I had my cat in the program. All they want is your money. After one of his visits he came home crying and growling all night. I called them and they didn't seem to care. I took him to a vet & he was terrified of the visit. I later found his back was hurt. I feel he was mishandled during his visit at Banfield. I asked Banfield many times to check his bladder & kidneys since he seemed to have some issues. He was only seven & we lost him last Christmas eve from a blockage. Very sad. Also good luck trying to get out of the program. They continued to bill me for six more months after I canceled. Do your research first. I wish I could have done things differently and avoided them in the first place.

Seriously the worst place ever, i even went out of my way to have my animals seen at a completely different location WAY out of the way just to avoid this place. Only for that location to get moved farther away and now im stuck going to this location again. Horrible customer service, they are always so rude. It takes 900 times to call before anyone answers the phone, then i get put on hold immediately after for another 10-15 minutes. Only for them to answer again asking what i want fromt hem???? refilling a prescription is a nightmare because they can never seem to find the refills and always tell me i need to have a doctor approve my refill. This is the worst location ever and it seriously needs to rehire all new staff and train better!!!

Awful. Our pet is older and has a lot of issues. Sometimes they need an urgent appointment. Not an emergency but just a quick visit. The problem is you can never get in. They're always booked. I'm repeatedly told to go to another location because "they always have open spots." On the other hand they're more than happy to schedule you in for a teeth cleaning without even asking. I assume the Dr. makes more money from those and that's the reason. We pay monthly pet insurance with Banfield too and still end up taking them to the 24 hour hospital just to be seen. My pet had an appointment recently with labs. We never received results. The tech came and got them and brought them out when they were done. We never even saw the Dr. I understand things have changed with Covid so sitting in a small room isn't safe right now but the Dr. could have called us or came into the lobby for an update. Honestly, they don't care and it's sad. I won't be returning to this location.

the worst customer service i have experienced. reception answered my call asked if i could hold. after waiting about 10 minutes they ask how they can help. i asked for a simple appointment and then she puts me back on hold for an additional 15 minutes before talking any further. complete waste of my time.

Morning of Jackson's neuter appt. I was informed he had a missing vaccine, I would need to pay $60 separately because i failed to have it given to him on time. I explained I was never informed I would need an appt. for anything between his last visit and the appt. scheduled for his nuter, that the clinic should be obligated to inform me of appts. should he need it, not holding me liable. It was also discussed that on his previous visit that I did not take his heartworm medication. How am I to know I should be taking anything with me for him if I am not a Veterinarian myself but than if I was, what would I need any of them for? I waited for a call from the admin manager about it, hadn't received one. His next visit, again the administrative insistence of my failure and therefore need to comply with payment, again I made my diplomatic argument. That same visit, upon me picking up Jackson it was finally made clear that the chart notes did not support any validation of thier claim and I would not be held responsible for an additional payment. Jackson was now all caught up with his vacinations, although he was due back again three weeks later for another. The assistant told me he is due on the 2nd of July, I asked if the 8th would be available; she said "no, it must be on the 2nd, or again youd be failing obligations to the plan, and would be charged". So, of course I schedule the appt. for the 2nd at 11:15. Reluctantly my employer allowed me the day off to take care of my lab. I would need to work Sat. to catch up on my responsibilities, mind you this Sat. falls on a holiday wkend, but I Manage 270 apts in St. Paul, my assistant is part time, and I am preparing for a fire marshal inspection, which takes place only every five years. Walk into the appt. at 11:15. They don't know why Jackson is scheduled, he is not due back until September.. so we drive home to Stacy, MN with my time waisted because of Banfield's ignorance

To make a very long story short: A couple weeks ago my cat had a nasty skin infection and at the time, Banfield was booked, as most places are catching up, due to Covid. I went to the attached pet store, found some spray and walked over to the vet counter to ask if the spray would be something to try. Once the phones stopped ringing, the wonderful young lady behind the counter, said she would take the spray and ask one of the doctors in the back. She came back, seconds later, asking if I could get my Charlie cat up there so they could take a look at him. With no hesitation, I was gone and back within 20 minutes. I was extremely worried and sad. As I talked to the nicest young lady at the counter, I started to cry...I told her I didn't want to lose my cat, I had recently lost my husband. She came around the counter and gave me hug and said they would do everything to make sure my Charlie was comfy. I can say, just a couple weeks after Banfield treated what really was a terrible wound/infection, he is on the mend. Not only did they treat me with the upmost respect, and Charlie as well, they treat you like family. What a GREAT bunch of people. An extra shout out to the young lady for the hug when I really needed it.

Terrible company. Take your pet to a local family owned vet.

Wow! We were a walk in, and because of that they said they would have to keep my fur baby all day! He needed a wood tick removed that was now in a sac! I know more traumatic for Momma, but we also work! Then they called him by the wrong name! This isn't the 1st time they called one of my babies by the wrong name!! Just so unprofessional! I will never go back!!

They take forever and aren’t clear on pricing. Seems like lots of people were upset by their services the two times I was there.

Called the store only to be put on hold right away!! Didn't even greet and ask to be put on hold. Terrible! I understand they may be busy but still, who runs a business like that? Been on hold for more than 6 minutes as well.

My cats that we have, had gotten clipped and at first my husband was a little skeptical but after a while our cats were ok and feeling better and everything was ok so I cant judge but to me I don't think they did anything because my brother had found a tick on one of our cats and my husband told them about it and for them to check and they said they didn't see any I thought no I seen this with my eyes so they not doing their job right when it comes to looking for flees, so I would say that they are ok

The service is terrible. They have really gone down hill. There seems to be always new employees who are not properly trained at the front desk.

Pre-covid I may have given a 4 and had been overall happy with our experience there. However, with a high anxiety dog the visit style and how things are handled have driven us away. We are finishing out our wellness plan and going elsewhere for future care. It's a real disappointment to end our care at Banfield on such a bad note.

I have been taking my pets to this vet for years and have never met the same people. Building a relationship with them is impossible. They treat your pet like an assembly line or a burden. Also, their phones have been having issues for almost a year (so many issues with that alone). Looking for a new vet for better pet care and communication.

They've been really attentive and good with my Baby girl. I signed up for their pet wellness plan to keep up on vaccinations and to cover visits when needed. It's a good deal and it helps keep the cost down. My dog is usually a little scared to go with other people, but she loves everyone at banfield maplewood ????
