I ???? Parrot Island! It is a little far from me but I don't care! I enjoyed talking to Terry and Shari Beaudoin who are so very friendly and kind. I could have stayed, talked and been educated all day if my daughter didn't have an appointment the day I visited. ???? I grew up with Parakeets but that was many moons ago when I was very young and I have my first female Vosmaeri Eclectus who's name is ???? at fifty years old. The majority of the pictures are of me and my children with ???? but with will see the GORGEOUS carrier I bought from Parrot Island. Sturdy, Beautiful and will last a lifetime!!

Love this place. Best store for everything your bird may need, from toy to best food choices. Owners did amazing job to keep business running during pandemic.

Stopped by here on a whim while I was in town visiting from Illinois and have no regrets. Absolutely the best and widest selection of bird toys and perches I've seen in one place. I got a few unique hanging toys that the store makes by hand and then a whole bunch of small trinkets I'm going to use for foot toys/foraging. I'm especially curious to see how Pesto (pictured, with some of the toys) will love the little pods. I plan on "hiding" some choice treats in them! While I was there, a woman and her daughter came in looking for things for some parakeets they recently got. The gentleman working took the time to go over with them good, proper care with perches, dishes, and cage sizes. Parakeets especially in the pet trade tend to be chronically neglected and seen as inexpensive, often temporary pets. One of my parakeets/budgies was a rescue we found outside that someone very clearly just abandoned, and it warms my heart to see someone who clearly cares very much about the care of every parrot, no matter how small. I only wish I was local to this store. Next time I'm in town, I'll be sure to visit again and I'll keep their website in mind!

Hello, As an avid parrot owner I will say there is simply not a better place for you avian needs. This store is full of all things parrots and I always find what I'm looking for when I visit. The atmosphere is incredible with parrot noises being chimed in through the speakers I feel like I've once again been transported back to the amazon. That being said, I was SHOCKED to learn that this store is not open on Mondays, especially with this years World Parrot Day falling on Monday the 31st of May. While I still love this store it's disappointing that I will have to spend that day somewhere else. It is still my favorite parrot store in the greater Twin Cities Metro area and I will be visiting June 1st to make it up.

Great store. Bad reviews are most likely from entitled people thinking they are never wrong or bad owners that think that informing them of bad care is an insult to them personally. Prices are higher then something like petco but the knowledge and quality of product is also far superior.

Love this store! The owner is so knowledgeable and helpful. We credit him with saving one of my bird's life, after she started to have some issues with her liver. Our vet didn't help us much with the issue since we already had her on the right diet, so we turned to Parrot Island for advice. A simple supplementation of milk thistle turned her life around and she continues to thrive like a bird should! When your pets are family, this kind of wisdom and willingness to help is PRICELESS. Why go anywhere else? I love that we can order online when we can't make the drive, too!

One of the best stores specifically for birds and their owners! Staff is extremely knowledgeable and has always taken the time to educate and answer any questions I may have. Huge selection of safe toys and quality nutritional diets for all species of bird. A little pricey but well worth the money knowing you have a quality product that’s safe for your feathered friend.

A store that caters to parrot owners! An absolutely wonderful selection of parrot supplies and food. A very very clean store too!! They have the "good stuff" that you can't find in other pet stores along with a very knowledgeable owner and staff! Well worth the trip to Eden Prairie. The only thing one might have trouble with is finding the store the first time. It's kind of in an industrial park setting, but they do have a small sign by the driveway/entrance which helps. We will be shopping here again and again!

Great one stop shop for your parrot needs. Best selection of healthy foods around and many safe parrot specific toys and cage accessories. We haven't found anything near this in other stores. Owner seems very focused on parrot health/well being which is a nice change from generic pet stores.
