Claudia at the front desk is always friendly and helpful. Make sure the Vet you visit really matches your Dogs Needs. I'm not fond of the office manager. As a "Corporate" Vet Hospital you need to weigh all recommendations. Also, always ask if needed meds are prescription only or available via human pharmacies as deals and prices can change significantly.

My cat Tucker had to go Rainbow Bridge this morning. The staff especially the head vet was so nice and caring for my cat and myself. They comforted Tucker and myself and thank them for easing his pain and treating us like a family. God Bless all of you.

Love the staff here. Dr. Geske was so compassionate and thorough when my dog Rhiannon had acute liver failure. She really left no stone unturned while she tried to figure out what was wrong with my dog. When Rhia took at turn for the worse and needed to go to the ER at Blue Pearl, the staff promptly coordinated with them. The transfer of care and quality of communication from VCA, to Blue Pearl, and back again to VCA was seamless. Once Rhia was stable, I was able to medically board Rhiannon with VCA during the workday in case she crashed again. I didn't worry so much at work because I knew she was in safe hands here. They also did frequent blood tests to make sure her liver was healing, and gave her lots of love too. I'm absolutely positive that Dr. Geske and the staff here helped save my dog's life. Thank you!

The office staff is incompetent, exam rooms are dirty, and they barely answer the phone. Every visit I have been overcharged, double charged or there is a billing error.

High Quality Staff , Quick Affordable Care , Clean & Quiet Environment. Option to be seen in exam room or wait in your vehicle. VCA seems like a well organized professional outfit

My initial experience when we started visiting was great. The vets were great and the communication was well. However, the quality of service has plunged so much recently that I wouldn't not recommend them anymore. There's no communication between staff members. You give them instructions for one thing and they do the exact opposite or don't forward the messages correctly. They are unable to "handle" pets, which is I think a weird thing to say for a veterinary institution. This is not from one or two visits, I had to take my cat there at 6-8 times over the course of last year, maybe more and each visit had these traits of inefficiency, miscommunication and overall lack of competence. I'm very sad to leave such a harsh review because I genuinely liked our initial experiences. I hope they fix their process and get back to a better standard as before.

Vet refused to see my dog again, today after I voiced a concern I had with miscommunication and my dislike for the care. I complained 1 time during my visit today and was denied to have my dog be seen again. The vet canceled my care club membership that I paid $40 every month for the past 2 years, my dog was only seen a couple of times. I brought my dog in today because she wasn’t feeling well, the vet couldn’t give me an answer. So they left me unable to figure out what is wrong with me dog because they refused to see her because vet GESKE said “i didn’t trust her” because I questioned the care I was receiving and the inconsistency with her fear free medication and there lack of concern for my dog. They suck. It’s not worth it. They don’t care about your animal. They don’t care about your concerns about your animals health. Very poor service.

We just started using VCA unfortunately my oldest pet died and they were there with care for her during her last week. Their prices are good we taking a few other animals there and I do like the staff

I have been taking my cat King here all his life. The technicians and Veterinarians are very good and patient with him. VCA truly cares about your pets well being. They have a great program for senior pets where you pay monthly and shots, office visits, etc are all included in the monthly price.

I have been bringing my fur babies to VCA for years and have always received the very best of care for them. The staff has always been kind, efficient and caring, they have worked with me caring for many of my cats over the years. They now are there for Sophie, Sam and Julie, always meeting our needs and working to maintain their health and well-being.

Have been coming here for 40 yrs. So we are NEVER EVER going back here! Want to know why? We made a dental appt 2.5 months ago. Came in today for their bloodwork and health exam prior to their appt in two weeks. They charged us $900.00 for the exams, blood works (2 dogs) and two shots each. And one xray Then they tell me- After doing all this and taking my money- they have to CANCEL the dental appts in two weeks because the doctor quit. Next appt is Dec 28th!! They KNEW before we came this was an issue. They never Informed us. Never called us! This IS Criminal! If you see this and go here you will get what you deserve. I am disgusted and shocked. Obviously they are poorly run and make bad decisions. Is this were you want to go?

Dr. Liu specializes in rabbitry! She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and caring! She took care of my 3-year old holland lop and clipped her nails! I am definitely coming back in a year for my bunny’s yearly check up!

I have been here three times, and after the third time I threw in the towel because I had multiple experiences with miscommunication and some pretty severe mix-ups. The first time I came in was to get my cat caught up on a booster that the shelter I'd adopted her from said she still needed. The shelter said they would cover the cost, and I confirmed this when I booked the appointment. At the appointment, they gave my cat the wrong shot - they let me know right away and gave her the correct one, then gave me the bill, which I said I'd confirmed would be paid by the shelter. This took a while to get sorted out, but it was eventually sorted. I took my cat back a while later for a minor overgrooming issue. She was given several expensive tests that required blood drawn - they couldn't get the blood they needed the first day so I had to bring her back the next day and sat in my car in sweltering heat until my car battery died. They finally brought her out, had stabbed all four of her limbs to get a blood sample. This resulted in a $500+ bill (AFTER I caught that they had tried to double charge me for the same test twice), and zero leads on what was causing the overgrooming issue. I try to be reasonable and I know there's a lot going on, and i can forgive a lot. But when I looked back at mistake after mistake, on top of the over-average price tag with zero resolution, I decided to find a different vet and I haven't been back since.

If I could give negative Stars I would! Labeled my dog as aggressive because he didn't like 3 techs cornered him in a small room. One of the doctors had no problem telling me she's not familiar and she's not comfortable with large dog she's more used to cats and bunnies. Try to email Bloomington VCA but conveniently their website is down. My dog is petrified of the vet office because of Bloomington VCA. Only good thing are the receptionist.

We bring both our dogs here. The staff is friendly and the doctor takes time to listen and determine the best possible care plans.
