Great staff! The vets are knowledgeable, and if you’re on a plan, the benefits are worth it! I’ve had to take my dog in 5 times in the last six months for various things, and I would have spent more money out of pocket in the first 2 had I not been on a plan.

NO MORE BANFIELD. I have 5 kittens, I took them into the clinic for their first appointment where they told me they were all healthy..I downloaded an app where you can reach out to the vet if you have any questions or concerns... I started to notice that one of my kittens had been sad and was not eating as well as having diarrhea I immediately contacted the clinic through the app to let them know and I was advised she was fine and perfectly healthy so I went to the clinic where they took her and told me they were going to run tests to see what was wrong with her but they gave back in 5min which I found odd and they kept insisting she was fine... long story short I took her to the emergency center (another clinic) and was advised that her temperature & blood glucose were unreadable and that she was dehydrated and that they needed to lo perform various tests to find out what she had and it would be best to surrender her to them... I wanted her to get better so I surrender her to them and asked them to let me know what she had as I have other kittens as well and wanted to make sure that the other ones don't get sick... the emergency center followed up with me and told me that she unfortunately passed and that she had a cery strong bacteria I went back to the clinic where they stated she was fine to let them know they neglected my kitten and they laughed at me and looked at me like i was crazy and that they didn't have any re ords of me going in but i showed them the proof i did and now another Kitten is having the same symptoms as the one that passes and i took her in immediately and for her they did do tests and turns out she has the same bacteria and that i can't have my other cats because I fear that they can also be infected

Very unprofessional! Ashley and the manager Stephanie stood out the most of very unprofessional! I would not recommend this place for your animals needs. They are careless and only care about themselves! I would be afraid to leave my pets around anyone who only cares about themselves! I would highly recommend finding another place and stay away from this place!!

I just started going to Banfield I've got a new puppy and I got the Optimal Wellness Plan insurance on her. So far they seem to be very good. My puppy is 8 weeks old she's a retriever she got sick and they were able to fit her in at the last minute. They were able to treat her and we continue to treat her the Banfield here in Eagan Minnesota is definitely a place to take your animals

They lost my dead pet in the mail... unbelievable... and they didn't even care or have a tracking number.

I do like the vets I have interacted with regarding my animals. I have pet insurance through them and here's one thing I don't like at all. You pay for pet insurance through them and pay for their service and they close at 6pm. God forbid your pet needs emergency care after 6pm because you'll have to take them to an emergency vet to pay out of pocket..while also still paying for your pet insurance. Makes no sense. My dog got sick after hours and Banfield refers to a local pet emergency hospital via automated phone call. I take my dog there only to be told that I don't have coverage and the current emergency visit will have to paid out of pocket. So... why have insurance through a place that's unavailable after 6pm and before 8am?

Every Banfield I've been to has had some of the best staff I could imagine. They truly care about your pet and how they're doing. Their response times are usually pretty good but due to the pandemic it's been a bit more difficult getting ahold of a vet. But really that isn't even their fault due to COVID 19 and a massive demand for veterinarians and vet techs. I highly recommend their pet plans. We've saved literally double what we paid just in discounts for services alone. I wasn't honestly expecting to need to go to the vet as much as I have through the last two years but without the wellness plan I'd be financially ruined. And no matter how much I've called them they never have seemed to get bothered. Quite the opposite actually, they always seemed equally as concerned as I was for my pets health. Again I can not recommend these guys enough!

I didn't bring my pet to see the vet. Just went in to buy some prescription food I needed for my cat. There was 1 person at the front desk who was on the phone, 1 person waiting to check out and I walked in. I stood waiting with the cat food for 20 min! Without any acknowledgement what-so-ever! Not even a glance my way or the other customer! No apologies for the extremely extended wait, nothing! Then finally when I got up there to pay for my purchase, she couldn't find it in the system so had to go get someone in back to help her! They only had wet canned food of the type I needed and I asked if they even sold the dry version or not? She didn't know. Could I order it so u guys could get it for me? She didn't know that either. Almost 30 min.now to purchase 5 small cans of cat food. Frustrating. Ridiculous. Annoying. Not impressed at all.

I love my sweet fur babies and when they don't feel well this is my go to place to get them treated. The staff is friendly and informative. The price is fair and I never feel like my love for my pets are being token advantage of.

I love the wellness program for our two cats and dog. I feel like it is worth the price to make sure our fur babies get their vaccines, teeth cleaned, and a check up. We spend about ~$120 a month for our animals. Knowing that, I would expect better service out of Banfield. The past few times we have dropped off our animals, we have had to wait over 15-20 mins for someone to come get them (new covid rules). The past two times when we went to go pick them up, THEY FORGOT about us! We had to remind them that we are out here waiting for our fur babies. We have had it with this location and will try an different location like St. Paul or Woodbury.

They have taken very good care of my buddy Altair both times he went in. Got him in seen and his meds. I honestly would recommend. I see Dr.Kim and she makes sure I understand everything going on with Altair, how to test it, and if I can help other than meds how to do so.

Update: Had I not been so emotional at the time, having to put my pet down, the mix up at the front desk would not have been a big deal. As you know (if you are here, you probably own a pet), pets are a part of of family that makes it complete. When they have to say goodbye, it is heartwrenching. I can honestly say, I never took Ace for granted. I loved every minute with him. And, most importantly, I gave him the life he wanted. At no time was the staff rude. They just didn't know what was going on and during this difficult time, it was upsetting. Marissa, the manager followed up with me and couldn't have been more kind. Thank you! 5 stars for the vets, - 0 starts for the desk staff. On 6/21/21, I took my pet in to be looked at after some concerning behavior the night before. Of course, I had to drop off in the morning and was to pick up that afternoon. I called around 2:30 and the front desk said, "he's ready to be picked up" and the cost for the flea/tick treatment is $XX.XX. When I got to the clinic, I called to let them know I was there. About 5 minutes later, the vet (Dr. Rutledge (sp)) called and asked me to come in - something was wrong. As it turns out, we had to put him down. I was in/out of the building and the front desk people were like, 'are you leaving'. They had no clue. In addition, they charged me for the flea/tick preventative and I had to call later and ask them to reverse the charge. The vet was incredible, amazing, compassionate, patient, etc. The front desk staff was totally spaced out and had no clue what was going on. Very irritating especially on such a difficult day.

The lack of professionalism and attitude from the vet describing what was wrong with my dog was astounding. I have never spoken to a more passive-aggressive veterinarian ever. I would not suggest going here unless you like being belittled over the phone by a Banfield vet. to think I waste money on the optimum wellness plan just to be treated like this is absurd.

I had to put my layla girl down this last Monday April 19th. Layla has gone to Banfield for her whole 15 years and they have been amazing. Always so genuine, caring and accommodating. We knew Layla was getting old but didn't expect her to be put down during a visit Monday but she started to have a significant seizure. The team was so kind to me and gave me all the time i needed. thank you Eagan Banfield

Out of all my years of dog ownership I think this is the worst vet that I have ever seen operated or been to and as a healthcare professional it is the most outrageous office. I moved here from Michigan and went here based off of a recommendation when we got our new puppy. We have had nothing but issues from the get go. First off they have a male Doctor that you cannot understand because they’re such a language barrier. But when you call they will tell you that they do not have any male doctors at that facility only a male technician.....so the next time my dog went in he saw the same doctor and the doctor called me because of Covid you can’t go in and I let my doctor I work for listen to this Call so that he could indeed verify that my dog was seen by a male. So either they are letting the technician play doctor or they don’t know who their staff veterinarians are. Next my dog was neutered because you know I paid for the wellness plan we dropped him off at 7:30 in the morning by 10 AM they were calling me to rush him to the emergency vet. Come to find out from the emergency vet not only was the condition caused by Banfield it could’ve been prevented because he had an abnormality before they put under for the surgery.... you know a veterinarian is guilty when they offfer to pay for the entire emergency visit... Which was a very nice jester after everything. Until I got the emergency vet bill in the mail because they still haven’t paid it almost 4 weeks later. So I’ll be addressing that today. Moral of the story don’t take your dog here if you value their life and health

My cat became sick very quickly and I began searching at midnight for a vet that I could get her in to see ASAP. I've never taken any of my pets to Banfield before, but I was able to schedule her to see Dr. Ryan the very next morning at 8a. She took great care of Calypso and I'm very happy and thankful for their services. I also got a detailed print out of everything they did and her treatment plan with lots of information, which is super appreciated because vets in the past have not given me anything more than an itemized receipt which is not helpful to keep records with on what was exactly done and what was determined to be the issue.

When I arrived at this location, there were 3 people in the lobby and no one was being helped. The woman at the front desk did not acknowledge anyone waiting. Another woman came from the back and had already clocked out for the day but helped everyone waiting and was very kind and helpful! The other woman just continued to put people on hold and hung up on a few people. There was only one person in the lobby she helped and she spoke so fast and was very short with him. She was then complaining that “people need to stop calling *eye roll*”. She was extremely unprofessional. This company would be much better off with a different face representing them.

I had my dog neutered two weeks ago where they had me bring him in at 7:15am. I was told a nonspecific time by 3-4pm from the staff who took our dog from curve side pickup. Time kept passing by we thought it was strange we had not heard if our dog was ready to be picked up. Once it started to become close to 4:30pm we decided to call to see what the status on his surgery and the receptionist said our dog was done since 3pm. Our dog had not eaten since 10pm night before since he was suppose to be on anesthetics. The receptionist then informed us we had to go to petsmart to buy a cone for him since they did not have the right size even though this appointment was already set 2 month before. We were told he was to have a second check up on his neuter in two weeks to see if he was set to being active again. Appointment was set and confirmed to Saturday 1:45pm in two weeks. It is 5pm and due to covid-19 we are still waiting for them to bring our dog out to our car with his medications. That day we tried not to make it too much of an issue since we could tell our dog had gone through too much already to be there any longer. Our dog is known for being active and hyper where during his recuperations, he reopened a part of his stitches a bit, we noticed it early in the morning and contacted them. We then sent a picture to confirm if he needed to get restitched or if it wasn't that serious. Due to this occuring later in the day we were told they had no spots. After sending a picture, the Vet reviewed it and confirmed it was opened but could go another day where. The receptionist stated the next opening was the following the morning. Due negative degree weather our car did not start and we had rescheduled with the receptionist to do a drop off later that same day. Reviewing my emails 10mins later, I noticed no confirmation on appointment were sent and call to see if appointment was set. Receptionist confirmed he is scheduled for a check up on Saturday at 1:45pm but nothing was set for that Monday's drop off to review his partial reopening cut. Receptionist tells me that they are booked and can not see our dog. We asked receptionist if they wanted a picture of the cut to see if it was still an urgent matter; receptionist told us to await for a call. We never received any call from Banfield. Friday comes and again I do not see an email or notification of appointment reminder on the app. I call to confirm and the receptionist tells me that our dog is not listed to be checked up. Receptionist said we would have to do a drop off early morning if not till mid next week to set an appointment. I asked her how long a drop off would take and she said it be like half a day at the vet. Receptionist did not try to give us our appointment we had already set two weeks in advanced when our dog got neutered. All our dog needs is a confirmation if his cut he partially reopened is sealed and/or healed with the okay of him no longer wearing a cone. Not even a visit to the doctor after a surgery takes half a day sitting at a doctor office. All could of been avoided if receptionist could do her job in setting appointments, sending notifications, and being able to notify you when your dog can be picked up. If we would of know it would of been this uncoordinated, unprofessional, and no customer service we would of ended our dog plan that also does not cover all of his medications long time ago! I highly suggest to safe your money and find a new location

They offer a great plan very low cost for your animal's health care. All Marley's vaccines are included in this plan, and he has two comprehensive exams every year. If Marley has any health issues throughout the 6 month's he comes into the office with no cost at all to me. I love this plan, and Banfield they saved his life when he was just 9 month's old, and I wouldn't take him anywhere else.
