I was told my cats appointment would take "10-15 minutes" and to wait in my car. I came back in 35 minutes later for an update. The receptionist said she would go check on it, but did not update me until an hour and 15 minutes total had passed. Will never be back, they were super unprofessional and unresponsive. If it's going to take an hour+, just communicate that so people can go about their days instead of waiting around.

I bring my dog here for a simple bi monthly glad squeeze. They tell me to wait in my car and my dog will be ready in 15-20 minutes. After waiting 35 minutes I go back inside and ask if my dog is ready? They say oh yes she has been ready, would you like to check her out? Hmmm DUHHH? They ask you to wait outside but then don’t notify you when your dog is ready. I pay the technician and she said ok I’ll get your dog tonight now. Then I swear on all that’s holy I wait another 15 minutes before she finally brings my dog out. I spent 50 minutes on what was a 15 minute appointment. Never going here again. I remember when banfield used to be quality.

If not for them fitting Baxter in between surgeries my boy would not be alive today. I am so thankful for they way they treated him and worked within my budget to get the best help possible. He is a healthy and obnoxious 10 uear old Jackweenie, as should be.

When I was checking in for my dogs appt the lady at the desk loudly announced to the entire lobby that my account was in collections and that I would have to pay cash for all of my services. I had paid cash for everything up until that point. So I was unsure why my account would be in collections. It was very unprofessional for her to announce that in front of multiple people. I will not be returning to this vet.

Ashley Ann was my cat's vet today and she was so sweet, did such a good job with Melvin and found something that the other two vets I have seen missed!! Thanks to her I feel like we finally have answers about my pet's health and if this location wasn't so far away I would go here every time!!! I will admit I was a little skeptical because of the bad reviews but I had such a wonderful experience and so did Melvin. Also, all the front desk people were super sweet even though there were 100 things going on. Thank you!!!!!!

Total scam. They were treating my dog for heart worm and told us to give him 200 mg of trazodone to keep him calm. The prescription is for 100 mg and we ran out early due to the “vets” instructions. Now they refuse to refill after lectures on how keeping him calm is imperative to his recovery.

The receptionist was impatient and rude when we checked in 15 minutes early. I could not hear the tech because the waiting room is so small, narrow, and loud. I told her I couldn’t hear her and she said “there is nothing we can do about that”. How about take me down the hall a little ways so I can hear you? I asked for a nail trim and they took off so little of his nails he will need another trim in a week. We were not allowed in the exam room. I have never met the doctor but yet am expected to just hand over my dog and blindly let them do whatever they want to him. If they are treating the owners with little to no patience in the reception/waiting area how are they treating our pets behind closed doors? They also have their exam room windows covered. This seems secretive about what they are doing to your pet but then they openly discuss your pets medical issues in front of EVERYONE in the tiny reception/waiting area. My dogs name was not on the “who’s here today” board for his visit either time he has been there. This is unwelcoming. As of now, I am disappointed that I purchased a wellness plan. If things do not improve I will be not renew my plan and look for a more professional clinic.

The technician who cut my dog’s nails was terrible. She said mean things and looks really frustrated. We had no problem with other banfield, terrible experience overall.

Charged us for blood work when one free blood work was still available on our wellness plan, claiming they could not use that one, so we had to pay $225 extra for that. What's the point in having one free blood test with your wellness plan when they don't let you use it when the dog actually needs it? If they need her blood work for her upcoming dental appointment next month, they just could pull up the blood work results. There not gonna be a change in her blood within a month. Vet tech was talking dogs medical issues and bill in front of other waiting pet patients. Dog was supposed to be accompanied because she is skittish but they wouldn't let us come in the room with her. After asking the vet tech why, she said our dog was only afraid of kennels not strangers, that's why we weren't allowed in the room. This is news to us, our 9 year old Chow Chow was never afraid of kennels just people she doesn't know. They most likely weren't able to full exam her because she is skittish of strangers. She had notes in her files to be only accompanied because other Banfield's wouldn't allow a drop off. We specifically asked for an appointment to accompany her and ended up waiting 1,5 hours for some blood work not allowed inside the room after waiting 3 extra days for an appointment because accompanied appointments weren't available.

Banfield is always helpful and accommodating. They always try to get you in if you need help with your pup right away. They have multiple locations which is so helpful. If they give you prescription meds they can give them to you before you leave the store that day. You can login for smaller things, also see dates and they make rescheduling easy which is really nice (especially for me I have health issues so something like rescheduling is important).

They do nothing but sell wellness plans and use scare tactics to sell unnecessary services and pills. They do not care about your pet, only the money they will bring in. I had my German shepherd there for a few years. They tried to sell me meds when he was bitten by another dog. The doctor directly said he would not need them, then the tech came in and told us we weren't taking care of our dog by not getting him the meds. We left, never came back. Fast forward to today, when we took our new puppy in at the recommendation of the adoption shelter. We came in with an open mind, but again received nothing but sales pitches and pushy BS. THEY DIDN'T EVEN ASK ABOUT THE DOG, the first thing I was asked is if we wanted a wellness plan. They tried to charge us the complimentary exam, and when they realized we were still considering our local trustworthy vet for these services, they showed us the door without of the information they said we'd need for our new puppy's care. You're not worth their time if you're not willing to do the unnecessary services at the expense of your pets health. Hey Banfield, stop monetizing pets.

Heather (Vet-tech) deserves a HUGE raise. I’m so thankful for her help today when I brought my dog River in! She took exceptional care of her. I have to admit, I was about done with this place because of the $$$ the company is after. But, you guys didn't lose a customer today, because of Heather. Thank you!

Had a very negative experience when I brought my 5 month old puppy in for a new patient exam. First of all they kept telling me he was underweight and that he could have worms and insisted on a fecal test even though I explained I just got him a month ago he was 25 lbs then and is 42 lbs now. I did not get the fecal sample done. Also they wouldn't give me a three month prescription of heartgard and nexgard. They want me to bring him in once a month for a few months straight to get one tablet per visit to monitor his weight when I could easily monitor that at home. Lastly the vets assistant was very unprofessional and kept complaining and being snotty about my puppy being jumpy. Will not be returning to Banfield and will be going elsewhere for now on.

My husband took our dog there for one vax because our vet was booked. They gave her a rabies shot when she just had one in December a 3 year one. They asked my husband if she should get it and he said no my wife said not to, and they did it anyways. Reason they thought to ask is because we also had to do that one somewhere else because our vet was booked but then they said because our normal vet didn't have it on file that it was done, they decided to go off that instead of my husband's request. It was 120$ for this BS (with a free exam coupon!) And now I'm worried my 12 lb dog will be sic from 2 rabies 3 year in 7months
