I can't say enough good things about this place. One of the few clinics seeing new clients and pets. Very happy! They seem aware of the pandemic and require masks - unlike other businesses. I just switched vets and the young vet (Dr. E) was efficient and personable. It was much faster than when I go see my doctor. Thank you for taking care of the new addition to the family.

Took my dog in in a Thursday before Christmas with extreme nausea and vomiting, Vet recommended X-rays and stated that the X-rays showed no foreign body and no obstruction. After thousands of dollars and multiple vet trips and ER overnight stays, it was discovered he had an obstruction and he had emergency surgery. My dog had to suffer though all that pain because this was missed at his appointment 4 days earlier. This all could have been prevented. Learn from my mistake, always request a copy of your imaging, make sure imaging is read by a radiologist and always trust your gut.

The staff here are amazing, compassionate, patient, and really do love their jobs. I have trusted them for the past 20 years and have had to let some of our pets go and the staff made the heart wrenching process as bearable as possible.

The absolute worst vets office I have ever been to. Needed to put my sweet elderly cat down. They brought her to me dead already after taking her to put a IV in. Hard for me to even replay the events in my head.

Really enjoy coming here. The doctors there really take care of your pets. We recently put down our pet. The doctor was so kind. I wasn’t sure at first if I was doing the right thing. But he spent some time with us talking and made my decision so much easier. I received the ashes today. Dr. E and Dr. Guer really are kind and gentle doctors.

If you ever need care approaching closing time don’t bother calling. They won’t ask any questions as to what you may need, offer to make an appointment, ask how far you are away or even offer a little guidance as to who may help you if your having a medical emergency, nothing but they will remind you “we close at 6”. From that experience I don’t think they live up to their mission statement “caring and compassionate” was not the kind service offered at least by their reception desk.

We had a consultation in the past for our dog and was told they had a specialist but fast forward to now we call again for a consultation and they make us pay 68 dollars to tell us that we need to call a different vet.

All of the employees are super great and understanding! They have been wonderful with my cat. Everyone has been supportive but also honest about his condition and outlook. I would definitely recommend going here if you can :)

I'm giving a four because I like almost everyone here. I always ask to NOT see Natalie. She is a nightmare. She talks at you not to you. She reminds me every chance she gets that she is a tech and has all the answers. Super rude. I remind the ladies that work there to please give me anyone else. Everyone else is nice though.

Our dog is a rescue. No telling what his past life included but he is a lover, cuddler, and huge baby about getting his nails trimmed. The staff at Ham Lake Vet Hospital do a great job of soothing his anxiety and loving on him during his nail clippings. This is a before picture.

I have been coming here for some time now. I used to see one of the other doctors that retired. I met the newest young doctor - highly pleased! I have to say if he is the replacement he is doing a great job. The support staff were all very nice. They gave plenty of love to my old lady dog. I can only say good things about Ham Lake Vet.

I have been to a lot of vet clinics as a person who has moved around the country a lot. This place is hit or miss, but we’ve gone here for 2 years. Some of the vet techs are super friendly and others just get the job done with no excitement whatsoever. The veterinarian’s are nice. It’s not bad, it’s not superb.
