River Hills Pet Care Hospital Mankato, Minnesota

Within the past year, my two kitties have become (or will soon become) regulars at River Hills. Dr. Holly especially has been our life saver since one of my girls was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition. Lots of testing, and two dental extractions later, she is doing great- Dr. Holly and the staff have always been there to answer all of my questions (and there are a lot) and quick refills with her monthly meds. Just recently, Dr. Binzer has been added to my list of life savers when it comes to my girls as we found out that my other kitty might have bone cancer. They quickly got her in when I called on Monday and after the review of x-rays got us a referral to Blue Pearl in the cities where we have already started figuring out a game plan. The rest of the staff has just been incredible- they know me and my girls really well by now and have been so supportive as we focus on the care my girls need. I wouldn't dream of taking my girls anywhere else for our primary vet. RHPCH is my go-to and we are so grateful.

I been taking my three dogs here for 5 years now, great staff. One doctor in particular has helped me with a reoccurring issue with one of my boys. She’s been very patient and helpful ????????

The vet I work with never makes me feel like she is rushing through. She truly cares and she takes the time to really talk through everything. In June I lost my beloved puppers and she was such a comfort to me. The entire staff was so sensitive and kind through that awful time in my life. I have now inherited an older pupper and she’s been so thoughtful to make sure I can include the other family in updates. I feel like this little guy in my care now is in the best hands. That’s a great comfort to me.

They’ve got one of the best staff around, and their services are just amazing. They are always greeting you with a smile or being there for you during your losses.

Called multiple times and left messages to try to set up a new vet because we were moving to the area and my dog requires regular medication. No one ever returned my calls.

The ENTIRE staff at River Hills is extremely caring and compassionate about their job, staff and the animals. They take their time in making sure your questions are answered and that you and your pet leave taken care of. Thank you all there for what you do.

Brought my pet today with an issue for check up. Our doctor did not come and instead, a different doctor came whom I did not meet before. Unfortunately, I experienced a bad case of discrimination whereby I was questioned on the ability to pay for my dog's services, despite having been with this clinic for 3 years and having always paid up front any amounts for the visit. I get it, theses days, for some folks, those who speak with an accent are by default trash. Although I normally ignore bullies, this time I had to ask the young vet doctor on what grounds did she make such a judgement and why she treated me during the visit like a low class individual. I did not receive a credible explanation from her, although she changed her tone after administering the blood work for my pet.

I got my hamster's nails trimmed here! it was really quick and they got the job done.

I've always been pretty prompt getting my animals in. Very friendly, the only issues I've ever had is that when I was asked to get a year and specimen for my dog while I was there, would have been nice if one of them assisted me in opening the door while having my dog in one hand, and the urine specimen in the other and trying to open the door at the same time. Also was not made aware ahead of time the cost before the additional procedure was done.

I recently got my guinea pig and brought her here! She had previous owners and super long, curled up nails. They hadn't cut her nails in roughly four years. This pet hospital got her in right away and were super friendly! They didn't make me feel like I was a bad pet owner (even though I just got her two days prior to bringing her in - I made the appt before I even had her in my care) and they cut her nails in a timely fashion. I think I will bring my other pets here too. This place is much more cleaner than the place I bring my other animals to!

Great service for my dog when she got sick. Super friendly, fantastic with lana and made her feel great! Wasn't terribly priced and was very clear with what was wrong and what the plan was going to be! Thank you

Got us in quickly, and it was a decent price for a check up. I told them my issue specifically over the phone and nothing was resolved at the appointment. I called back a little over a month later to ask about further testing for my Python and was told I need a referral somewhere else to even do anything that actually needs to be done. Pretty disappointed I wasn't directed somewhere that can adequately care for my snake the first time I called...

Tuna loves it here! Staff members are so nice. Lobby is very clean

They're very caring and understanding, they love animals and it shows. My cat is older and having some health issues, they take time to listen and respond appropriately.

Got in my appointment right on time. Very well run and organized considering how busy they are. Very affordable pricing. 5 stars all around.

Can’t say enough great things about River Hills Pet Care Hospital! We were not customers and they got us in right away when we had to put our Sammy down then took us right away when we found our Lydia! Always there for us means so much!

I adopted my dog, Hunter, almost a year ago. Hunter’s original owners took him here, and I’m so glad they did. I’m a helicopter dog parent and it’s always a judgement free zone from the employees (my dog suffers from bladder stones and other health conditions).

First time going to them as our vet we usally go to wasn't in our price range. They helped my bird feel better !

Our cat had some really bad crystal form in his urine and he got pretty sick right away. We brought him into the vet and they got him hooked up on an iv right away and had him happy and healthy within two days! They gave my husband and I updates on everything and they also go over pricing and treatments before hand so you can decide on the appropriate care for you fur baby. I also personally felt like each person who took care of our cat fester truly cared for him. We will continue bringing our pets here for as long as possible! My husband and I would highly highly recommend!

My mama Theresa was feeling a bit under the weather, got her in and the doctor was so kind and fabulous, got a diagnoses and medicine. she's on her way to being my mama Theresa again!! THANK-YOU*????
