extremely disappointed in Hillside animal hospital in lacrosse. The only thing they were concerned about is the money aspect of things. I just wanted him better and it was all about the price I got charged almost $300 to find out absolutely nothing. I’m visibly upset because my cat was dying in front of my eyes and ALL he talked about was the price. Told me I had an older FEMALE cat and “ things like this happen “ first off Marvin isn’t even 2 and second HE is a boy and that is very clear. I corrected him multiple times. I would ask a question about blood work and the tech taking the blood didn’t look at me a single time and seemed annoyed to even be there. Not professional at all. I 10/10 do not suggest going there.

I wanted my dogs paw print but no one could give it to me. You guys had her body for like 3 days and everyone said they couldn't get me her paw print. She was my baby girl and I'm absolutely heart broken. I will never get to see her again.

I’ve been taking my animals here for several years not. Dr. Konrad is usually who we see. My cat and my dog have both had different eye issues over the years and Dr. Konrad has gone above and beyond for their care. Even reaching out to Madison when an eye issue for my cat became complicated. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I truly appreciate the house call Dr O'CONNOR made when it was the time for Buck, our golden retriever, to go to heaven. We did not hesitate on the Vet we chose when we got a new golden retriever, Fjord. We LOVE her and all the staff there

Friendly and caring staff, very knowledgeable and my dog loved going.

My husband and I live in a rural area, and have several cats! Beloved residents as well as fosters. We’ve had some good and rather bad experiences with the vet closest to us, so. I decided to make the hour drive to Hillside. I’m so glad that I did. Our two senior ladies needed bloodwork and their first dental, and frankly, if you’re worried and protective of your cats, this is THE place to go. Every single person I talked to was knowledge and kind. To have the vets and techs adore your pets while they care for them is a comfort I’m so very grateful for!! My kitties came out calm, and no one rushed me despite how worried and crazy cat lady I’m certain I had to be. (I am so sorry!) I thank them for their kindness and how informative they are over the phone, as well as Emailing me the information after the call. How handy is that? Truly worth the drive for the best care of our kitties, thank you so much!

Great place, vets and decent prices!

Good customer service and prices are reasonable

After I moved across the country for work, I did not get a chance to get established with a vet. Shortly after this move, I had an emergency with my dog out of nowhere, and Hillside was the only vet in town that would see her on an emergency basis (i.e. without an appointment) and without having already been established as a patient there. They worked insanely hard to help her and stayed in touch with me after-hours and over weekends. Now they're my regular vet for my two cats (one of whom is a new kitten who had some minor health concerns) and they continue to be consistently reliable. They always call to follow-up a few days after an appointment and they always answer all of my neurotic questions patiently and thoroughly. I am not sure if they always have long wait lists or always book appointments 3 weeks out, or if it's related to the time of year, but in my opinion, regardless of how long it takes to get an appointment, they are WELL worth the wait!

They are sincerely the best out of ALL the vets I have tried in the area. They truly care! They saved me LOTS of money. And out of 3 vets in our area found the problem right away and took AMAZING care of my baby boy Kingsley Zero!

When my parents dog(clients at Hillside) had a laceration, Hillside had us come in immediately, no hesitation. I can always count on them to be there for us and provide professional care. I would recommend Hillside to anyone in the lacrosse area, and they also help provide Emergency care for Thompson and Central Animal clients as well. Great work from their team!
