I first brought my pets here at the beginning of the pandemic. It was further away then other clinics but the only one available. Ended up continuing to go here because the staff is very friendly and helpful. They discuss things with you if you ask for details. Just overall a pleasant experience each time I go.

Brought my cranky old kitty in today who wasn't doing so great. Dr. Johnston quickly identified her problem was a abcess on her leg. Both Dr and techs did a fantastic job of treating it! Our cat wasn't letting us touch it without making a fuss, I fully expected her to scream and fight them - I didn't hear her make a peep! They did an excellent job of keeping her calm and comfortable.

They don’t care about animals here unfortunately

This vet clinic helped me when no one else would. They squeezed me in to help my kitty. My cat visited 7 vets before this one; and they are the ones who found out what my cat has and how to treat it correctly. I love the staff and its so welcoming!!! highly recommend!!!!! I switched from banfield to this clinic

We took our Cat Zoey in for the 1st time to get shots. The 1st shot went ok but Zoey was not liking the thought of a 2nd. They were so professional and patient, they had to bring in extra workers to get the 2nd shot completed. We were so happy that they didn't give up and they took the time to get everything completed and worked around Zoey's attitude. Definitely recommend them

My dog has been sick and this clinic was able to get me in when I called in, The receptionist was super nice on the phone and was very welcoming to me and my husband when we arrived. The doctors here were also very nice and very professional despite how aggressive and feisty my dog is, they ran tests on my dog and the next day called and explained everything thoroughly so we can get my dog the help she needs. I was very satisfied with the service I received here and will definitely be using this clinic in the future.

They don't make you feel like a client here, they make you feel like family. Taking my puppy to the vet feels more like taking him for a visit with his grandmother

Called yesterday to make an appt, and asked if I should speak with someone, but they did not put me through. Told them ALL the details of what has been happening. Came to the appt. the next day, called to check in, and was asked right away how I was going to pay. How RUDE! Then put on hold for 5 minutes, vet tech came on the line and asked what was wrong with my dog. She did not have informaiton from the call made the previous day! I did not stay. Pay seemed the number #1 concern, not for the animal. Past visits have been okay. Not happy at all. Maybe COVID has made a difference. Was told would not able to be with animal for visit - not thrilled with that either.

I had a wonderful experience. Rozi was well taken care of. We have found our new vet. Thank you. Communication was awesome, care was great and thorough.

My friends 8 week old kitten got super hooked into a stored fishing lure in her face and paws, and we came straight to the Pet Hospital and they dropped everything they were doing at that point to help this little girl and did a FANTASTIC job getting her detached and fixed up. Thank you SO much to the vets and doctors at this pet hospital. She's all stiched up and whatnot, but at least she's still a cute lityle purr machine

Prompt and very nice service

If I could give no stars I would this place is an absolute joke and they don't let you do payment plans either if you need something like that they make you sign up for a place for a loan that isn't guaranteed and couldn't figure out something simple like a bladder infection after doing like 4 tests would never bring my poor baby back here ever again

Called just to ask a couple questions and the girl was very rude. Couldn’t even finish my question when she cut me off and told me ‘you’ll have to call back I can’t answer that.’ Definitely would not recommend.

The front entry way girl was really rude with us. Her name was mai and i told her my dog was shy and she continued to say she knows dogs and they all love her, when my dog snapped at her for being in his face she hit him. We will never, ever come back here.

I went for a nail clip and a follow up on draining a lump of fluid my dog has had on his shoulder that was previously diagnosed. They charged me a $65 exam with a different vet for a five minute conversation to tell me everything I already knew that needed to be done. I will not be returning any of my dogs there just so they can upcharge you for anything possible. $90 later all I received was a nail trim.

We have been a client of Coon Rapids Pet Hospital for 25+ years. The doctors and staff have always been professional and made sure we understood the issues we were facing with the dogs we have brought there over the years. Thank you again for caring for our dogs like they were your own and the kindness you always extended no matter the situation!

It was time to euthanize our best dog boy today. it was a heart wrenching experience but i was able to get into this vet with no delay even though they weren't our regular vet.. and it was a very reasonable cost. My pup was made comfortable and totally at ease as he passed. the vet was professional, prepared and did an amazing job. the staff was courteous, prompt. The techs were amazing and compassionate. thank you for all you do. four stars only because of the occasion.

My family and I have been taking our animals here for about 20 years now and we have had nothing but the best care for our pets! They truly treat you like family and have your pet's best interest in mind!

The staff is honest and friendly! They took amazing care of my cat, Virgil while he was sick.

We have been coming to this vet for years and years and I’ve finally had it. For all of the mistakes they’ve made to over charging on vet bills. They misdiagnosed my puppy as having a bug bite when he actually had a tumor. After telling them this wasn’t normal they finally retested and then discovered it was a tumor, luckily it was benign. Prior to this expensive vet visit he had a hernia which they continued to tell us was fine and we could wait to get him fixed, turns out it was ripping and getting worse this entire time turning into a pretty bad hernia and an extremely expensive surgery. Today when I expressed concerns with my bill they didn’t give me much of a response. After so many years you’d think they would be more considerate however this is not the case. I’d strongly advise you to look elsewhere for care. We will be transferring to another vet.

All of the staff is very friendly, helpful and has taken the best care of my dogs! They are sure to answer all questions I have every had!!

This place is awesome. Rachel, the receptionist is always warm and welcoming. The prices are good and dr Bailey Johnson and dr Kathy S. are both very accommodating and listen to all concerns you may have. Recommended.

Best place to take your pets.

Horrible horrible horrible been taking our dog there for a while so we took her last week for surgery since they are incompetent to do their job in the first place come home she gets sick for a couple days then go back today to be told they called and told us about the issue today 2 weeks ago when that was completely false information they never said anything and could have addressed this then but they waited then tell us to our faces they told is then charged us 200 for a visit today for something they could have done 2 weeks ago to take care of it then then tell us we will have to come back next week for more surgery because they can't do their jobs the first time so they want another 80 for the visit and 300 for surgery and then meds and what ever else they are going to claim they find or better yet not tell us so they can force us back sorry not any more this is down right the worst vet to take your aminal to they will over charge you and eventually let your animal die the vet is horrible she was very very rude they don't even do normal vet care of your animals good we usually just go in for a nail trim and file yet they can't do that correctly at all because we always end up back due to them not even being able to do that correctly! Stay away they will just rip you off and lie to you.

I was very impressed with everyone. The staff that checked us in, the vet techs and the Dr. All were very professional, kind and empathetic. We have used this facility for 3 different pets in the past and I would never go anywhere else. They actually care about your pet.
