Four Paws Pet Resort Eagan, Minnesota

Super knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly to us and our dogs. Can be tough to get our dogs in for grooming while they stay due to limited availability and high demand for the groomer.

I was first scared to get my pet to the pet resort after checking out the reviews on the place. Not that bad actually, my pet was perfectly fine without any injuries as someone else’s pet got one and he had his good time in there.

We have been bringing our Border Collie here for several years, some stays up to two weeks. We have been very pleased with the service and with the staff. I love the patio suites where she can go outside, as well as the socialization with other dogs.

Rude owner, on phone when in the middle of assisting in-person customers, didn’t give any details on my dog’s extended stay of 6 days (due to answering a phone call and ignoring us) We were handed his leash and then received no other information. You have to ask for a itemized statement- this time my mom asked for one due to other issues we had with our service. There was a fee on there that the owner couldn’t explain, but would not take off the bill. They gave her dog (who is on a special diet) different food without notifying her. She found out because he had multiple leftover bags my mom prepared ahead of time. Every time we (or my parents) have gone here, something negative happens and too often we have excused the behavior. You can only excuse so much. We will not be returning, nor will my parents.

The first two times we brought our dog in, it was fine. The third time, when I picked up my dog he had blood on him. His blankets were soaked in urine (he is a very well trained dog, so I am assuming they were just not letting him outside) and they had only given him half of his food that we had pre measured. When we got home there was a huge open wound on his tail. He was obviously in pain and did not want us to touch him. He had a couple of sores on his mouth. We called to complain and ask for a refund, and they refused despite openly admitting they were understaffed and over booked and that things just "fell through the cracks". Now I have to pay for his stay there, and vet bills to treat his wounds, and my poor dog seems in so much pain. I will never let my dog stay here again. I wish I had read more of the reviews before trusting this place with my pet. Update: Vet bill was $320 for his tail, but now he is safe and sound at home. I hope he can finally get some rest.

I'm sure my dog had a blast. It seems like they have a lot of great services, but I guess I have no way of knowing... I would have liked to see some pictures or get some sort of update during the weekend that she stayed with them. The facilities seemed very clean and well kept.

Called to information on cat boarding prices the guy who answers the phone was extremely rude to me. I told him the dates I had in mind to board my cat and was simply liking more information on cost and what was offered including he like it the end of the day we are really busy I said I would hold on. He like we are book up how do you expect to get a cat boarding now it was only may when I called my dates for boarding was in July in rude voice didn't even give me prices of info I ask for so rude.

Excellent staff, very friendly and caring!

VIsited the facility on April 3, 2021 and gave them a $50 deposit for reservation for the week of June 7. Not told and didn't sign anything stating it was Non-Refundable. Called 3 days later to cancel and were told it was Non-Refundable. I was recommended by a neighbor to go there but also had 3 different people say not to. I should've listened to the 3 bad reviews instead.

Staff has always been very friendly. Our dog loves to come here and usually pulls me out of the car to get inside.

Do NOT take your pet to Four Paws resort and grooming . The pretty much butchered my poor dog and had her there for 6 hrs. When I kept calling the excuse was they had walk ins. Why did they go before my dog who actually had an APPOINTMENT???? The groomer obviously did not know what she was doing. Ruby was shaved down to skin in some parts. She also must have hurt her when expressing her glands because she doesn't want to walk more than a couple steps only when necessary. Terrible treatment and I feel horrible for taking her there. ????????????????

We love Four Paws. We have 2 dogs that we board here when we go on vacation. They are always so nice and our dogs seem to love them as well. Great facility with caring staff.

our cat was a little nervous to start be totally relaxed when we picked him up. Staff is wonderful anx you can tell they care about the animals

I have boarded my 15 year old small dog at many places over the years. I feel so comfortable dropping my dog off at Four Paws. She never seems anxious to be there at drop off and pick up like at other kennels. I have been using Four Paws for 5+ years @ 3-4 times a year. I will never go anywhere else- the one time I did I regretted it. She always stays in the patio flat where she can lay outside if she pleases.

Staff was professional and handled my dog very well. He is a pit that isn't social with other animals and has a few special requirements but they had room for us on a last day reservation on spring break and he was happy when I picked him up. I am very pleased and grateful for accommodating us!

We started boarding here with our first dog 15+ years ago. The staff is helpful, friendly, and dedicated to taking good care of your cat or dog. Sam has stayed there twice so far, and we will board him there again. He is excited to get there, and I doubt he misses us much. All in all, fun for him, and a stress reliever for us knowing he's in good hands.

I have been taking our youngest dog there for 3 years and that has been good, but we recently had to kennel our 15 year old dog there and it was her first time having to be in a kennel.....ever. Paul and the gang were so sweet and reassuring and really go above and beyond to make the senior dogs (and their owners) feel comfortable. They really care about the dogs and that makes me feel really good about leaving my babies in their hands.

Great! We drop our dog off, and she returns to us alive and about the same as when she was dropped off. The girl that checked me in was great, the dude that checked us out was a bit gruff. Overall great experience.

I am careful where I entrust the care of my dog or cat. My experience with Four Paws Pet Resort has been fantastic. Kim Gorman, the groomer, has been grooming my dog for many years. She handles my dog with care, does great work for a reasonable price and obviously loves and cares for the dogs in her care. I am delighted with the service and care and friendliness we receive there. Other staff are very friendly and helpful. I made the right choice when I moved to Burnsville, MN and selected Four Paws Pet Resort.

Very happy with the service provided for my dog. We boarded our dog for a week and we are very happy with how happy our dog was when we picked her up. Nice, clean, and safe place to board.
