The vet is fine. Getting to them is another story. I have had my dog here for over a year & the service up front is ridiculously frustrating. I have called and no answer. I have called and no answer but the phone picked up and hung up on….multiple times!!! I have called and been cut off while trying to communicate our need. Completely rude and unacceptable for adult people in a profession to be this way. I have ordered medication for pickup to arrive and be told they are out of the meds and to go to another location across the cities. We moved locations because Woodbury staff sucks. No stars are deserved but this requires 1 to be picked.

I am so grateful to this Banfield. I took my baby in there when they were already overbooked, and they gave us an appointment anyway. They did a lot of the testing that was needed as part of his comprehensive exam that was due. They could of charged me for the testing instead of including it, and I greatly appreciate that.

If you buy the wellness plan for your kitten it includes a spay or neuter. If they can't do the procedure you are charged an extra $160 dollars. What? Yes! It cost $160 dollars more for me to have you not do the procedure that was the entire reason I purchased the wellness plan. I wonder why that wasn't mentioned when they were trying to sell me the plan. This should definitely be mentioned when you are selling the wellness plan especially if the customer emphasis the point that the only reason they are doing it is because the neutering is included and that is the major selling point of the wellness plan. So if you take your kitten in for his/her first shots and they sell you on this plan but they can't do the spay or neuter you pay around 600 dollars (American) for plus another 160 dollars because they can't spay or neuter your pet. So basically they just scammed you into paying almost 800 dollars for your kittens vaccines and deworm. I guess vet offices are the new used car salesmen. For shame.

Dr. Lemay is the absolute best veterinarian I've taken my dogs to see. My boys deserve the best and he is exactly that. I always book appointments with him if possible. He genuinely cares about the pets he examines and will tell you plain and simple what you can do or not have to do to help your pet. I will continue visiting this Banfield location, even though others are closer to my home, because of Dr. Lemay.

I am simply going to echo the sentiment of so many other poor reviews of this company, and then some. I recently lost my dog who was a 12 ½ year old Olde English Bulldog. I took him to Banfield years ago when he was very young. They of course talked me into purchasing their wellness plan. I have been consistently paying for that wellness plan for 10 years or more. The truth is, they have extremely inflated prices and pretend that there giving you some sort of deal by discounting their retail price since you have a wellness plan.  It's no deal and it's no discount. When I couldn't get into Banfield, just like other reviewers have complained about, I started seeing other Vets. I found that every time I went to a different veterinarian, I walked out the door paying far less than I paid for the same services and/or medication at Banfield, even with a wellness plan that was supposed to have been offering me discounts.  I've had appointments cancelled because Banfield was overbooked as well. But what truly tops the cake is the fact that after my dog died, I was told that I needed to continue to pay the wellness plan until it renews in August.  Yes that's right, you did not read that incorrectly! My dog died in April. When I called to cancel my wellness plan, I was forced to call a different corporate number. Once I reached Banfield's corporate office, I was told that I have a "membership" that does not renew until August and that I must continue to pay the wellness plan through August. Even though I have a dog that is dead and can never be treated under the plan again. I was absolutely livid. I was told it was like a gym membership that has to be paid whether you attend or not. And I have read other reviews where people were sent to collections if they didn't pay. Believe me, I will tell everybody I know to run the other way from this HORRIBLE BUSINESS!

$0 vet visits sound great when they're selling you their "Wellness Plan"... but when you need to see the vet they're "too busy for a couple weeks", and their suggestion for you is to just take your pet to the animal hospital and pay hundreds more for what you are already supposedly paying them for. Then when they proscribe a medication, their mark up is complete bs! Seriously, call around. A medication they tried to sell for $75, was only $15 at Cub Foods. I rarely leave bad reviews for anyone, but this place is horrible.

I typically don't provide feedback when asked by Google, but my experience with Banfield was unbelievably frustrating and had I not kept pushing when something was wrong with my dog, he wouldn't be with us today. I'm hopeful this feedback will prevent others from experiencing what we experienced. I also feel compelled to share that one of their front desk employees at the Woodbury location was extremely rude and in my opinion, unempathic to the situation in front of her. On each occasion I would have liked to say that the woman at the front desk was having a bad day but I visited several times over a two week period and each time it was our turn to check out, she appeared irritated having to help people. From the way she called to the staff in the back when she asked them to bring our dog up to the condensending tone she used, giving us a difficult time when it was time to pay.

I called to see If I could get a refill on a RX for my dog. I was told Dr. Voight would be in on Saturday and would all me about it! Sunday I called because I didn’t receive a callback. I talked to Dr. Voight today who told me that she did have a the RX. I asked, how was I supposed to know that when I didn’t get a call informing me that! Sometimes we get real busy and we don’t have the time. I was very upset! I care about my dog and I expect the doctor to care also. It’s not okay to be forgotten. A front desk person could call and give me that info. She apologized and said, but.. I told her it’s never ok to apologize and add a but. I expect my expectations to be met every time you are doing anything to my dog, with no buts!,,

It is my exprience on numerous occasions, with multiple pets, over many years, this facility, and every other Banfield facility completely drops the ball at every turn. In my opinion, this facility is the worst, because of the many years and countless times they have been woefully incompetent. This company, more specifically this location, can best be described as chop shop for pets, ran by a revolving door of incompetent people. It's not just 1 person, it is the entire staff that is incompetent. When Covid-19 hit, the staff upped their incompetence to a whole new level. Take your pet here at your own peril.

We recently took our 15 week old puppy to Banfield Pet Hospital in Woodbury, MN and were extremely disappointed in our experience. Due to Covid, we had to drop him off and leave him with the staff. Not a problem. Following drop off, the issues occurred. He received 3 shots, was prescribed 1 heart worm tablet and they took time to call me. All occurred within 6-7 minutes. The individual who called me was extremely short and demeaning when I asked questions. He was given a vaccine that he should not have gotten and when I questioned this she was unwilling to discuss. This 6-7 minute visit cost me $144, which included $39 just to SEE the Vet Tech. The paperwork we recieved at pick-up was simply an invoice and information about the vaccines. This did not include an examination report showing weight. They very obviously to not value and respect their clients. You and your pets deserve better.
