Excellent staff, very friendly vets and nurses, good prices, accepts CareCredit which helps me a ton, and very quick scheduling as well! My cats seem to like it here too lol they don't panic at all once we get there and out of the cage!

We got a new pup a few months ago and after a long search (with everyone being booked out until September) we picked Dougherty. It was meant to be. We see Dr. Emma and she has been so good with our dog. Everyone is always on time, we’re never waiting long, professional, kind, good with our pup, and seem genuinely happy to be helping. The rooms are always clean and well taken care of. Recently we had a scare and though they were booked up (early before a weekend) they made time to get us in. They took our concerns seriously and provided us with great communication for the duration of time, and sent us home with clear instruction. We were nearly ready to drive our dog to the cities. Thank you for being so accommodating and willing to squeeze us in! We have made this our vet clinic of choice!

Brought our bunny here for a check up and nail trimming. They handled him very gently and were fantastic with him. Highly recommend for any bunny services!

Switched from Waters Edge to Dougherty's and wish I did this so many years ago. The front desk, tech and dr were amazing with my 13 yr old yorkipoo and myself. They spent an hour with us and went over so many things. Not once did they make me feel rushed and treated a symptom the other vet wouldn't treat for 8+ years. Plus it was the lowest vet bill I've ever had. Highly reccomend Doughertys!

We just moved to Duluth and were looking for a vet - in particular, one that would see birds. Everyone at Dougherty was so kind and helpful! We are new bird owners and this was our first time bringing him to a vet. They patiently answered all of our questions, and were so sweet and gentle with our bird. We are VERY happy and look forward to returning with the rest of our furry family!

Fantastic, genuinely compassionate service. Very flexible and willing to do what they can to make your pet comfortable. The vet and the techs are so kind, helpful and thorough. When no other vet could see me, Dr. J made a last minute emergency appt so I could be with my cat when he was put down. She was so patient and gentle. Thank you. It made all the difference.

I've had many experiences with this vet. Dr Kelly and Dr Dougherty took care of my Cavalier when he went into heart failure. (still alive and well) They met our cat and our great Dane. All of them were so cared for. I have to post this now though, with tears. We put our 17 year old dog to rest today. And in all of our time, 20 years, of adopting, medicating etc of pets, this was the kindest, most comfortable and touching way to let a pet go. Our tough times right now required clinical things like gloves, masks and gowns. And they handled this with such care. I don't want to go into detail, but the passing of our Bruce, was so kind, peaceful and cared for that I can honestly say there is zero I could ask for more. Dr Kelly, her team and literally every person there have been more compassionatly there for us than I could ask for. We are filled with gratitude for every single thing you have done for us and our babies. I write this for those want that love. They have it here.

Absolutely amazing! We recently moved out of the area, and our new veterinary clinic made us realize just how amazing Dougherty’s is. They have the best customer service, always seem to be in a great mood and clearly have an unparalleled level of compassion for your pet. I have a lab who suffers from seizures and a shepherd who was a working dog. Both required in-depth care and Dougherty’s were amazing with both, able to change gears in a heartbeat and offer the highest level of service. I can’t recommend them enough.

My cat Houdini has had severe, hot, itchy ear problems since he was a kitten, he is 8 years now!! Had taken him, several times, to our “previous” vet and they did nothing for him and never meds. Went to Dougherty last month with him. They gave him an exam, did the work to figure the ear problem out, gave us meds and Bam, ear problem all gone. He hasn’t scratched since and his ears are cool to the touch now. He must feel so much better now. If you’re looking for good veterinarian care, please consider here ????????
