They take great care of my dog!

My dog loves each vet at Companion. Groomer Allison does superior work to any other groomer we've tried in the Eagan/Burnsville area. This place is a gem in the south metro!

Companion Animal Hospital and all the staff are the very best veterinarian service and team in the world. It's not easy to find great care for exotic species so we're so lucky to have found Companion. They really treat our rabbits like family. We've had the pleasure of working with Dr. Allerhand for years now and she truly is so kind and attentive to our rabbits. We trust her judgement 100% and appreciate how she is always communicative and really has our pets' best interest in mind. We always feel listened to and never pressured. Our rabbits have also seen Dr. Megan and it's been a pleasure. The vet techs are also very helpful and kind. When one of my rabbits passed away unexpectedly at home, the team spent lots of time walking me through after-life options. In addition, the team sent me a card and made a donation in my pet's name. I will always remember that act of kindness. If you are looking for high quality and compassionate care then Companion is the place. I can't recommend them enough.

This is my cat Princess. She is very shy and always very afraid of the Vet. We saw Dr. Allerhand and boy was I impressed. She treated my baby like you would treat a human baby. She was soft voiced very gentle with how she handled her. I know from other vets we have seen the the vets and vet techs want to be the ones handling your pet but Companion is different. They want your animal to feel safe and secure and allow you to give them that feeling during their exam. Dr Allerhand is the most kind Veterinarian I’ve ever met. The entire Staff at the pet hospital and boarding group have only the best intentions for your pet or as I call them furrr babies. Always the most thorough, in depth and kind experiences I’ve had with animal care... I love them so much - that I still drive far out of my area to take my animals to them. More affordable than some other places in the inner city as well. That then WITH the level of cares my animals get? Well worth the drive!

There very interested in your dogs health and wellness. Their very good at talking to you and making sure you understand what is going on.

I am fairly new to Companion Animal Hospital. We moved here in October, and I was initially having our dogs groomed by Allison (who does a great job). But the staff were so wonderful, caring, and customer-friendly that I decided to give them a try for veterinary care. We have a very senior dog with lots of challenging issues. So far, I have had her seen for various issues by three of the doctors; and I have been overwhelmingly impressed with all three of them. (And it takes a lot for me to be overwhelmingly impressed.) They are very thorough, extremely bright, and very caring. My impression is that the tone at the top in this clinic is excellent, and it is that rare clinic that seems to be singularly dedicated to doing an excellent and loving job for the pets and their families.

I have been coming here for over six years. Both my cat and dog have seen all the doctors. They were more than accommodating when I had to put down my dog and cat within a week of each other. I now have two new puppies and they LOVE the staff and the doctors. Companion Animal Hospital is one of the best around. I am sure you could go and search for something cheaper but as they say, "you pay what you get". I have gotten estimates at other places for certain procedures but I end up doing the procedures at Companion Animal Hospital regardless. I love the service the friendliness of staff and doctors and I know I can count on them to take care of my girls (pups) without worry. I highly recommend if you live in the area. I have been to two other vets and this, in my opinion, is the best all around.

I've been taking my cat to this vet for 6 years now. The staff is great, their processes are orderly, even during Covid times. All the doctors are knowledgeable and never make you feel like you are asking a dumb question. Highly recommend.

I am a first time customer and brought my kitten, Lucky, to Companion Animal Hospital. Her ears had been bothering her, so I wanted to get them checked for ear mites. Lucky is scared of new things, places, etc, so I was nervous bringing her to the vet - especially since I could not go back with her due to covid. Dr. Helgeson called with an update that Lucky did have ear mites and an infection. She was so professional and friendly during our phone call. She and the rest of the staff stated how great of a kitten Lucky was and how well she did - even in comparison to other cats. I would highly recommend Companion Animal Hospital for your pet needs! I will most definitely be coming back for check ups or anything else Lucky needs. Thank you for the great service!

We were able to get an appointment on short notice for our sick cat. They were very good taking care of our cat while practicing good covid-19 distancing.

After boarding our dog at this facility we immediately had to take her to another hospital for care due to the treatment she received at the Companion Animal Boarding Hospital. They did not change her leg bandage as requested, and they instead allowed water to get in causing an infection. Additionally, she has bruise marks across her body.

It is with heavy heart I report after a long struggle with a rare disease I lost my little beloved companion. Through this struggle there was one constant, a brilliant and caring doctor and accupuncturist that never left our side. Deb Allerhand DVM was the kind of doctor you pray for when you need a true healer. She is one of the animal angels that walk among us, dressed in ordinary clothes, with a cool, easy going hippy vibe. Deb thank you for taking my hand and guiding me through the darkest of my days and for everything you did that was way beyond the norm. If you need an accupucture go see this beautiful woman. Brought my new puppy to Companion as a new dog mom. The staff and doctors were wonderful!!! They gave a full him a full check up, and made sure my baby was taken care of and had everything he needed to take on the world! They also gave me tips and tricks as a new owner. I am so happy to have found them!

I took my dog there and shes 8 years old, and they mistook her for 8 months and wanted to administer all these shots, even though they know her history. I'm sorry but if you cant tell that difference between a senior dog from a puppy, that's really scary and you should NOT be working at the vet. And just being there the whole time the lady who brought my dog back was just not happy to be there and didnt seem to enjoy her job, I understand with Covid we couldnt be back there with my baby girl but up front I was so nervous as to what they were doing to her and how they were treating her. At least with Banfield you can go back into the room during the appointment and be with them throughout the whole thing. This is probably one of the worst experiences I've had taking my dog to the vet, and I've had animals for over 10 years and been to dozens of vets- but not one even close to what I experienced here.

I want to write this review! Because this Clinic was the only one that helped me care for my dog ​​who was very sick! I called several even the one I have as my dogs clinic 8 times a day and they never wanted to attend me! her response was "you must go to the emergency room" my dog ​​would not stop and I started to Google all the clinics and it came out as an emergency clinic and I got there with my sick puppy! When the nurse arrived she treated me no matter that it was not an emergency, they quickly treated my dog, in a matter of hours she already had a diagnosis and medicines I did not have the full money to pay but they gave me options until I found the one that fit my budget! It took 3 days since my dog ​​recovered and he is eating little by little and the Dra called me to ask how she is! I fell in love with the place and I want to continue attending with my two dogs! thanks for saving her. my life came back❤️

I took my car in for treatment and their vet was communicative about every step in their process.

We had a tough few days with my dog who started having some seizures. It was scary and stressful. The team at Companion Animal Hospital handled the situation very well. Both the Veterinarian and Technician came out to discuss the details of the events (this was during the 2020 Pandemic shutdown) and what we can expect, along with possible treatment in the future depending on how my dog does over the next few months. Professional team that truly cares for animals and their owners!
