We have had such good experiences with this clinic. Dr Darin previously worked with us when we were losing our senior dog to cancer and was kind, empathetic and helpful. We have recently been working with Dr Pauline for our fearful rescue. She's amazing--patient, full of helpful information and so good with our terrified dog. She takes SO MUCH time and does everything she can not to traumatize her during appointments. I am a person that likes lots of information and she is never condescending or annoyed when I ask questions. The clinic has been good about working with our pet insurance. Highly recommend!!

I have to say I came there crying cause we had to put our 17 year old cat down the front desk people and the doctor was so compassionate and understanding. I for sure recommend this place and have already told a lot of people how caring and compassionate everyone was for us. And their prices are great. Fully recommend Grand Valley Animal Hospital.

Dr. Pauline. While I appreciate your effort to ensure my safety when passing another client's muzzled dog, your approach was both unprofessional and rude. You asked me if I saw the muzzle in perhaps the most condescending way possible. Yes I obviously saw the muzzle but I was under the impression that for possibly agressive animals the use of a muzzle is the safety action. So then why would it be pertinent for me to go out of my way around a possibly aggressive dog that is not only muzzled, but also leashed? Moreover, instead of addressing me as a mentally unstable person, perhaps you could suggest a different route to be taken and educate on why that would have been a good idea. Cause at this point I'm left wondering why a professional establishment spoke to a clint so rudely when it wasn't even necessary.

Super friendly staff, vet took the time to explain everything to me about the medication and other items I was getting to treat my dog. Have been going to them for years with all my animals. Great place! Definitely recommend them for all small animal owners!

Always Tender Loving Care given to our Precious Dogs...

I chose a 3 because they are super kind and helpful and seem to do the best they can even in challenging situations. However, the only downside from my personal experience is the lack of knowledge in treating exotics but I believe that's something they are trying to work on.

Tended to our fatally injured dog with empathy and care. After hours care was excellent. Let us take as much time as we needed. Vet was honest and didn’t sugarcoat the severity of the injury. Explained the euthanasia process and was so kind during it.

It's an okay place. The lady that answered my call hung up on me after I told her I was there with my cat for our appointment. The assistant, Emily, she was wonderful. She was nice, let me be with my cat, and was very thorough. Dr. Jessie was a little rough with my cat. Overall it's not the worst place to take your animals to, but not the first place I'd go. I'm new to town. I've only been here 7 months and I needed a vet. Was told this was a good place. I didn't appreciate being hung up on or the Dr being so rough with my cat.

Great local veterinarian. Upfront with pricing and honest with recommendations, including what should be considered mandatory and what is optional. We take our miniature daschund puppy here and they have never tried to sell us on something unnecessary. They also do a good job of answering the dumb "first time parent" questions my girlfriend and I have about the pup in an informative manner!

Just took my GP there and they were really sweet. Treated her with great care. Definitely recommend to anyone with small pets

Good they wouldn't let me in I don't have enough money.

They were amazing before COVID, , but now they are still not letting people in with their pets, even as regular hospitals are now allowing others in. Anyone working there with a pre-existing condition would already be vaccinated by now, so their response to this virus means they now deserve to lose all of their business.

Terrible vet. My cat was recently spayed there. Gave us no medication and no cone to prevent licking if it was too happen. 6-7 days later we noticed our cats wound is starting to smell and possibly open up. We call the vet at 11 on March 29 asking them for guidance. They get back to us in the afternoon saying we will talk to the doctor. Wait the whole day and get nothing back. Call the next morning saying our cats wound is literally opening and they don’t even care. All she says is that our antibiotics are ready. Will be forever taking our business elsewhere and if anybody asks me about grand valley I will be leading them away. Absolutely riciculous and pathetic people.

Have visited a few vets in GF and EGF. Grand Valley Animal is in my opinion the best. Quick scheduling, friendly staff, fair prices, and they took good pair of your fur baby.

I'll never take my boys any place else

Grand Valley Animal Hospital is absolutely wonderful to work with. They are friendly, take time to hear anything you are concerned about, and really go the extra mile. Anytime we go for a regular check-up or our dog is sick, we are 100% happy with how all of the staff take care of our dog and get him back on the path to being well. Highly recommend if you are looking for a vet!
