Dr. Sillerud is fantastic and the techs are always great with my dogs. They've helped us out with multiple eye concerns very satisfactorily.

Having to take my dog to a different opthalmologist because after her visit that we waited for here, the doctor basically told us there was nothing we can do but to eventually maybe remove my dogs eye. Wasn't very good at explaining anything as to why, other than she is a merle and that's why.... What?

Flat out did not follow state or CDC guidelines for telemedicine appointments re animal care with recent appointments. General Covid denier type behavior. Avoid.

Much like others have mentioned this clinic treated our concerns as if they were meaningless. Phone staff was pleasant but the docs and owners are rude AF and couldn't care less about your concerns.

Our dog was diagnosed with an ulcer in one eye & persistant dry eye in both. Got rounds of meds for both issues. The legion was getting better but was still an issue by time med was used up. Called for a Rx renewal and was told to go to regular vet again first and then book new apt. with this clinic for same issue (at cost of $$ exam, of course, plus the extra time to book apts. all the while doggo is still suffering). Our regular vet sent us to a specialist to begin with! Plus, was told that no regular vet can prescribe dry eye meds, so we would be bound to buy from this Dr. for rest of dog's life. No genuine care put in to health and comfort of our pet. This clinic feels like the McDonald's of pet care, but with a play for as much as they can charge you for.

We were referred to this place by our regular vet because our dog was starting to go blind. Called to schedule an appointment & the said the soonest the could get us in was 6 weeks! I took 1st available appointment. Brought him in, $137 for the consult. Then they called to say they should do a retinal scan to see if his retinas were responding, because if they were, there was medication that was reasonable to treat him. They did the test for about $200 & said his retinas were nonresponsive so there was nothing they could do for him. If they had tried harder to fit him in, he might still be able to see! Very frustrating!

I HAVE TO SAY THANK YOU FIRST OF ALL HANDS DOWN HE IS THE BEST IN MY OPINION. I eally love how PASSIONATE Dr Olivera and his staff is they showed great concern for my daughter (doggy) and also even took steps to call out of state to speak to a surgeons to see if they can repair my daughter (doggy) retina. I took my dog to a another ophthalmology and I didn't go well it was more concerned about how many trips can I make to the office when dr. Oliveira and his staff took care of everything in one trip and save me the office visit and extra cost and it was definitely worth the wait I want to say thank you very much to the staff and. De Oliveira

Phone staff were rude and unprofessional. Long hold times. They cancelled my appt we had waited a month for without notification. When I asked why this happened, they blamed my regular vet and told me that it was my vet who had cancelled the appt. ?!? This was a lie; we had seen our vet 4 times for our eye issue in the previous 3-4 weeks! I called my vet and they confirmed that this was a lie. The phone staff did not apologize or offer any empathy, did not offer to "make it right." We would not recommend this place. Instead, consider Dr Olivera's eye clinic. The staff are friendly, let you know how to prepare for appt (how long it will take, how much it costs, what to bring); whereas, Sillerud's clinic did none of this. Other options include UMN Vet Clinic and Blue Pearl. Do not waste your money at this dump!

Very professional, animals handled with great care. Extremely thorough with post procedure instructions. Staff very supportive. Received follow up phone call to check on the patient next day.

Great staff, worked very well with my extremely special needs dog. Scheduling was ok and they allowed dog to stay at the office until I could pick up after work. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they got the job done.

I have a kitty with chronic glaucoma, and Dr. Sillerud and her team have been so wonderful to work with. They are friendly, super helpful, take time to answer questions, have made time to squeeze Simba in for an appt when he had a minor emergency come up with his eye, and their prices are super reasonable both for appointments and for meds I purchase from them. Super thankful I found Dr. S and her team!

Over the past 15 years, I have brought many of my dogs to see Dr. Sillerud. She and her wonderful staff have treated each and every one of them with kindness, respect and compassion. Not only is Dr. Sillerud one of the top specialists in her field, she is an amazing person! Somehow it feels like a 5 Star rating just isn't high enough.

Dr. Sillerud and her staff are amazing! They take their time and ensure the owner understands exactly what is going on with their pet. They took the time to show me the issues going on within my dogs eyes. I appreciate the customer service and overall great experience. I would and have already (I just left the clinic an hour ago) recommend this clinic to others.

It's been a mess! I have a sweet Cane Corso Mastiff named Zeeka. She is currently almost 8 months old. I got her when she was 3 months old. She had already had an eye surgery for an inverted eye lid. Cherry eye popped up in that eye before she even left the vets from surgery. I got her anyway and took her back to the same vet to remove the very large cherry eye. She had 2 more surgries after that. When it came back again, I started doing research. A LOT OF RESEARCH! I certainly can't afford to keep paying for all these surgries & and it's heartbreaking to watch Zeeka hurt. I found companion eye clinic, read reviews, called with questions about techniques and options. And finally got her in. Dr. Sillerud was very mater of fact and direct. While seeing the inside of my dogs eye makes me squeamish, it was important to feel confident that it would be done correctly. I got carecredit and paid. 3 weeks in... NO! Yes, the first surgery failed. But so had the 3 before that, so that seemed more normal to me. The second surgery was on Dec 22nd and a different method was used. It's only a couple weeks past, but she is looking great, and the fact that they did the 2nd surgery without charging me: Awesome! Not only do I get to go back if any further troubles arrise with the cherry eye free of charge, I wish I had known earlier! I will follow up with updates if needed.
